We had our wedding in November at Old Trial and it was the best day imaginable! The views of the mountains were better than I could have dreamt, and the day itself was incredibly smooth with no mishaps. The personnel at Old Trail, especially Alana, were overall a joy to work with. They are super accommodating with any reasonable request, and they are timely in their communication. As far as the wedding preparation and the day of the wedding, everything was an absolute dream.

The food was also incredible. We had a buffet style menu that had dairy and gluten free options and had endless compliments on the quality of food. The chefs also made some Turkish appetizers on request during cocktail hour which were DELICIOUS.

When it comes to pricing, weddings these days are expensive. That said, Old Trail offered a FAR more reasonable price than other local venues of similar quality. My only advice to others planning a wedding would be to account for the price of drinks in your budget, which most wedding venues may not provide upfront, but Old Trail tried to make all pricing as transparent as possible.

Alana Samuel and Dawn O’Neill are an amazing team at Old Trail Golf Club. They made the entire process from checking out the venue on a first round visit, engagement photo shoot options, and every follow meeting through the planning process nothing short of perfection. They are professional, prompt with feedback responses and paid attention to every detail we requested. Down to extreme details like mopping up the rain puddles themselves for cocktail hour- they became friends of the family! This team is a hidden gem and the Restoration staff worked to make the day perfect! You really need to check out Old Trail Golf @ Restoration with the most stunning views and amazing staff.

First off, I must disclose that my husband and I did NOT get married at Restoration Hall. We were unfortunately one of the many couples who fell victim to COVID-19 and had to make drastic changes to our big day. Ultimately, we decided to get married in a small and intimate ceremony. However, our experience with Restoration Hall, specifically Barbara, was nothing short of amazing. We worked with Barbara for several months before ultimately deciding to change all of our plans. Barbara was responsive, kind, understanding, and so very helpful. Although we did not get a chance to get married here, we would absolutely recommend working with Restoration Hall. We were attracted to this venue by the beautiful backdrop and affordable price. But what really prompted us to choose this venue was Barbara's kindness and organization as well as the warmth and welcoming that we felt from the very beginning. We do not have enough positive things to say!

Restoration Hall is the hidden gem of Charlottesville. The view is amazing and the value is a fifth of some of the area vineyards. Barbara is so knowledgeable and just made the whole process so incredibly easy and stress free. The food was delicious (according to guests...I was too busy dancing) and the service was great. Be sure to check out the venue, my pictures are just beautiful with the mountains in the background and the beautiful fall leaves.

Restoration was the perfect choice for our wedding reception, and my husband and our families could not be happier to have worked with their amazing team! From every angle, Restoration was perfect. On the planning side of things, Barbara and Dale were so professional, helpful, thoughtful, and timely in answering all of our planning questions.

The fact that Restoration Hall also has a restaurant was a huge bonus because all of our catering and rental needs were handled through them. Stefan and his culinary team did an amazing job on our food--everything was delicious and well prepared for our wedding of 125 guests. They have a great menu to choose from and were super open to allowing us personalize some dishes and even worked with us to make fun signature cocktails. Likewise, the execution of the food service at our wedding reception was flawless with everything coming out in a timely manner with no hiccups. This was no happy accident--this was all due to the magnificent planning and attention to detail from the Restoration team.

The space itself was perfect for a wedding reception. We held cocktail hour outside under a large tent equipped with fans with the stunning Blue Ridge Mountains and the golf course as the backdrop. Our buffet dinner with 125 guests was held in the hall which was filled with beautiful natural light from the wraparound windows and wasn’t cramped at all. The tent was also a great space for our dance floor and thankfully it was quite breezy as well. Having the hall and the adjacent tented patio flowed perfectly and people were able to move between the two spaces with ease.

Barbara and Dale truly went out of their way on our wedding day to make sure everything was perfect even beyond their reception venue. Barbara was very attuned to all the decoration details that we had planned and helped to flawlessly make sure the timing of our reception was smooth. Dale guided my husband and our photographers around in golf carts throughout the gorgeous property with him guiding us to the best photography spots for the sunset.

Restoration is truly a gem and is the perfect place to host a wedding reception or any event! The views are arguably some of the best in Crozet, their team is flawless, and the space itself worked perfectly. We had a wonderful experience using Restoration Hall for our wedding. Barbara and her team were easy to communicate and work with and were extremely helpful as we prepared for our event. The venue was beautiful and the food was excellent. Would highly recommend.

Restoration Haal at Old Trail exceeded our wedding expectations in creating and delivering a custom wedding experience for our daughter and her fiancée. From initial planning, to cocktail and food tastings, to burying the bourbon a month before, Restoration Hall at Old Trail was open to all ideas and made a rainy wedding day into non-event for all, but especially the bride and groom.

Our small wedding ceremony was 12.29.2018. We later invited our family/friends to dinner. I feel they met all our expectations with the food and service. Leading up they answered every question asked with quick responses. I feel Restoration is a hidden gem. Very affordable. Beautiful view. Even though a small staff their execution of service never faulted. They took to task small details that I didn't have to ask a family or friend to handle. I highly recommend!!!!

We held our rehearsal dinner at Restoration and it was wonderful! It was one of our favorite restaurants to begin with, but we couldn't have been happier with how our rehearsal dinner turned out. The food was delicious, the staff was friendly and responsive, and our friends and family loved it. Thank you, Restoration, for an amazing night!

We had our ceremony/cocktail hour & reception at Restoration Hall Saturday of the Memorial holiday weekend. I can not recommend Restoration Hall enough, particularly for the value. It's one of the lower priced venues in the Charlottesville/Crozet area and certainly one of the best! Kristin Ridge, the venue coordinator, is worth every penny she gets paid. She will make your experience very smooth and pleasant. The space was beautiful, the food was fabulous and the attention to detail was spot on. I would absolutely have my wedding here again and again and again. My Mom made my wedding cake and the staff were so accomidating to her, which was very important to me! One thing however for future brides to know is that they don't have a bridal suite and therefore you must arrange a place to get ready with your girls. I still very much enjoyed our time getting ready elsewhere, just something to know. They do have a small space to prepare in and have snacks/drinks. Overall, I would still rate the value of Restoration Hall a 5.
