I recently had the most unforgettable birthday celebration, and I can't stop smiling whenever I think about it! From start to finish, everything was absolutely perfect and filled with love, laughter, and incredible memories. The day kicked off with thoughtful surprises that set the tone—a room decorated with balloons, photos, and hand-written notes from friends and family. I felt so appreciated and special right from the moment I woke up. The Boiler Room was a hit. There were cozy seating areas, and the speakeasy vibe felt very intimate. The food? Absolutely delicious—every dish was a hit, from the appetizers to the drinks. The service was top tier the bartender was friendly and staff very attentive. It was a great time! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Highly recommend booking the Boiler Room for celebrating birthdays like this or a bachelor/bachelorette event —surrounded by ljust a little bit of magic

The owners are both very nice people! They helped my husband and I alot! The venue they have is absolutely stunning, with mountains surrounding us! I am very happy we had this place as our venue, as we had our close friends and family staying in the lodge. I really appreciate everything David and Ginger have provided and what they have done for my husband and I! Absolutely amazing people with an amazing venue!

We just had our wedding at the Craddock Terry a couple of weeks ago, and it was overall such a great experience! The venue is absolutely beautiful, and you can't beat the fact that they have an amazing restaurant (Shoemakers) as part of the hotel that takes care of the food for you (which was delicious)! Everything is so convenient; the reception area is right beside where you would have your cocktail hour/ceremony (if you have it indoors), which is really easy for guests! We planned to have our ceremony outside on the patio, but the weather did not cooperate, but it wasn't a big deal because the Craddock Terry has a gorgeous option for indoor ceremonies! You will also have so many options of beautiful spots to take pictures, indoors and outdoors. We also opted to have the day of directing service, which I am so glad we did, Anna did such an amazing job of organizing everything and keeping everything moving smoothly on the day of! She helped alleviate so much stress right before the wedding by reaching out to vendors for us and just made us feel at ease on the day of. Even if you don't get the day of directing service, you will still work with Anna in the planning process and will certainly enjoy the experience. I literally did not have to worry about anything on our wedding day, and honestly didn't feel stressed at all, which was such a great feeling! In short, I can't recommend the Craddock Terry enough; you will no doubt have a stressfree and absolutely beautiful wedding day!

If you are looking for the best venue to host your Suffolk wedding, you found it! I am a professional DJ and I work a few wedding events here every year and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. The riverfront is the icing on top of the cake, I love when we get to do ceremonies out there. They surely go above and beyond for their clients to have the best time ever. Our daughter's dream wedding was held at the Williamsburg Inn. From the moment she stepped onto the grounds she knew it was the perfect setting for her wedding. The venue is stunning, timeless historic and beautifully maintained, offering countless stunning photo opportunities. We cannot recommend, Yuani Valentine, Weddings and Special Events Coordinator, highly enough! Yuani's knowledge of the venue, attention to detail, and prompt responses made everything seamless. Lindsay Codekas, Manager of the Floral Studio at the Williamsburg Inn, created stunning bouquets and centerpieces. From start to finish, the food exceeded all expectations--beautifully presented, flavorful, and perfectly timed. The wedding cake was a showstopper. The pastry chef worked with us to customized flavors and fillings. It looked stunning and tasted even better. The combination of the Williamsburg Inn's breathtaking ambiance and Yuani's exceptional expertise created a celebration that was both sophisticated and deeply personal. We cannot recommend this venue highly enough for couples seeking a wedding experience defined by elegance, impeccable service and unforgettable memories.

From start to finish nothing but professionalism, open communication and flexibility. Danielle started us off and then Nikki took over they both are beautiful women with beautiful souls. We were supposed to have an outside wedding, the rain said no. They worked with us through the financial and emotional hurdles. We appreciate them and the serving staff for the reception. Also the restaurant did a great job for the rehearsal dinner.

The Jefferson is a gorgeous hotel and the guests that were able to stay there had a wonderful experience. They sent champagne and chocolate strawberries to our room on the wedding night and made every accommodation for dietary restrictions at my bridal luncheon in the library. Our only complaint is that we were told it would be easy to add rooms to our block as needed but the hotel was fully booked 6 months in advance and many guests struggled to find accommodations on a very busy weekend in Richmond.

We couldn't have asked for a more stunning and seamless experience than what we had at Mountain Lake Lodge. From the moment we visited, we knew it was the perfect place for our wedding day. The venue is absolutely breathtaking, with a gorgeous landscape and a warm, homey feel that created the ideal backdrop for both our ceremony and reception. The attention to detail is extraordinary—every corner of the venue feels like it’s been thoughtfully crafted to make your event unforgettable. Whether it was the beautiful outdoor spaces with sweeping views or the charming indoor areas, Mountain Lake Lodge offered the perfect blend of natural beauty and comfort. We were blown away by how smoothly everything went, thanks to Lyndsi and the rest of the catering and events teams who went above and beyond to ensure our day was flawless. They were professional, accommodating, and genuinely invested in making our wedding day as special as possible. We couldn't be happier with our choice of venue, and we’re so thankful to Mountain Lake Lodge for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a magical and unforgettable wedding experience!
