History
The land on which Boar's Head Resort rests was a part of Virginia's first land grant, which took place in 1734. On October 31st, 1989 it was acquired by the University of Virginia Foundation as both a gift and a purchase.

Nestled at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains, Boar's Head Resort is located minutes from the University of Virginia and two hours from Washington, D.C.
