Church & Temple Wedding Venues in Richmond

We were both very pleased with Steve the minister as well as the location. The ceremony was beautiful and well lit for photography. The church is over 100 years old and had a nice close knit feel to the day. Steve was very easy to work with and was great!

I found this sweet spot for our wedding where renovations were about to start in January 2018. Our wedding was November 2018 so we didn't have any issues and all renovations were done before our wedding. The staff were helpful and accommodating with our various questions. The space is large and other rooms are available if you need to be creative. Highly recommended to impress your guests and can hold large attendance. I especially went with Acca Shrine Center because they allowed outside catering, which saved money in the long haul.

A breathtaking and meaningful place to get married. Their guides for marriage preparation, paperwork requirements, and planning the ceremony were all thorough and informative, making it easier to pull off a complicated process. We had a great experience meeting with the liturgy & music coordinator, Daniel. He guided us through selecting elements of the ceremony while also ensuring it was personalized. Our coordinator Marie was very organized for the rehearsal and day-of. There was an event at the nearby theater, and we were able to start 5 minutes late to accomodate guests still trying to find parking. Photos in the afternoon light at our 2 pm ceremony also turned out great!

The church is oh so beautiful and I adored my wedding service. The reception was gorgeous due to the space we were allowed to use. The chapel and the altar guild flowers were breathtaking. I am so pleased with the loving staff at the church and the atmosphere of the day. It was a dream come true to have my wedding held there.

We had our Indian wedding at the Unity Center. We can't speak highly enough of Joanne and anybody else we interacted with at Unity. Joanne was incredibly responsive and really tried to go out of her way to make the day special for us, and to make it easy on us. She was incredibly flexible when working with our vendors -- she even offered to come and open the center late at night to meet with one of our vendors. After the ceremony, she went the extra mile and did the lion's share of the cleaning so that we could move on with the day and be with our family (we had flower petals everywhere). Besides the amazing service, the venue is awesome as well, and was perfect for what we needed. It came well-equipped with lighting and pro-audio sound systems. They also have a few different areas that you could rent, depending on what type of space you are looking for. We would not hesitate to recommend Unity.

This is my aunts church. They were good and they had fake flowers that we used for the wedding and that made it cheaper for us. they also let my family use the kitchen to cook the food. the carpet was not as clean as it should be but it only cost $100 donation to the church for everything

We love the simple beauty of this church and the pastor made it so easy for us.

The church is a beautiful space and one of the only non-denominational churches in Richmond that was within our budget! The colors inside are very vibrant and "old school Catholic". We ended up not decorating the inside of the church at all because of how much character it already had. Beth, who handles coordination for the church, was great and even helped us navigate an unexpected event which was planned for the same day as our wedding. It was extremely helpful to have keys/access to the church for the entire weekend. A few things to note: there is no sound system in the church if you plan to have music during your ceremony, and there is only one single stall bathroom for the church (keep in mind for long ceremonies or if you have guests driving from a far distance who may need the restroom prior to starting). Overall we had a great experience and plenty of space for our guests!
