I highly recommend having your wedding at Bay Creek! My wedding is still be talked about by my family! Baileigh and her team swooped in with only 50 days to my wedding date to help me move to their venue after my original venue was double-booked. They were professional, kind, patient, and took care of details I didn't even know existed. My guests were impressed with the beautiful setting and the food was wonderful!

I had been in contact with Victoria and from the start the communication was on point. The professionalism and integrity of the establishment was amazing. They truly are the great people who have the best intentions.

Words cannot express how awesome Ruthanne, Danielle and the rest of the Kiln Creek’s teams work ethic! Ruthanne stayed in contact with me throughout our wedding planning journey (she kept me on track!). I gave her my vision and the team executed it FLAWLESSLY! All of my guest were so impressed with the outcome and thankful to the staff for their presence and continuous support. Their patience was noticed and appreciated. You can have the wedding of your dreams here within your budget means like we did and it will turn out magically✨ Please come here to celebrate your special day. Kiln Creek is truly all-inclusive and it has been and forever will be my husband and I’s favorite place. Everyone is like family! After your wedding the memories don’t end when it comes to this place because you can always revisit that day with a stay on the resort or by having brunch or dinner at The Nest❤️ we don’t regret choosing Kiln Creek Golf!

Hidden Valley Country Club was the most perfect venue for our dream wedding. The beautiful mountains surrounding the Roanoke Valley made for the most amazing backdrop. The team at HVCC made the ballroom and cocktail lounge area look beautiful. We are so grateful for all of the hard work the HVCC team did to make our day amazing - especially Amanda H. Highly recommend using this venue! They are awesome!

To preface this, I want to mention that I worked in the events industry for 9 years at a very busy venue, on top of having spent over a decade in the theatre. So when I went into the wedding planning process 18 months before my wedding I had VERY specific ideas of what I was looking for and for the people I wanted involved. Ford's Colony met and exceeded those expectations by a mile. Kristen was warm and very detail oriented, and we clicked right away as I began the planning process with them. Then I met Natalie and WOW! She takes what she does seriously, pays SO much attention to every detail and genuinely cares about her clients. She also knows all the best spots to take the photographers too! The food was delicious, the bartenders friendly and poured a good drink, and all of the staff were inviting, kind, professional and helpful beyond measure. Given that this was a same-sex wedding, it was also very important to me to find a venue that was open minded and drama-free. Not once did I ever feel I got a sideways glance or odd look from anyone at Ford's Colony. The entire staff of the venue couldn't have been kinder, even when we over-ran their bar for pictures before they opened! No wedding is complete without its share of minor heart stopping moments, and ours was no different. But Natalie and Ford's Colony were professionalism itself from start to finish and never said "Oh no!" The only response to ANYTHING from them was "Ok, and this is what we are going to do." When I saw Natalie PERSONALLY trying to resew and fix the zipper on the DJ's dress after it broke before the ceremony I was floored, and KNEW I had chosen the right place. Many venues are beautiful, have amazing food, quality staff and a great feel. ONLY Ford's Colony and Natalie can and will deliver that, but SO much more. They have heart and passion for both what they do and the people they work with as well as their clients.

They’d soooo much I can say about James River Country Club 10 out of 10 definitely recommend we pick the spot because of the breathtaking view of a private beach that they have and then the inside is just a incredible as the outside it gives very elegant vibes and then the food TOP Notch I’m not a mushroom person but that mushroom ravioli, oh my God, best freaking thing I’ve had on top of all their other great choices of food that we picked for our dinner we had some of the best staff from Jo,Kristen,Rick and Conrad thanks for making my vision come to life

We are so happy we chose Brandermill for our wedding reception! It was affordable price for a very beautiful venue. We had never been to a country club and were originally thinking more "barn wedding," but Brandermill was actually much more convenient and affordable. And with 3 walls of windows and an outdoor pavilion, it still felt a little "outdoorsy" while also still being very elegant and sophisticated--the best of both worlds. We had lots of options as far as times, food, drinks, etc., which was very nice. We were able to host about 100 people in the ballroom with plenty of room to dance. Brandermill was the easiest vendor we dealt with. Molly is AMAZING! She responded to all of our questions via email quickly & thoroughly and was very accommodating with our requests for what we wanted. My husband (the groom) has severe dietary restrictions, and they were accommodating with that as well. Speaking of, the food was SO good! Molly and her team did an excellent job in the lead up and on the day of our wedding, taking care of every detail! Everything ran very smoothly and we really felt taken care of. The reception was beautiful, we had a great time, and we are very grateful!! P.S. Sorry for the black-out of the watermark (we have permission to share the photos but can't download more than a certain amount before a certain date for whatever reason). Also, the interior photos were taken before everything was fully set up.

Independence was the best venue we could have chosen! Their catering and bar staff and service made our day so easy and reliable, and the events and coordinating team cannot be beat! Megan and her team were available for any and every question that came up during the entire wedding planning process and made the entire process a breeze. The on site air bnbs were perfect for our bridal party. We can not recommend Independence enough!

My daughter was thrilled to have her "fairy tale" wedding. Her ceremony was at a historic church in the area and the reception at Colonial Heritage. Working with the CH team was a great experience. My daughter lives in Italy and we now live in Ohio, so long distance planning required excellent communication and coordination on the part of CH staff. Corey and Cathy are knowledgable event planners and offered excellent suggestions. We did have a timing mishap the morning of the wedding that, in the moment, seemed like a big deal. Corey handled the matter promptly and professionally and it quickly became a non-issue. Excellent customer service! Corey is high energy and personable and helped us keep things on track during the ceremony. If we still lived in Williamsburg, I would consider CH for other events - they have lovely party rooms that would be great for a family reunion or anniversary party.

We were thrilled to work with Desirae on our wedding reception. Every detail was perfect and the planning was phenomenal as we live 200 miles away!. From The preparatory foods/drinks for our wedding party in the morning to the scrumptious meal prepared for our guests at night- the staff was terrific- professional and accommodating. Kudos to the Dominion Club. We are looking for another reason to party there!
