The Club at Glenmore

We held our wedding at The Club at Glenmore in Spring 2025, and we were so happy with Glenmore as a venue! We were looking for a close-to-all-inclusive venue to minimize how many different vendors we'd need to work with, and we were so glad to find that in Glenmore.

We were especially happy with the events manager, Kim Hayden, and the serving staff. Kim stayed in close communication with us and our wedding coordinators from booking to the end of our event, and she had a calm, caring demeanor throughout the wedding. When a guest had a minor medical emergency, Kim was discreet but responsive, quickly helping to ensure the guest was able to rest and enjoy dinner in the cool clubhouse (it was a warm day!) after he had been checked out. She was a professional and fun presence throughout the process.

The venue ensured our wedding was well-staffed, and we really enjoyed that everyone on the serving staff was so pleasant, friendly, and attentive. We also had great feedback from our guests about the food. Chef Frederick hit it out of the park with all of our dishes, and he was so flexible for guests' dietary needs. We were impressed with how well everything was cooked even with a buffet style meal and truly did get a lot of compliments from guests about the meal.

We went with the Pavilion for our reception, with our ceremony on the 10th Tee and our cocktail hour in the green space between. The space ended up being really perfect for us - throughout cocktail hour and the reception, guests were on the dance floor or resting in the Pavilion, seated around the two fire pits in adirondack chairs, playing yard games, or checking out the nice view of the green, so there was something for everyone and plenty of space for our guests to enjoy.

We would choose to work with Glenmore again if we could go back in time! Definitely a crowd-pleasing venue with a lot to offer.

We had our wedding at The Club at Glenmore on October 10, 2026, and couldn’t have asked for a better experience! The venue provided everything we needed for a seamless, stress-free day. The bridal suite was spacious and perfect for getting ready, and there were separate rooms for the groom and groomsmen to relax and prepare as well.
The staff was incredibly friendly, professional, and efficient throughout the entire day. Our coordinator was especially helpful, organized, and responsive throughout the planning process, which made such a difference in helping everything come together. The chef was also wonderful about accommodating dietary restrictions, and the food was absolutely delicious!
The setting was breathtaking, with beautiful mountain views. We had our outdoor ceremony on the 10th tee box of the golf course, followed by cocktail hour in the open-air pavilion, which was the perfect way to enjoy the scenery with our guests. The full-service experience made everything feel effortless, and we truly appreciated how well everything was handled from start to finish.
We would highly recommend The Club at Glenmore to any couple looking for a beautiful venue, amazing food, and a team that genuinely cares about making your wedding day special. We are so grateful we chose this venue for our wedding and couldn’t recommend it more!

Kim and Sierra went above and beyond to make my wedding day truly unforgettable. From the very beginning they were extremely responsive, attentive, and genuinely invested in making sure everything went smoothly. They offered thoughtful ideas and helpful feedback throughout the planning process which made everything feel easy and well supported.
On the day of the wedding every detail was handled seamlessly from coordination to setup allowing me to fully enjoy the moment without stress or worry. The flow of the day felt effortless and everything came together more beautifully than I could have imagined.
The venue itself was absolutely stunning. The view, food, and overall layout created such a warm and elegant atmosphere that truly impressed all of our guests. Everything was picture perfect.

We recently hosted our daughter's wedding welcome party at The Club at Glenmore in their outside gazebo. It was just truly exceptional! The venue's stunning views, elegant atmosphere, and impeccable service created an unforgettable experience. The staff were attentive and accommodating, ensuring every detail was handled. Guests couldn't stop raving about the beautiful setting, cozy fire pits, and delicious food. I would also like to make a shout out to Kim Hayden for being the absolute best and treated us with such kindness. From start to finish, the event was seamless, making it the perfect start to our wedding weekend. Highly recommend The Club at Glenmore for your special occasion.

Kim Hayden was amazing to work with. Kim thought of (and remembered) every detail I told her. She was 100% on board with my vision and made it happen. I was able to use my own china which I had collected for my special day. We got married on the 10th Green, had the cocktail hour under the Pavilion and then our reception was in the Ballroom. The Glenmore had a champagne wall for my use, linens, lanterns, bars, and even candle holders. We added some of our own touches, but Glenmore is full service. From the prosecco wall, the the lighted hedge behind our cake, to putting our printed menus in the perfect spot. Our wedding was perfection. The views are phenomenal. The food was delicious - we served buffet style to make sue of my china and the kitchen did it all right. We had plated salads (tomato and mozzarella) then buffet steak, shrimp in grits, gnocchi with vegetables, roasted potatoes and asparagus. Everything was amazing. The Glenmore was so accommodating. They let us add a sparkling rose and rose to our wine choices - which felt so right with our theme. They had a hedge to put behind our cake table, which we added a personalized sign to, flowers and fairy lights. Glenmore let us have a photo booth in the ball room lobby, and we used their gorgeous farm tables to set out framed photos and favors. I had the absolute best time at my wedding. I highly recommend the Glenmore as a venue. It has gorgeous views, super friendly staff, they are diligent and 100% know how to throw a wedding. I have no regrets entrusted them with my special day and I have the absolute best memories. Thank you Kim and Molly!

We held my son's rehearsal dinner here in October 2024, and from start to finish, we were thrilled with the venue, the food, and the staff. Kim, the event coordinator, made sure that everything went exactly as we had envisioned it, and all of the guests were complimentary of the beautiful view and the wonderful dinner. Thank you for making this such a special event for us!

Jack and I could not have imagined a better venue for our wedding than The Club at Glenmore in Keswick, Virginia. Growing up in Charlottesville, I knew that I wanted to get married in my hometown. Wineries are a popular choice in Charlottesville, but they are mostly located in the surrounding counties which require a long drive from hotels. Winery weddings can also require coordinating a lot of rentals (decor, tables, chairs, etc.) and finding a caterer. After researching all of the venues around Charlottesville, we chose The Club at Glenmore or many reasons.

One, the beautiful and convenient location. Glenmore was conveniently located only about 10 minutes from our hotel block on Pantops which made it easy for guests and shuttles. Even though the location is close to town, it is situated inside a beautiful gated neighborhood with views of the mountains, rolling horse pastures, and well maintained golf course. So it feels like it's out in the country without actually being that far away from town!

Two, the full service. Glenmore provides so much for its couples! It has an amazing on-site chef so we did not need to find a separate catering company. This was one of our main deciding factors! Couples even do the food & wine tasting at the venue which makes for a fun day trip :) Glenmore provides all of the ceremony chairs, reception chairs, tables, glassware, serving ware, flatware, etc. So we did not need to rent anything except purchase some decorations. Speaking of decorations, Glenmore has many decor pieces that we were able to use! They have arbors, prosecco walls, a boxwood wall for photo opps, votive candle and holders, charger plates, up-lights, bistro lights, etc.

Three, the amenities. Getting ready spaces, ceremony locations, cocktail terrace, reception ballroom - Glenmore has it all! Glenmore has a beautiful bridal suite that the ladies in my bridal party were able to use all morning. The bridal suite has plenty of room to get ready in, hang dresses in, store decor in, and even take pictures in. There is a separate space downstairs where the guys can get ready in too! We all enjoyed spending the morning and early afternoon together in these spaces while eating breakfast and lunch prepared for by Glenmore! The space was also convenient for our vendors too. They could come and check in with me throughout the morning since I was getting ready on-site. There are many ceremony locations to choose from if you want your ceremony at Glenmore. We actually switched our ceremony location within about 2 weeks of the wedding and Glenmore was very accommodating with this switch. Finally, the beautiful ballroom was another major deciding factor for us. We had our wedding in the summer, so we knew we wanted to have the reception indoors in an air conditioned room.

Four, the staff. Glenmore takes pride in providing top notch service to its clients. Kim, the event coordinator at Glenmore, helped us so much from start to finish. She walked us through the wedding process, answered the many questions we had, worked with all of our vendors, met with us for our tasting and walkthroughs, made sure that all of our requests were met, and coordinated the entire Glenmore team on our wedding day.

If you are looking for a beautiful full-service wedding venue with everything including an amazing on-site caterer, top notch staff, convenient location, and gorgeous views, Glenmore is the place for you!!

We couldn't have imagined a more perfect location to host our wedding cocktail hour and reception. Not only was the Glenmore staff accommodating, attentive, professional, and kind, but I sincerely feel like they went above and beyond (both before and during my wedding) to make our day special. From the beautiful bridal suite to the delicious food (really... their chef is fantastic!), Glenmore provided the perfect setting for a Charlottesville-area wedding. We would use them again in a heartbeat!

I don't give 5 stars often (always room for improvement, you know?), but I do for The Club at Glenmore! We had our wedding here and our day couldn't have been better imagined.
Kim is the most thoughtful, professional, and helpful woman. She makes it all seem so effortless, and even with the "what if" scenarios we came up with she always had a plan! She worked SO well with our vendors and if anything went wrong I had no clue about it!
The chef and kitchen staff really outdid themselves too! The food was perfection, no one had anything negative to say about it, and so many went for seconds and thirds there was nothing left. You can tell they put their hearts and souls into their jobs and that's hard to find customer service like that now a days.
The flow of the day was so smooth and I'm sure there were countless others behind the scenes assisting and each one helped us stay stress free and present during our big day!
The pavilion and ballroom are spacious and beautiful we hardly felt the need to decorate.

The Club at Glenmore provided the perfect venue for our rehearsal dinner for 50 people. I would like to express my heartfelt gratitude for the outstanding job that Stacy Burleson, the Event Sales Manager, did in planning and executing our rehearsal dinner.

The decor of the venue was stunning; the nice new deck allowed us to enjoy the beautiful view of the golf course; and the coordination of all the elements, from the seating arrangements to the delicious menus, were flawless. Stacy and the team worked diligently to ensure that everything ran smoothly, which allowed us to relax and fully enjoy this special occasion with our loved ones and friends.

The Rivanna Room is big enough to comfortably accommodate 50 people with the Open Bar and Tee / Coffee Station moved to the adjacent room. The brand new deck, which was in exclusive use for the rehearsal dinner guests, provided ample additional space for the guests to socialize outdoors. The soft background music created warm and welcoming atmosphere.

The food was an absolute delight!
We started the event with multiple appetizers of stuffed mushrooms, ham biscuits, spanakopita, chicken wraps, shrimp cocktail, and beef tenderloin crostini. The main dishes included two options: beef short rib and spinach / tomato stuffed chicken breast. The presentation of the food was as impressive as the taste. Also, we were allowed to bring our own ethnic cakes, and Stacy surprised the bride and the groom with the cake cutting at the rehearsal dinner.

This evening set the perfect tone for the joyous celebration to come. We will wholeheartedly recommend The Club at Glenmore and Stacy to anyone looking for a beautiful venue and a talented and reliable event planner. It truly exceeded our expectations.
