Country Villa Weddings & Events

We could not have been more pleased with the venue and the staff at Country Villa. Andrew was very responsive and accommodating, and the space is beautiful. We can't recommend Country Villa enough!

We got in contact with this team about a year ago and I guess we caught them before they blew up because since then they've created a website to make it easier to make and track payments, they've also hired a coordination team and lead. Maybe they already had the team but I think the lead is new, so if you're not having a complicated wedding and need some slight help in the background, I recommend asking if he could help with day-of coordination tasks. Andrew was amazing; I hired a day-of coordinator last minute and if I knew I had his support, I don't know if I needed to, so check in with them on that.

Atmosphere was impeccable, our photos turned out great, there's enough room on the pavilion to fit 8 round tables and all other (DJ, cake, gifts, photos, Bar, food) very comfortably. They offer black or white linens and they have their own chairs for the ceremony. You'll just have to decide where you walk out from for the ceremony was the biggest decision I had to make. The flower tunnel (stunning) is a little too far from the alter but if you want the drama, definitely do-able. We walked out officially from a little ways closer to the alter and it worked out really well. The Pavilion lights were beautiful and was all we needed after dark. The yard is also well lit with all the trees being lit. Another thing to think about too is where you have your bride/groom table. All of the centers of the pavilion have a column in the way, so we went right in front of a column so everyone could see us. We were in the dance floor space but it's large enough it was never a problem. Oh, last thing, the only bathroom connects to the bridal suite which I wasn't aware of so don't leave your stuff in there; it's your wedding so if someone steals the bride's stuff.... They're in for it... Just FYI when people are trying to use the bathroom before the ceremony. Last last thing, if you're taking pictures in the back woodsy part behind the alter I recommend bug spray, the rest of the venue was great because they spray it all down. Overall mystical, intimate, magical place for your special day. 10/10

I was suspicious about how the reviews about a wedding venue could all be so positive, but now after our wedding, I know why. The venue and the team supporting it was fantastic. Very easy to work with, treated us like family, and really put heart and hard work into making Country Villa a special place. They and our vendors were a seamless team. Don't let the unassuming house in front of the property throw you off. Their event grounds are meticulously maintained and expansive. While our weather held out, it was great to know that we had a back-up plan under the covered area if the weather hadn't cooperated. Thank you! It was a perfect day.

If you are looking for an open-air venue to host your event in Virginia Beach, you found it! I am a professional DJ and I work a few wedding events here every year and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. The Pavillion is a nice size. The grounds are well-kept. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. I got to shout out to the owner, Petie, she is always kind and available to answer any of my questions. They surely go above and beyond for their clients to have the best time ever. Highly recommend! From initial inquiry to execution of the event, every interaction has been such a positive experience with Petie, Phil, & Terri. They are such kind people who truly care about making your day magical & will go above and beyond any way they can help! The grounds were meticulously maintained for our day despite the rain, cold, and wind, and we were able to keep pressing on as planned due to the venue heaters and side walls that could drop down for extra coverage. The venue & team collaborated seamlessly with all of our hired vendors & we heard all night from guests of how beautiful the venue is. Such a hidden gem! Thanks again Petie, Phil, Terri & team for making our day so perfect!

Country Villa is a beautiful spacious venue. I loved that it had a space for both the bride and groom to get ready and relax on the day of the wedding. The owners were amazing, they were professional and down to earth which made working with them a breeze. They are accommodating and understanding and always ready to help with any questions or concerns you have during your wedding planning and day of . Would highly recommend!

We love this place, after looking at many venues we found this one was perfect so that we could have the wedding that we wanted and not the one that someone else would allow us to have. From day 1, which was about 3 years ago due to covid, Terri and Petie were wonderful and treated us like family. They worked with us on payment options and pushing the wedding back at least 3 times in the past years. Once we arrived, they kept saying if you need anything let us know and they meant it! They helped us with everything that we asked them for and they were always on stand by to lend a helping hand! They were there for us every step of the way to ensure that everything went the way that we wanted. Not to mention the venue was beautiful and well kept! Everything about this venue was amazing and I could not imagine having my wedding anywhere else!

From the very day that Clyde and I booked Country Villa Inn for our Wedding on 09/11/2021. Petie, Phi and Terri went above and BEYOND to make our day everything Clyde and I wanted. Petie and Phil made sure that all our our wishes came true. I got to have my Chandelier thank you Terri for meeting with the event staff to make that happen. The Bridal Suite and Groomsmen suite allowed Clyde and I to relax and enjoy getting ready to spend the rest of our lives together. Thank you Petie, Phil and Terri for allowing this day to be so enjoyable for Clyde and I. Especially our Guest each and everyone felt so special and loved how gorgeous the entire Venue was they were BLOWN away. Clyde and I can never repay you for making all of our Guest comfortable from the moment they parked till they departed. We had the best forest vibe wedding for my daughter and the venue was beautiful for a May wedding with the lights, greenery and all the grounds. We brought in Fruitwood chairs, bars, arches, flowers, and ivory linens to match perfectly with the forest outdoorsy feel that my daughter was looking for. Petie and Terri would great to work with and we couldn't have asked for a better day.
