Bent Mountain Lodge

My husband and I got married at Bent Mountain Lodge in May 2026. We had a few places on our list and Bent Mountain Lodge was first based on the stunning mountain views. When we arrived for the tour with the owners, Ginger and David, we immediately knew this was the place. It could accommodate a small or large gathering, there was space for family to stay onsite, and we could rent the venue for the entire weekend. When planning the wedding, we enjoyed the ability to choose our own vendors and not have to be limited to a vendor list. The planning process was made easier by Ginger and David, who were always willing to answer questions by email/text/phone during the months leading up to our wedding.

Our wedding weekend at Bent Mountain Lodge was amazing. The guests loved the venue; there was time, and room, for everyone to hang out before, during, and after the wedding. Ginger and David work tirelessly to make sure the wedding weekend preparations are fantastic and are available the day of to greet your vendors or help in any way they can.

Throughout the weekend we enjoyed the small things like waking up to a beautiful sunrise in the bridal suite and watching from above while the vendors decorated for our dream wedding. The horses in the background, not feeling rushed to leave after the wedding, the ability to have a shuttle, and the feeling of privacy/exclusivity all served to create a weekend we will forever cherish.

We are forever grateful to Ginger and David for being an integral part of a weekend we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

From the moment we found this venue, we knew it was special. Our wedding day was absolutely beautiful and felt like something out of a dream. The owners were so kind, accommodating, and responsive throughout the entire process, and they truly made us feel taken care of.

Having lodging on-site was also such a wonderful convenience for our family and wedding party. Being able to stay together made the whole wedding weekend even more memorable.

We are so thankful we chose this venue and would happily recommend it to anyone looking for a beautiful, intimate, and truly magical place to celebrate their special day! ❤️

David and Ginger made the whole process so easy for us and truly just helped us in so many ways beyond what we expected. You will definitely feel well taken care of if you choose to have your wedding with them. They have done so much to make their venue into just the most beautiful, homey with modern touches get away for you and your guests to really enjoy your special day. I loved that I could have my reception there the night before, had room for our wedding party to stay the night, woke up and was able to make breakfast in the spacious kitchen, David and Ginger set the tables, chairs and speakers up for us and were on stand by if we needed help with anything at all. I loved having the wedding and reception at the same location it made the whole day flow so effortlessly. We enjoyed that this venue is also wheelchair accessible for our grandparents to have no issues getting around in their scooters. You should at least book a visit for the views alone. I could go on and on, but we just feel so blessed to have found Bent Mountain Lodge because we genuinely couldn't have handpicked a better place to come together and make such great memories during our wedding weekend.

We got married here in the spring and truly I wish I could do that weekend over and over. The lodge is breathtaking and the heart these owners have put into it sings in every detail. Ginger and David were so helpful and accommodating, too. When help was needed, they were there. When I didn’t know help was needed, they were also there. They made sure our family felt right at home and helped to make sure our wedding felt blissful. Would absolutely recommend.

Ginger and David are so kind and made my wedding weekend run as smooth as possible. They went above and beyond in making sure our tables and chairs stayed dry despite the fog during our ceremony, and even brought out porch warmers because the day was chilly. They also always promptly responded to all my emails and questions. It’s clear how much work they put into making the venue beautiful and clean for their couples! The view of the mountains is even more beautiful in person. I could not recommend their venue more.

The owners are both very nice people! They helped my husband and I alot! The venue they have is absolutely stunning, with mountains surrounding us! I am very happy we had this place as our venue, as we had our close friends and family staying in the lodge. I really appreciate everything David and Ginger have provided and what they have done for my husband and I! Absolutely amazing people with an amazing venue!

Bent Mountain Lodge was a perfect venue for our May 2025 wedding. Ginger and David were professional, helpful and kind. They were flexible with our needs and were gracious enough to let us visit the venue multiple times as our plans came together. They checked in with us regularly the day of and ensured we had everything we needed. The lodge itself is stunning and we couldn’t imagine a more beautiful place to say “I do” than among the Blue Ridge Mountains! We would highly recommend the venue to anyone and we are so grateful to the owners for a wonderful experience!

We couldn't have been happier with our decision to have our wedding at Bent Mountain Lodge. Ginger and David are so kind, attentive, helpful and accommodating - they made us feel right at home all weekend. I'd describe the lodge as a "choose-your-own-adventure" wedding venue - the perfect location for the DIY outdoorsy couple. The scenery is naturally beautiful so we didn't feel the need to go crazy with decorations, they have yard games for the young and old, and while there's plenty of space for dancing, the bonfire is a nice option to have for family and friends who might like to just sit back and relax and enjoy the view. The morning of our wedding we had light rain showers, but the option to move indoors gave us peace of mind. Also, we rented a sound system from a company in Roanoke that was closed on Sundays (the day we were on our way back to WV) and David went above and beyond by returning that for us. Bent Mountain Lodge in Copper Hill, VA, is an exceptional choice for a wedding venue. The owners are incredibly welcoming and attentive, ensuring every detail is perfect. The lodge itself is charming and well-maintained, providing a cozy yet elegant atmosphere for a beautiful wedding day. The standout feature, however, is the breathtaking views. Perched on a mountain, the venue offers panoramic vistas that create a stunning backdrop for wedding photos. My wife and I were married there in June 2024 and it was an excellent experience. We couldn't be more grateful to David and Ginger (the owners) for everything they did to make our wedding day magical. When we first started looking into wedding venues, I had no idea Bent Mountain lodge was an option. I'm so glad we found this gem of a venue because it delivered on everything that we could possibly need. Dressing rooms, a bachelor pad with a pool table, clean restrooms, a great kitchen area, and an excellent patio area for the reception. We received countless compliments on the venue and our out of town guests had a very comfy place to stay after the reception!
