Incredible Wedding Venue with Amazing In-House Coordinator
The Dominion Club and its amazing wedding coordinator, Desirae, brought our wedding dreams to life for the most magical day! I can’t recommend this venue and team enough. From beginning, middle, and end, we were so well taken care of on such a personal level. The attention to detail, provided seating, linens, cake stand, card box, and perfectly cooked wedding meals, The Dominion Club enables you to bring your wedding vision to life in a seamless way. The gratitude I have towards Desirae, Hope, and the rest of the team at Dominion Club is overwhelming. We were guided and supported each step of our engagement and the wedding day was executed beyond my expectations.

Phenomenal Reception
We were thrilled to work with Desirae on our wedding reception. Every detail was perfect and the planning was phenomenal as we live 200 miles away!. From The preparatory foods/drinks for our wedding party in the morning to the scrumptious meal prepared for our guests at night- the staff was terrific- professional and accommodating.
Kudos to the Dominion Club. We are looking for another reason to party there!

Spring Wedding
We had the most perfect day celebrating our marriage at the Dominion Club. It was entirely beautiful and stress-free from start to finish. The value here is incredible because the venue includes so much in their packages, it truly makes the planning process easy and straightforward.
A huge part of our positive experience was working with Desirae, the coordinator. She is absolutely lovely—so communicative, flexible, and genuinely helpful throughout the entire process. Awesome expierence!
We used The Dominion Club for our wedding and could not recommend it more. The indoor and outdoor spaces were both beautiful, and it was the perfect amount of space for our guest count of ~110. The food was delicious and received lots of compliments from our guests, and the bar was also a huge hit. Overall, it was a great wedding space, and we were so happy with our experience.

The perfect wedding venue!
I can’t recommend having your wedding at The Dominion Club enough! It was an incredible experience and our coordinator, Desirae, made it all easy and stress-free.
One of the biggest reasons we initially liked TDC because of how all-inclusive it was - linens, table decor, venue decor, catering, bartending, getting ready rooms for the bridal party, the beautiful building and grounds - so we didn’t have to coordinate and juggle a ton of different vendors. What really set them apart was the quality and level of detail of the service they provided. They provide food and snacks for the morning and lunch if you’re getting ready at the venue. They save some of the hors d’oeuvres from the cocktail hour and bring the couple to a quiet room for some quality time at the end of the cocktail hour and before being announced for the reception (including your favorite drink). They have the sparkler send off at the end of the night with the option for a moonlight dance beforehand. So many little things that just set them apart to create a truly wonderful experience.
The food was also incredible. We had the filet mignon and miso salmon, both of which were delicious. The filet was perfectly cooked to medium and was so tender it could be cut with a butter knife.
Everyone we interacted with was extremely professional, but we can’t say enough about Desirae! She communicates so well and was so helpful - when we needed assistance or advice, her knowledge and experience really shone through. When we overlooked any details, she was there to remind us and help us make decisions. When we needed something the day of, she made it happen with a smile. She was always calm, cool, and collected, ensuring everything ran smoothly.
I could keep going on and on but the bottom line is, this is the perfect place to have your wedding!

She Got Moore!
Planning a wedding is overwhelming so we decided to take it one step at a time. We started with searching for a venue. We saw pictures of TDC and were in awe. So we set up a walk through. When we arrived at our initial walkthrough we were amazed at how immaculate and breathtaking the venue was in person. From there we met with Desirae and knew we did not need to look any further.
Our wedding was beautiful from start to finish. The planning process, seamless. Desirae took care of everything. The little details that we forgot about it, Desirae had it covered. Our vision for our special day came to life and we didn’t have to worry about anything! She listened to want we wanted, what we didn’t want, she understood and provide advisement for things we didn’t understand. We didn’t have to stress about anything because we knew Desirae had it under control. Desirae was professional and personable.
The food! Phenomenal. The menu options were plentiful but not overwhelming. The staff were all thoughtful and thorough. My family and guest still talk about our wedding to this day! If I could relive this day over I would a million times. I am forever grateful to Desirae for taking such special care of us and our family. She truly made our day rememberable in the best way! I recommend TDC to anyone and everyone I can!

We had our wedding here Sept 13th and it was amazing! The whole process from start to finish was seamless and thorough! Desirae was our coordinator and she was the best! She was professional and responded to any questions we had quickly! She made sure everyone was where they needed to be and everything went according to plan! The food was also great, we opted for buffet style with the braised short ribs, stuffed chicken and crab cakes w/ collards and mashed potatoes! All the guest raved about the food! If you want an outstanding venue that checks all the boxes, The Dominion Club is for you!

Rehearsal Dinner Wow!
We held my sons Rehearsal Dinner for 70 at TDC and the experience from start to finish was outstanding. The planning, the food, the facilities were just all wonderful. The staff was so kind and friendly and especially attentive to their job. We would highly recommend utilizing TDC for your event. Family and friends said the rehearsal dinner was so special it could have been the wedding. That's the care that was taken for our evening. Again, highly recommend!

Gorgeous venue and amazing staff!
My family and I greatly appreciated the outstanding service provided by The Dominion Club staff for our daughter's engagement celebration. However, I could not have decorated this successful and beautiful venue without Desirae Miller! No matter how big or how small my request was, she made it happen! Desirae’s presence before, during, and after the event was truly valued! Her approachability made us feel like she was part of our family. Her ability to accommodate our requests and ensure our seamless decor setup was impressive. Moreover, she made our guests feel very welcome, which we are truly thankful for. Desirae’s dedication to meeting our needs and delivering on all promises was outstanding! This venue is absolutely stunning! You are given the option to decorate the two front entrances and let’s just say we took advantage of that. I highly recommend you do this! The “Bridal Suite” was breathtaking and Desirae even provided assistance for our future bride in there as needed! The food was delicious! The indoor temperature was perfect. We will never forget our magical night at The Dominion Club. Lastly, we also loved how beautiful the patio areas were setup.

The Most Magical Day – Thanks to The Dominion Club & Desirae!
We could not have asked for a more perfect wedding day, and so much of that is thanks to The Dominion Club and our incredible coordinator, Desirae.
From the very beginning, the venue took our breath away—beautiful, elegant, and thoughtfully laid out. But what truly made the experience unforgettable was the care, professionalism, and attention to detail that Desirae and the team brought to every step of the process.
Desirae went above and beyond from start to finish. She handled every little detail with such grace and ease—even jumping in with an enthusiastic “I got it!” whenever something needed to be done. She held my dress, helped with the doors (even caught in a great photo doing it!), drove the golf cart, and made sure everything ran exactly on time. She truly made me feel calm, cared for, and confident that everything was in good hands—and it was.
The food was delicious, the setup was stunning, and everything flowed so smoothly that we were able to be fully present and enjoy every moment. I’ve heard nothing but praise from our guests—and my mom is still talking about how wonderful Desirae was!
We are so thankful to have chosen The Dominion Club. It was the best decision we could’ve made, and I would recommend this team a thousand times over to any couple planning their big day.

Perfect Venue for a Perfect Day!
Desirae and the entire team at The Dominion Club work tirelessly to ensure every detail (no matter how small) is absolutely perfect for your special day! We planned a small wedding in about 8 months with regular communication, check-ins, and meetings with Desirae to capture all of the information and vision for our wedding.
While it ended up raining on our wedding day, we sincerely appreciated being about to make a weather decision day-of the wedding. Desirae tracked the weather, provided us all of the information we needed to be able to make an informed decision. Forecasts were going back and forth on the possibility of rain all week and even on our wedding day so we decided to play it same and move the ceremony and cocktail hour indoors. What happened next was nothing short of Mary Poppins magic as the team eagerly got to work transforming the inside space and it turned out absolutely beautiful! The ceremony/dinner space is a gorgeous two-story room with a candlelit balcony covered in draped fabrics and enhanced with our florals (Desirae was able to coordinate with the florists to pivot and use our outdoor decorations inside seamlessly!).
The food at the Dominion Club is spectacular! Guests were so blown away by the options and how tasty all of the offerings were.
We got so many compliments on our venue choice, the food, and how eager all staff was to assist us and our guests. I cannot recommend Desirae and the team at the Dominion Club more!

We looked at several options and The Dominion Club was the obvious choice for us considering what they offer. We worked with Hope, Desirae and Megan through the entire process and it was stress free and professional the whole way. The day of the wedding, they were clear with instructions, flexible to accommodate last minute changes, and made sure we were taken care of the whole day. Lastly, I'll say that our guests loved the venue and we received nothing but positive reviews. Across the board they get five stars and we are grateful for helping us deliver an amazing day.

We really enjoyed The Dominion Club venue for our wedding in Oct 2024. It was very affordable and the space is elegant and conveniently located. I was able to do my ceremony outside under the beautiful pergola and took sunset pictures out by the lake. Desirae and Megan were extremely helpful in answering all our questions and/or concerns. They both helped our night run smoothly and kept the timeline on track. I really appreciate all their effort in making my day special! What a great place to get married!!

Truly Thankful
As with most couples finding the right place is a very daunting task. My wife and I went to many places but nothing felt right and there were so many things we still had to keep up with. Then one day we found the Dominion Club. We set up an appointment with Hope and from the start we knew we found the right place. The amount of options they offer really help take the stress off of such an amazing moment in life. As we got closer to the wedding date we starting getting help from Desirae with the planning portion. She was such a huge help Wland we couldn't have done it without her. Finally the big day arrived and WOW were they on their game. We literally had no worries. I have never felt so at home. They really made sure we had a one of a kind experience. Each and every member of the Dominion Club staff was amazing. Thank you for all the help and the amazing day my wife and I will never forget.

The most incredible wedding ever. Every communication was professional and prompt. Desirae was an absolute delight to work with. The bride was living in Rhode Island and my son is about 2 hours from TDC and Desirae went out of her way to accommodate all of the different schedules. Elegant space and attentive service
Hope and Desirae were a delight to work with! We had multiple last minute changes to our guest count and table arrangements, but Desirae took care of everything for us. Even the day of, the Dominion Club staff made sure everyone was happy and fed throughout the day! Our wedding day will be a day that we will cherish forever. My husband and I have talked at length about the level of professionalism and attention to detail displayed by Desirae and Hope leading up to our wedding and our wedding day. They did it all from answering our many phone calls and emails to fixing a wardrobe malfunction. The service staff at The Dominion Club ensured that my husband and I were well taken care of throughout dinner and the reception. They also worked to ensure all our guests were fed in a timely manner. Lastly, the food was delicious. The chicken and waffles were a fan favorite. Again, we are truly grateful for the staff at The Dominion Club. I highly recommend TDC for your next function.

The Dominion Club - Can NOT be beat for your wedding day reception
The Dominion Club was hands down the greatest venue for a wedding reception from start to finish. What was most important for our wedding was 1. Ample space for two sets of large families 2. Great value for foods/drinks 3. Location in RVA that is close by lodging for out-of-town guests and 4. Staff and facilities that can guide us through the planning process. The Dominion Club met and exceeded our expectations in all of these. The Dominion Club manages and handles many of the wedding planning tasks and details for the day, which includes full dining packages/setting layouts, day-of coordination staff, and much more. They even have a list of wonderful vendors for other aspects of the reception that we were able to choose from - saving us plenty of planning woes. This all contributed to a smooth procession and an amazing reception. If all of this sounds too good to be true, do yourself a favor and check out The Dominion Club for yourself - it was the best choice we made for our wedding reception!

The Dominion Club is Fantastic!
The Dominion Club has it all, and we had an AMAZING experience. From the initial tour to our big day, everything was organized and detailed. The space was incredible, the staff was so friendly and efficient, and the food was absolutely delicious. (Yes, we actually ate at our wedding, and the staff made sure we did!) The ceremony space is stunning, loved the outside cocktail hour space, and that beautiful rotunda is perfect. The dance floor fits TONS of people, plus a band! We loved making our entrances into the reception on the grand staircase, it felt like something out of a movie. Definitely hop into the golf cart and take pictures at the gazebo, it's so worth it! Hope and Emily were fantastic to work with, and made sure everyone was taken care of from the moment we walked in on our wedding day, to our exit. The whole staff was calming, kind, and organized. I can’t recommend the Dominion Club enough!

The retirement party was a huge success. All of our guests had a blast.
We held a retirement party at TDC and Hope helped us with all of the details. She had great food suggestions and also added personal touches to make our party come together nicely.

This was a one stop shop to all my wedding requirements; this all-inclusive venue was perfect with recommended vendors for your dress, florist, cake and DJ. Fabulous Experience!
WOW! Ellen Fatigati & her team were so professional and accommodating! The food was fabulous, the venue was fabulous and the service was fabulous! During the covid challenge, I appreciate the way TDC worked with us! Their ability to pivot was key! This Mother of the Bride was so very impressed! Best Venue Ever
My daughter was married on June 26th and it was the perfect day. The weather was beautiful for the outside ceremony and cocktail hour. The tables were perfectly set as we had requested. Sara the coordinator on site was amazing paying close attention to every detail from 8 that morning to 11 that night. She made sure my daughter’s dress was properly bustled to making sure my dad had only chicken instead of chicken and steak for his meal to everything running on the schedule we had planned. The venue which is newly renovated is stunning. Our guest could not say enough good things about the venue, the service and the food. I can’t say enough about Sara and her staff. As the mom of the bride, I can’t think of one thing I would change or improve on. To top it off there was a beautiful rainbow that evening.

stunning venue in richmond, va
Just had our wedding at the Dominion Club 4.10.21 after rescheduling from 2020 with a different venue. Sara and Ellen were incredibly helpful through the entire wedding planning process and eased all of our (specifically my mother's) anxieties about Virginia wedding restrictions and protocols. We had a perfect wedding day from start to finish. They were very accommodating and made everything so easy. Got ready on site, had bridal and groom suites, very large open ballroom for a sit down dinner, sparkler exit, they literally covered all the bases. The food is AMAZING (everyone raved about the pesto pasta), the chef even came out to say hi to everyone while we were taking pictures outside. The venue has recently been renovated so it is stunning inside and out. Beautiful outdoor ceremony area. I can't say enough about this place! Thank you to Sara and Ellen for making our wedding dreams finally come true!!

Magic Makers
We could not have been happier with our wedding on September 6, 2020!! The Dominion Club was the MVP of our day.
We live in northern Virginia but met in Richmond. When we got engaged, we looked at wedding venues from DC to Richmond and everywhere in between. The Dominion Club stood out to us for its beautiful ceremony and reception spaces, suburban location, proximity to a busy city that would make a fun weekend for all, GREAT food, and maybe most of all the people.
On our first visit, we had a tour from Phyllis. She was so warm and hospitable, and seemed like a family member wanting us to have a beautiful wedding while also having some money left over for that down payment on a house 😂 her tour was unlike the others we had - she walked us through the entire day, from the bridal suite to sparkler exit, complete with a walk down the aisle and a pause at the alter. She was so confident in their chef, we came back the next day for a mini-tasting - we were sold. We put all of our trust in the Dominion Club!
Leading up to the wedding, we were lucky to be working with Genevieve - she was so experienced, calm, and incredibly quick to respond to every email with impressive warmth and charm in her quick responses. She put together a detailed BEO that covered everything we wouldn't have thought of, like when to bring out champagne for the toasts and how to fold the napkins. She also had awesome recommendations that helped us round out our vendor team.
When COVID-19 hit, we had to postpone our wedding from May to September. We are so grateful to Genevieve and TDC for going every step of the way with us through all the uncertainty and doing so with empathy, promptness, and honesty. While we heard horror stories from our engaged friends of their venues threatening to throw out anyone they deem is not acting appropriately and also charging fines per person, we were so grateful to be working with a venue that had integrity like TDC.
When the day came, we were amazed at all the precautions they took with PPE, hand sanitizer, signage, and additional staff to ensure a safe event. We truly can't thank them enough - we wouldn't have had a wedding without them. And, we received SO many compliments from our guests on the beautiful space and the food!
If you want the best day ever, have your wedding at the Dominion Club!!

Memorable Event
We chose this venue because it could accommodate our guest list. Our wedding was scheduled for April 4, 2020 but COVID threw a wrench in our date so we were married on July 3, 2020. Our guest list dwindled in half but the venue was extremely accommodating. Genevieve was awesome and made sure that we had everything that we needed. I would high recommend this venue just make sure you have a day of coordinator because you will need it

Amazing Place!
My husband and I just had our wedding on October 9, 2020. Genevieve was amazing to work with and was so accommodating. The floral arrangements, coordinating of the vendors and wedding day timeline that Genevieve organized was perfect. The food was great and The Dominion Club is absolutely beautiful- our guests kept complimenting how wonderful everything was. Amazing venue!
Our wedding was held at the Dominion Club on 10.2.2020. It was the best night of your life, and we want to do it all over again! The Dominion Club is a beautiful venue, has an amazing view, the food is delicious and they have a wonderful staff. Genevieve was our wedding coordinator. She was absolutely amazing, we owe it all to her. Genevieve is kind, responsive, respectful, and made our vision come to life. She was patient, and held us decide on a lot of details for the reception. Genevieve was always calm, cool and collected. We loved her and put all our trust into her that night. She was amazing, and we couldn’t thank her enough!

Phyllis, Genevieve, and the whole TDC team made the wedding planning process an absolute breeze. They were insightful, flexible, and detail oriented without being overwhelming. Better than my dream wedding
When I hired my vendors
I did not know how everything would come together but Liza and Phyllis at TDC pulled everything together and made everything literally perfect. Liza is literally a miracle worker on the day of the wedding she told me not to worry about anything and relax (I’m a control freak so I needed to see) but I went in the bridal suite and when I came out for the wedding everything was literally better than I could have imagined it. Every single thing was perfect. It was beautiful, the food was delicious and I’m just so grateful for the experience at TDC.

Wouldn't change a thing!
We got married at the Dominion Club this past December and everything was perfect. What we loved most about the Club was everything that they had available for us to use - it truly is an all inclusive venue! We initially had the idea of getting married outside (I know, sounds crazy for a December wedding) but due to rain moved the ceremony inside. At first I was a little nervous to do the ceremony inside because it wasn't what I had envisioned initially, but it was perfect! All of our guests got a fantastic view of the ceremony, and everyone raved about how intimate it felt! The food was absolutely delicious - we are still getting compliments on it! Liza and Phyllis were fantastic to work with. Before the wedding, they were both involved in the entire planning process and were always very prompt with communication. The day of the wedding, they made sure that everything that we wanted or needed was taken care of and made sure that the entire night ran smoothly. They made a great team and whenever I needed something Liza or Phyllis was there! Our wedding was absolutely everything we envisioned it to be and owe it all to the Dominion Club and their fantastic staff!

The Best Wedding Venue!
The Dominion Club was the first venue I looked at and the last. I booked them and knew it was the perfect venue without even going to see the other venues I had planned on visiting! Not only is the venue absolutely gorgeous, inside and outside, but it is a one-stop-shop, which took away the stress of finding additional vendors and all the costly wedding décor. They even supply sparklers for the send off! I loved how you could have the ceremony inside or outside, which also took the stress away of potential bad weather. Not only is it gorgeous and they supply almost everything, but the food was incredible as well. I am still getting compliments on it! Phyllis and Liza are the event coordinators there and I cannot say enough good things about the both of them! They were both involved in the whole planning process and were both there the day of the wedding to make sure everything was perfect and running smoothly. They were in constant communication with us and allowed us to visit the venue whenever we wanted. TDC exceeded our expectations and made our wedding a night we will never forget. I highly recommend booking with them! You will not regret it!

Perfect Venue for our Dream Wedding!
I can't say enough positive things about The Dominion Club. I initially found TDC online and booked a tour, but wasn't sure about the idea of getting married at a country club. My mind was totally changed when we visited for the first time! TDC is beautiful, elegant, and not stuffy like I imagine a country club would be. The space is perfect for an indoor/outdoor wedding. We were blessed with great weather, so we were able to get married outside and have the reception inside (which is what I wanted before even getting engaged!). We had the bar on the patio, which made TDC feel even more spacious. The wedding coordinator we originally worked with left a few months before our wedding, so we were slightly worried when we heard about that, but we shouldn't have given it a second thought because Liza and Phyllis are amazing. They are a great team and between the two of them, we had everything we ever wanted on our special day. Last but not least, the food was AMAZING! Our guests are still talking about how delicious it was. Thank you, TDC, for making our day everything we wanted it to be!

I don’t know how to say enough good things about this venue. My husband and I had the best day of our lives at The Dominion Club. It can only be described as ‘magical’! From start to finish, every staff member was a pleasure to work with. They made planning our wedding easy and fun. I love that it is an all-inclusive venue, it really simplifies things. Not to mention the food is amazing! The value for the money is unbeatable! They are a well-oiled machine communicating back and forth with each other over their headsets all day to ensure everything runs smoothly. They thought of everything, every single detail was covered. They did a phenomenal job of decorating and when I walked in on the wedding day, it literally took my breath away. It was even better than I ever could have envisioned. On the day of the wedding I felt like a celebrity. I had my own attendant to fluff my dress, and make sure I had everything I needed. At one point, my shoes got mud on them and she got down and scrubbed them off for me. I was blown away at how attentive she and the rest of the staff were. We definitely got spoiled! The venue is the perfect setting for a wedding, so elegant and fancy. Every guest that we spoke to said it was the prettiest wedding they had ever been to. We highly recommend The Dominion Club for anybody’s big day—you will not be sorry!

I had my wedding here on September 3, 2017 and it was the best decision to use TDC as my venue! I really loved the fact that it is a "one-stop shop" as far as having a venue that is pretty much all inclusive. They have a variety of decor, lighting, monogram/personalize wall or dance floor light features, sparkler send-off, Bridal party suite...the list goes on. I worked with Davis and Jamie and they were always responsive to my weekly (sometimes daily emails). They deliver a 5-star experience from tasting to wedding. My guests LOVED the food (as did my husband and I) I appreciated that there were options with regard to where the ceremony could be held. The landscape is gorgeous and you will not be lacking options for photo backdrops! TDC was very accommodating to my needs/wants and any issue that came up they were responsive to it. Overall, I loved having my wedding at TDC and my guests thought it was flawless!

The Dominion Club, where to start?
If you want a wedding with ZERO stress, and a place that does everything from the food down to the place cards this is the place for you.
Davis and Caroline the main event planners are fantastic. They are so nice and very responsive with emails and questions.
The Club itself is very well maintained, has a beautiful setting that is great for pictures. For my wedding of 130 I thought it was a great size and not crowded at all.
Their décor options is great and they do everything from custom lighting, centerpieces, and all of the day of stationary. All of my guests loved the column drapery, ring of fire candles, and chalkboard signs.
The food and bar selections are great and there is a wide variety to choose from.
The week of the wedding I was able to stop by and see everything being set up which really helped to calm my nerves.
The rehearsal was a breeze and Davis really knows how to run the show. The wedding day was super easy, we were supposed to have our ceremony outside but they weather had its own ideas, so it was moved to inside, but I didn't care because everything was completely beautiful. Everyone from the coordinators to the servers are very professional, polite, and attentive.
If I have a chance to do another party it would be here!

I love TDC! Davis and the staff are a "dream team". I am happy that I decided with TDC. Their responsiveness to questions, concerns, and my off the wall ideas is spot on. I appreciate that almost every vendor in Richmond has nothing but great things to say about TDC, which has afforded has discounts with outside vendors due to booking with TDC. Although this is a popular venue, Davis and her team do a great job making each wedding unique.

The Dominion Club made my now husband and I have the fairy tale wedding! From the moment, I had my initial meeting, I knew I was going to be happy with this as our venue. First, the staff esp Davis and Caroline are absolutely wonderful. They are incredibly helpful and accommodating. They have so many options and choices to make the day magical. Also, many venues charge extra for tables/chairs/linens... this is all included in the price which might I add is extremely reasonable. There is a minimum you have to meet for food and drink but the price to get in the door just can't be beat. They truly care about your day and try their very best to do whatever it is that you need. My "helper" for the day was Dori and I loved her! She was always around when I needed her and helped keep me calm and relaxed. The organization cannot be beat. You have a planning packet that pretty much takes you step by step to plan the entire wedding. Then you e-mail it back and forth till everything is perfect. They are so good with communication also! E-mails are always answered within a day and if the person you are e-mailing is out for whatever reason, someone else responds to you. They are in constant communication with each other which makes a huge difference. All of the guests had a wonderful time and the food was amazing. My husband describes it was a "fairy tale" wedding and we loved every minute of our day. Thank you so much from the bottom of our hearts for making it wonderful! The idea of a fairytale wedding couldn't have been more realistic at this venue, true perfection! From the always available staffing, to the perfectly coordinated night, the dominion club certainly provided the optimal location for our wedding ceremony and reception. And not to mention they implemented a rain-day change of setup without hesitation, keeping the bride from freaking out by all means! I absolutely love them, Davis especially!

This past weekend my fiance and I signed with The Dominion Club for our wedding on July 31st, 2016! We are so excited to hold our ceremony and reception there in 6 months. We had our wedding and reception at The Dominion Club. Davis and her entire crew were amazing!!! They run a well oiled ship that knows how to handle the wedding business. You can tell when it is "just another wedding" but with TDC, they really care for each couple and family. They even sent us a cute Christmas card!! From the time we paid our deposit, there was non-stop communication and assistance from Davis. Even when she is off work that day, she is quick on email! Planning a wedding is stressful but working with her eased my stress level. Working with Caroline on wedding day was amazing as well, she was very attentive and funny. Such a good spirit!
The venue is of course perfect. The formal photos came out beautifully. Not to mention, the food was amazing and all our guests raved about it!!!
Book TDC today!!! You will not regret it.

The Dominion Club was such an AMAZING venue for our wedding in October. The venue itself and the views are beautiful and the staff was beyond helpful and so accommodating. We loved working with Davis throughout our whole planning process especially since we were doing all our planning while living in another state. She helped our vision come to life and also walked us through a few hiccups! The food and drinks were so delicious our guests are still talking about it over a month later! The entire staff were professional, caring, helpful and really made everyone feel right at home. I wish we could do it all over again! The compliments we have received have emphasized how beautiful and classy The Dominion club is with a cozy, fun and intimate atmosphere. Thanks again to the staff...y'all are the best!

My husband and our parents searched for a month for the right place to have our wedding ceremony and reception. We struggled to agree on what we wanted. I wanted an outdoor ceremony with beautiful views and water in the background, my husband wanted something that was classy, but comfortable, and my parents wanted something formal, traditional, and elegant. At The Dominion Club, we found all of these things. The staff at TDC is top notch. Davis Walker led us through the entire process and assisted with decorations, planning our menu, and coordinating the sequence of events. Her attention to detail is incredible, and her communication and follow through on commitments is flawless. Working with her saved the need from having to engage a wedding planner or spend money on rentals for linens, etc. She even put together our table centerpieces! TDC has an array of options so that the couple can piece together their day to their own taste. I could not have been happier with how things turned out. My day was absolutely perfect. We have beautiful pictures, and stayed happy throughout the entire process. I will be forever grateful to Davis for her help.

Davis Walker did a fabulous job coordinating everything for The Dominion Club. The venue is perfect for the combination of Outdoor Ceremony and indoor reception. Customer Service was excellent. I can not say enough about how pleased I was as Father of the Bride. TDC is first class!

I worked primarily with Davis Walker at the venue. She and the rest of the staff handled everything very professionally and could not ask for better service. Incredibly fast to respond to email and phone calls (within 24h) and incredibly organized throughout the whole process. Everything from start to finish is itemized so you know exactly what you are paying for. The staff also responded very well during the high stress of the actual day and wear ear pieces to coordinate with each other for any slight changes.
The venue is a club, so the wedding area is reserved for you the entire day, meaning you get more than 6-8 hours on site and have plenty of time to get ready. We even arrived 2 hours earlier (got there at11am) than what we agreed on and they still welcomed us and set us up in our rooms. One of the best parts is that since they collected so many unwanted items left behind from previous weddings, they have a huge inventory of things for you to use at no cost (vases, mirror plates for centerpieces, charger plates, curtains for the arch, chiavari chairs, photobooth props, pedestal for flowers, etc.).
The food was amazing and even agreed to make our dumb little changes to the menu (baking the bread a little longer, getting whipped honey butter instead of normal butter [amazing and would highly recommend], and changing the sauce on the steak). They are used to dealing the allergies so that won't be a problem for any guests. The filet was also cooked perfectly across all the tables.
I won't write too much detail about how the venue looks because there are plenty of pictures, but the place is absolutely beautiful inside and out. It has a small lake if you wanted water in your wedding/pictures. The place also has a great rain site idea/policy. They would host the ceremony on the landing on their spiral staircase with everyone watching from about half a floor above in a circle around the ceremony. We didn't worry once about the weather during our planning.

Jamie and Davis were so wonderful to us on our wedding day and in all the planning beforehand. We have memories that will last a lifetime. The event was so wonderful and we are still talking about it almost 3 weeks after. My husband and I loved the decor, the food, and most of all the staff. Those two were so critical in our planning and execution process and we will be forever grateful. I never had a question that was left unanswered or an idea pushed aside. I know that the planning process can be very overwhelming to many brides but those two made it a breeze. AND we got to have the wedding outside in 78 degree temperatures- Jamie the weather God is my hero! I knew we were in good hands when we picked The Dominion Club.
Brad was so amazing that evening as well. He was extremely attentive to the bridal party table and the two 12 top tables with the parents and grandparents. He folded our napkins every time we got up (everybody loved that), constantly checked on us, made suggestions and answered questions along the way. I am extremely grateful for the special attention he gave to my aunt who was recovering from surgery a few days before.
This was exactly what we had hoped for and it will forever be a special part of our lives. We are so happy we chose to be at the Dominion Club and we highly recommend this venue!

My daughter recently got married and we held the reception at The Dominion Club!!! I can not say enough good things about this venue. Davis, Henry and the entire staff made the whole day a wonderful experience!!! The venue is beautiful inside and out. The staff is professional, kind and very helpful! They will do everything possible to make "your special day" perfect!!
Davis helped plan the perfect wedding reception. She listened to my dughter's requests and made sure everything was just as my daughter wanted. When we first met with Davis she said she would give my daughter her dream wedding. I am happy to say that is exactly what Davis and her staff did!!!
The day of the wedding went very smoothly. Davis and Henry made sure we had everything we needed to make the Bride relaxed, comfortable and have fun. The venue was ready on time and the whole place looked beautiful! All of our outside vendors said TDC was well prepared and so easy to work with. If you want to have a beautiful wedding/reception, work with professional, easy going staff and have the wedding of your dreams then you want to book THE DOMINION CLUB as your venue!!

I appreciate and love everything the Dominion staff did to make my wedding run so smoothly. It was such a beautiful night and I've received a crazy amount of compliments on the food, the staff and the appearance of the Dominion in general from my friends and family. Davis and Emily did a wonderful job on the set up of the decorations in the entry way and the table decorations. And Emily was so sweet and helpful with making sure I had everything I needed. Henry was amazing- he did so much work behind the scenes to perfect the evening. It was a lovely evening I will never forget!

My daughter Jennifer recently got married at The Dominion Club and let me just say, I have been to many wedding events throughout the years, but none were as perfect as hers. Every staff member was wonderfully attentive, effective, and efficient, while also giving us the feeling that they loved the job they were doing.
I have to say Davis made the event all come together. With her careful listening and terrific planning she made the wedding perfect. She did a superb job of making sure my daughter was well taken care of and at ease throughout the night.
Another person who made my daughters wedding unbelievable was Henry! He pitched in and made the night run so smoothly. He was great with our guests and made everyone feel welcomed. I am forever grateful for the hard working staff who did everything to make my daughters wedding a night she will never forget.

Thanks to all the hard working staff for helping create the best wedding reception I could have ever imagined. The night was absolutely wonderful and the service was impeccable. My husband and I can't say enough about how delicious the food was, how helpful and attentive the staff was, and how well the staff executed our vision for the night. We were blown away by the thoughtful details that created a breath taking reception. The venue is absolutely stunning and is a perfect place to get married.
It was wonderful working with Jamie, Henry, and of course Davis. They all three were so attentive to details, careful to help run the event smoothly, yet so relaxed. I also loved having a bridal attendant to welcome me into the club on the day of my wedding, bring me beverages, and was always available when I needed anything. She kept me calm and helped make my wedding day less stressful. The team was amazing to work with through the whole process from start to finish. Davis helped make the planning and preparation just as enjoyable as the actual day. I had an unbelievable wedding day and have absolutely no regrets with choosing the Dominion Club.

The Dominion Club is amazing wedding venue! Not only is it gorgeous inside & out, the staff are extremely friendly and accommodating! The wedding team consists of 5-10 staff members who are extremely professional and efficient! I knew nothing about planning a wedding, so having a team to help lead me and do everything for me was soo helpful! Jamie & Davis helped guide me through the entire process, making wedding planning seem absolutely effortless! They were always available to meet with me or answer an email, no matter how often I contacted them. On our wedding day, the team was constantly at our side to assist us and keep things moving smoothly. The venue was gorgeous (decorated by them), the food was amazing (EVERYONE loved it!), and our wedding flowed so easily! I don't think I heard a single complaint from our guests, which is something NEVER happens! Love, Love, Love!!!!!

After viewing a number of venue's for our daughter Heather's wedding reception that would accommodate the expected 150-200 guests, We knew we had found the right place. The Dominion Club. This was after meeting with Jaime and Henry for the first time. Then Davis joined in the planning and made it happen. I would like to personally thank Jaime, Davis and Henry along with their staffs for a truly amazing and memorable experience. Everything that was planned and promised was performed flawlessly. Our family and friends that attended all said that this was an outstanding event, party and great reception. All of Henry's staff, from the servers to the bar staff were upbeat, friendly and took care of any request. Henry was the Maestro of the Reception and kept everything on schedule. Having Jaime, Davis and Henry there during the entire event made for a fantastic reception.

We were so pleased with TDC! We looked at many venues but when we walked into TDC, we both knew it would be perfect. The entire team was so helpful. Jamie, Davis and Henry were all great to work with and were able to keep things easy for us. The day of the wedding we didn't worry about anything because we knew they would handle it. The Dominion Club is outstanding. We got married August 2013. I was so overly impressed with how our wedding came together. It is truly an all inclusive experience. We were able to take care of everything in one place. We were able to customize our menu, pick out linens, work details with our ceremony and reception. We were able to just bring everything we wanted to play a part and they set it up so nicely! One of the many things that lured us in was their huge inventory to choose from. We were able to use their vases, etc. for centerpieces. Only things we had to bring in were a cake, flowers, and personal belongings. They truly know how to take care of their clients and in a professional way. I was very impressed with their team. Though they specialize in weddings, they are able to make each event so customizable to the couple.

The Dominion Club and the exceptional staff helped
make our wedding day unforgettable in so many ways... My twin sister and I celebrated a joint wedding on Memorial Day weekend in 2011. After scouring Richmond, VA for the ""perfect"" wedding venue, the Dominion Club was hands down the place we wanted to have our wedding. From the beginning, Jamie Ashenburg was there for us every step of the way, from food tasting, room layout, rehearsal to ensuring that everything went off without a hitch on the big day. The menu options were abundant and the food was delicious! The staff was extremely attentive to all the guest needs. The venue speaks for itself. We got such magnificent pictures with the lake in the background, the gazebo and zooming around in the golf carts. The Dominion Club is the best venue for a wedding!

They are true professionals, and you don't have to worry about reminding them about every little thing - I found that if I had forgotten about something (such as where guests can place their gifts), Jamie and his staff already had a plan in place. They created our seating chart, place cards, and menus for us, which was a huge time saver. The location itself was beautiful, and provided a great backdrop to our wedding reception. The food was delicious! We had so much fun at our tasting, and really appreciated getting to have a private pre-reception cocktail party with our wedding party and family. I felt so well taken care of the day of the wedding, and I would highly recommend this location to anyone.

If I could re-do my wedding reception all over again, I would still pick TDC as my wedding venue! First of all, the venue is absolutely stunning! From the moment I saw the sweeping staircase, I knew I had found my dream venue! Everything you need is in one place- a photography spot by the gazebo, a grand entrance on the stunning staircase, scrumptious food, and a nice dance floor for the guests! One of my fondest memories was the day I arrived for the food tasting and saw the venue finally in person. From the personalized menu to the cute table set-up just for my husband and I, I could tell that the staff really wanted us to remember that day. Not to mention, the food was delicious! The chef was more than happy to accommodate the little tweaks we made to the menu. The staff was always very cordial and attentive, from the very beginning and through the big day. The set-up for the big day was done impeccably, and you could tell the staff is detail oriented. All of the tables, chair covers, and bows were set-up and organized perfectly, just like the head table. The backdrop, lighting, and arrangements were tastefully done. Jamie played a major role in fulfilling all of our requests, and was an absolute pleasure to work with. He added little details and helped tremendously with the decorations, which added that unique accent to our wedding that our guests adored. All of our guests were extremely pleased with their dinner, drinks, and service from the staff. Even though a few people arrived late, the staff worked promptly to make sure there were no delays. All I can really say, is that everything was perfect! I highly recommend TDC as a wedding venue- you will not be disappointed!

The staff at The Dominion Club made planning the logistics
of my wedding day so much less stressful. They were attentive, responsive, and Jamie especially was great at thinking outside the box and helping me come up with great ideas for the big day. For example, I told Jamie that I wanted to have a surprise cigar bar for my groom. While I supplied the cigars, Jamie created a beautiful display with the cigars, matches, a bottle of whiskey, and personalized signs on an antique piece of furniture in an area of the Club that was perfect. He even added deep pink lighting in that area to accent my wedding colors. Whatever you need or whatever ideas you have, Jamie will find a way to make it happen. In addition to the great service from the staff, the food was delicious, as were the cocktails. The event space was immaculately set up and everything looked absolutely beautiful. From beginning to end, it was a great experience and I was very happy with our decision to have our wedding at The Dominion Club.

My experience working events at the Dominion Club has been nothing less than enjoyable. The staff is top notch and gives their clients the absolute best service. As a wedding vendor it is a comfort to know that I am working with professionals that are able to adjust to any last minute changes that the clients may make. I truly would recommend The Dominion club to anyone in search of a venue to hold a wedding or any other type of event.

Working with the staff at dominion Country Club is a real
pleasure. What makes working with the Dominion club at weddings is there attitude towards vendors. They’re relaxed can do attitude allows wedding professionals to do their best work. Jamie Ashenburg and his entire staff have a genuine approach and demeanor about working with the vendors and this is a huge plus for the bride!

I've been playing weddings with Jamie, Henry and the rest of the team at The Dominion Club for years now, and I absolutely love it when I've got a wedding scheduled for the coming weekend with them! I spend a lot of time making sure I'm prepared to do my job properly, and I can't tell you how much less stressful it is for me to know I'm going to be working with The Dominion Club staff. I've played just about every wedding venue in Central Virginia, and many in Charlottesville, and even Williamsburg and Hampton Roads, and The Dominion Club is second to none! The staff is very experienced, friendly, and always helpful,
which makes my job, providing the entertainment, that much more enjoyable. They always go the extra mile for their clients, and they take great care of the vendors too, which helps everyone work together for the best possible outcome with each and every event. If you're looking for an amazing combination of form, function, friendliness and fun for your upcoming celebration, The Dominion Club is it.

The Dominon Club is one of my favorite venues in which to work. The staff there are very attentive to the needs of the guests. I enjoy working with Jamie, Henry, Morgan and Davis. They make sure not only that everything is perfect for the event but make sure any wedding vendor is taken care of and help in the coordination to make sure the celebration is a success. I would recommend The Dominion Club to any couple that is looking for a great venue that has great views and stunning architectural detail.

I had my wedding ceremony & reception at The Dominion Club and couldn't have asked for anything more! The ceremony site in front of the water makes for amazing pictures! The staff (especially Jamie) has everything so organized there is no stress on your wedding day! They were always there when I needed them but not in the way. The food was excellent & they made sure there was plenty of it! I would recommend The Dominion Club to anyone, it truly was the day of my dreams thanks to the wonderful staff!!
