Cannot recommend this venue enough. I was deployed for half of our planning process with two extensions so my girlfriends and fiancé did a lot of the in person planning. Callie was amazing to work with and incredibly patient with my billion emails and delayed phone calls from the ship. The venue is a great one stop shop and was very helpful at every step. The bartender made us wonderful signature cocktails and the food was delicious. Also, the sunsets at this place are unreal and our guests raved about it for days after the wedding. -

We started working with Two Rivers over a year ago to plan our dream wedding May 9, 2020, and working with Lisa and Laura we had just about everything in place 2 months prior to the wedding. Unfortunately we had to postpone and move the location of our wedding due to COVID-19 and follow-on military orders, so we're missing out on what would have been an absolutely perfect wedding ceremony. TRCC has everything you could need-great setup, awesome backdrop and ceremony setup, super friendly and accommodating planning staff, and more. As others have noted, Two Rivers is a stunning venue for your wedding. My husband and I eloped there last week. Even though it was just the two of us (no guests) we still wanted our day to be beautiful. The sunset over the river in the background is so amazing in our pictures and video. The grounds are beautifully manicured and drain well. Even though it rained heavily a few hours before our ceremony, the grass was not muddy or slippery at all when we took our photos.
But the best part about Two Rivers is the event coordinator Jamie. This elopement is the second wedding we've planned (the first one never happened due to Covid). After the horror of our first wedding coordinator at a different venue, Jamie was a breath of fresh air, a Godsend, an angel, . Even though our wedding was just a tiny elopement, she treated us as though we were important. She was super communicative and always on top of every single line item.
On the day of, Jamie corseted my dress, tied my hair ribbon, boosted my confidence by telling me my makeup (which I did myself) looked beautiful, managed the vendors, moved the setup around in response to high winds, oversaw our dinner, etc. She literally did EVERYTHING. We were amazed just watching her be here, there, and everywhere, making sure everything was just right. She deserves every accolade. We can unreservedly recommend Two Rivers and Jamie for your big day.Two Rivers Country Club at Governor's Land's reply:

Beautiful Venue
We are so thrilled with Two Rivers Country Club!! Jamie and the club were so flexible with covid, we changed our event plans 3 times in the months leading up to it. The food was absolutely delicious, everyone loved having the open bar, and it was beautiful day of. We did our first dance in the gazebo at night--absolutely recommend this. Jamie was an amazing event planner and day of coordinator, everything ran smoothly thanks to her. They were able to accommodate all of our requests, like local beer, pillars for flowers, breakfast and lunch for the wedding party. Two Rivers Country Club was a dream wedding venue! We had our 10/17/2020 ceremony at the gazebo, cocktail hour on the beautiful patio, and the reception inside the Cypress Room. As a result of COVID, we only had 13 guests but even with such a small group, the wedding still felt grand due to this prominent and gorgeous venue. I loved how my getting ready shots came out in the bridal lounge! And of course, we took full advantage of the sunset – TRCC is the only venue I know of in our area where you can be pretty much guaranteed a priceless sunset. The staff is also amazing! Jamie, the event coordinator, was absolutely fantastic to work with. We communicated regularly throughout the planning process. She is truly the BEST at what she does and she made our day exactly what we wanted with the perfect timeline. I can’t thank her and TRCC enough!Two Rivers Country Club at Governor's Land's reply:

The venue is gorgeous without even considering added wedding flourishes, but what made the experience so great was the special events coordinator, Laura. She was extremely helpful and made everything perfect for our day. The flexibility for making our wedding exactly what we desired was above and beyond our expectations. -

As soon as I walked into the ballroom at Two Rivers I was hooked and knew it had to be our reception venue. Everything about this venue was fantastic- the views, the staff, food, packages- you name it. Lisa and Kayla were so accommodating and flexible and made everything we wanted happen! Our family and friends raved afterwards about how wonderful the food was, the best they had had at a wedding. We had the perfect day at Two Rivers and can't recommend it enough! -

User2347073 Sent on 10/02/2015Two Rivers Country Club was a perfect venue for our daughter's wedding. She was married outdoors in the gazebo where the setting is absolutely gorgeous. The indoor reception was perfectly choreographed by their terrific wedding planner (planner is included). Everything was on time and went off without a hitch. The room set up was exactly as requested with no attention to detail omitted. The Food and Beverage Director is great to work with and saw to it that all meals were served as planned. The food was wonderful. Special dietary requests were no issue. Our guests commented on how well the wait staff treated them. Even our vendors reported how easy it was to work with the staff at Two Rivers. I have no negative comments from what was a very special day for our family. Our guests are still talking about what a lovely event this was. I highly recommend Two Rivers Country Club.
