What is the story behind The Dominion Club?
A country-club-themed wedding venue in Glen Allen, Virginia, our club is located in the West End of Richmond, near the heart of Short Pump Town Center, one of the area’s most trendy and popular shopping and dining destinations. Founded in 1992, The Dominion Club services couples in Glen Allen, Virginia Beach, Charlottesville, and Washington, DC.
Boasting over 28,000 square feet, The Dominion Club accommodates a maximum of 220 guests and offers 3 event spaces with breathtaking waterfront views. Our clubhouse looks out over Wyndham Lake, a picture-perfect setting for your outdoor/ indoor Wedding Ceremony and Reception. It is our pleasure to assist you throughout the process & we appreciate the opportunity to serve you on your special day.

Desirae was amazing, a consummate professional in wedding planning! From my first interaction with her at the food tasting, I knew we were in good hands! Her ability to guide and direct were on full display the day of the wedding. Every aspect went smoothly, her team was all very friendly and readily available to help and assist with any last minute request. After a month, we are still receiving compliments from our guest about the venue, the food, the wedding and their experience at the club. If we could rate our experience with 1000 stars, we would! She made sure everything ran smoothly, allowing us to just enjoy our day. If you’re looking for a stunning venue that takes the stress out of wedding planning, this is it!

Our wedding was beautiful from start to finish. The planning process, seamless. Desirae took care of everything. The little details that we forgot about it, Desirae had it covered. Our vision for our special day came to life and we didn’t have to worry about anything! She listened to want we wanted, what we didn’t want, she understood and provide advisement for things we didn’t understand. We didn’t have to stress about anything because we knew Desirae had it under control. Desirae was professional and personable.
The food! Phenomenal. The menu options were plentiful but not overwhelming. The staff were all thoughtful and thorough. My family and guest still talk about our wedding to this day! If I could relive this day over I would a million times. I am forever grateful to Desirae for taking such special care of us and our family. She truly made our day rememberable in the best way! I recommend TDC to anyone and everyone I can!
