We recently had our wedding at Wintergreen. It was a beautiful location with amazing customer service. Kierstin was incredibly helpful and responsive during the wedding planning process. I would not change a thing.

Wintergreen is absolutely amazing! It is the perfect place to host your wedding in the beautiful VA mountains. Kierstin and her team were incredble to work with -- their attention to detail and responsiveness to questions are truly unmatched. The whole process was seamless from start to finish, and that is thanks to the WG team. They went above and beyond to make our wedding day the most special for us and our families and friends who attended. The day of our wedding was spotty with weather, but the WG team offered us 2 setups for both inside and outside so that we could delay our rain call. That alleviated a lot of pressure on us to make a decision early on and was so thoughtful. We ended up getting married in the rain, and it was great. Look no further than Wintergreen if want to get married in the Blue Ridge. It will be a fantastic choice. We are thankful for this venue, Kierstin, and her team!

If you are looking for a mountain destination wedding venue, Wintergreen resort is the perfect place! We are from Ohio and were looking for a venue that our friends and family could stay and not worry about driving once the weekend wedding festivities started. The resort has many restaurants and activities to entertain guests. At the bottom of the mountain is miles of wineries and breweries to explore! The venue locations are stunning, especially the Blue Ridge Overlook and the Blue Ridge Terrace. Kierstin, the wedding sales manager, was amazing to work with. She was quick to communicate and made the wedding planning process easier. It ended up raining before our ceremony and Wintergreen was able to switch to the back up plan with no hesitation and it did not affect the timing of the wedding day! The Wintergreen staff, especially the hotel staff, were wonderful. The food and drinks were delicious. We cannot recommend this place enough for your wedding venue, Wintergreen Resort made our wedding weekend a dream!.

We loved our experience getting married at Wintergreen Resort! It was breathtakingly beautiful and a very reasonable price for everything included. They had an all-in-one package which included the ceremony, dinner, beverages, and were able to easily add transportation between the ceremony site and reception venue. Kierstin and the Wintergreen staff were so organized, friendly, responsive, and helpful. Definitely recommend getting married here!

The Wintergreen overlook left our guests breathless! It was extremely affordable to have the overlook as the ceremony site, and is what drew us to Wintergreen. The catering had lots of options and was very professional and delicious. Kierstin was amazing to work with and she was so accommodating to us when it came to the different ideas/layouts we were looking to do for the venue. We had the reception outside under the beautiful terrace lights that overlook the ski slopes. We can't thank Kierstin enough for making our experience with Wintergreen everything we hoped for!

The resort helped us with several events surrounding a small family wedding at a private home. They created a wonderful rehearsal dinner at the Mountain Inn and delivered brunch to the home on the morning after the wedding. The food was delicious and the staff was delightful to work with.

They did a great job giving us what we wanted at a very affordable price. Book the spa well ahead of time for hair and makeup, as it fills up and it's hard to find affordable hair and makeup willing to travel to the mountain.

Wintergreen is a wonderful wedding venue with unparalleled views, accommodations, and event spaces! We loved having our wedding there and our guests did too! We worked with both the former and current coordinators, Rhianon and Veronica, and both did a wonderful job. The current coordinator, Veronica, was very helpful and thoroughly answered my unending list of questions. Because there was turnover in the coordinator position, we did decide to hire a day-of-coordinator (Sara Kite, highly recommend!!) and Sara and Veronica worked very well together. As a couple planning long-distance, it was important for us to find a "one stop shop" venue where we didn't have to worry about all the little things (e.g., finding a food vendor, renting tables, chairs, linens, transportation, etc.). Most everything we needed was right there! It was nice that we were able to hold all of our events (rehearsal dinner, welcome party, etc.) at the resort and all our guests could stay onsite. We thought the food was pretty good- although, not surprisingly, it tasted better during the tasting than the actual event, but you certainly can't beat the convenience. Overall, transportation was great- it was nice to have shuttles available for guests and the wedding party. My biggest complaint, and even this is minor, is the chairs they have there are not pretty. They offer two options for chairs- red and blue/gray. The blue/gray matched our color scheme better and they charged us $350 to use them (because they had to be relocated from a different room.) We couldn't find a rental company to provide chairs 'up the mountain' on a holiday weekend so we bit the bullet. Hopefully Wintergreen will decide to upgrade their chair offerings very soon, but at the end of the day, no one remembers your chairs. They remember the beautiful views, great event spaces,and fun party. No one wanted the event to end, and so it was really nice that the bar upstairs "The Edge" stayed open an hour later so guests could continue enjoying themselves. Highly recommend for couples looking for convenience and beautiful mountain views!

We had a wonderful experience at Wintergreen for our wedding weekend. Everyone from Jamie at the front desk to David and his staff at the Devil's Grill was happy and accommodating, going out of their way to make sure we and all of our guest had a memorable experience. Everyone is still talking about it more than two weeks later. :) We had a welcome party Friday, ceremony/reception Saturday and a send off breakfast on Sunday. I highly recommend having your celebration here. We'll definitely be back to visit.

Veronica is fantastic to work with and did an amazing job of helping us with the wedding of our dreams. The ceremony view is unbelievable and the cocktail hour and reception venues were awesome as well. All of our guests loved wintergreen and made a vacation out of it. We are so thankful for this great experience and wonderful memories.
