We hired The Catering Place through the recommendation of our wedding coordinator from the Historic Post Office. She told me I would not be disappointed and lucky for us she was available for our December 27th Wedding. J'nel was so helpful in recommending menu items and since I was new to planning an event of this size, so helpful with walking me through the process. They offer lots of decor, plating and food optionsl. My daughter and new husband actually loved the food at the tasting. The bartenders and staff were great and very attentive at the wedding. Made the day worry free for me as the mother of the bride, that meant so much.

A perfect experience
I cannot say enough about The Catering Place. From start to finish, planning my son's wedding, they were on top of it. We had some challenges with food allergies and vegetarians/vegans, and they made sure everyone was fed within their food choices. J'Nel, Corey, Mike and their entire team are the absolute best to work with. They really made sure our wedding was perfect! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!

So delicious, professional, and a pleasure to work with
You really can’t go wrong with The Catering Place for your wedding. They’re so professional and good at what they do. Once we hired them, it was such a breeze working with them. The food was delicious and all my guests loved it. We opted for a non-traditional taco bar but they have so many different options to choose from that would be delicious as well. From the initial tasting to the buffet line, everything went perfectly. They’re also one of the few caterers I could find that were flexible with you providing your own alcohol, which was huge for me. A super easy way to not have to break the bank while still having an open bar for your guests. I also utilized their in-house bakery Sugar Bottom and they killed it as well. All the guests were commenting how good the dessert bar was. I definitely recommend this business for all your catering needs!

Amazing Wedding BBQ
Jnel and The Catering Place team brought our wedding bbq mealt to life! They were so easy to work with, and made sure that all of our concerns were addressed with the menu during our tasting and multiple planning phone calls. We had about 180 guests and there was more than enough food that pleased all age groups at our wedding!! We also hired them for our open bar, where we got to bring our own drinks, and they made sure everyone got what they needed all night long. They went above and beyond to make sure we were well fed, and our guests are still talking about how good the food was (especially the cornbread and Mac and Cheese)!!

Excellent food, amazing company!
The Catering Place came recommended by our wedding venue and I am so glad we decided to go with them for out 135 person wedding. No only were they professional from the get-go, but they were extremely flexible in working with our budget and figuring out what worked for us while being sure to include the things we wanted (prime rib, heck yeah!). The food was amazing, and all of our guests could not say enough about how fantastic both the buffet and the staff themselves were. Incredibly professional, on-time, and overall fantastic to work with.

The best of the best
We found TCP as a preferred vendor through our wedding venue (HPO). From the start, I had the pleasure of corresponding with Jnel. I told my (now) husband that I didn’t care about the quality of the food, I just wanted to hire Jnel and the team because of her responsiveness and thoroughness. TCP offers all sorts of customizable packages for food options to suite any pallet. When we arrived for our catering tasting for our wedding, we were all blown away by the quality of every portion of the meal! The flavors and dishes were beyond delicious and we made it a point to tell every person invited to the wedding how excited we were for dinner! In a world where there are unlimited options, TCP will forever be our first catering choice, as they exceed the standard! There were several people at our wedding, myself included, who have dietary sensitivities, and TCP accommodated for all of those necessities. TCP also referred us to our bakery, Sugar Bottom Bakery, who created an incredible gluten free tiered cake in different flavors that everyone raved about! Once wedding day arrived, every guest we talked to said the food was amazing and they were all wildly happy! Thank you to TCP for your integrity, quality and exceptional service! We are obsessed!

Absolutely Amazing
The Catering Place went above and beyond for our wedding last month! Not only did they provide amazing food but the service was incredible. Corey and Jnel were incredibly helpful throughout the entire planning process. We received countless compliments on the food (their mashed potatoes are to die for)! The presentation of the food was also done beautifully. The overall quality of service was unmatched. We are so thankful they were apart of our special day!

There is no better catering company
I cannot speak highly enough about The Catering Place! Jnel and Corey are wonderful people who are easy to work with and care about you and your event! They take so much stress off of you by offering to combine other services like the rentals, cake making and DJ! That way everything is on one bill and they do all of that coordination for you! They are involved with every step of the process and have the highest standards!! Their staff is professional and easy going. Even if you don't want to combine services with them and only want them for their catering you cannot go wrong! Their food is to die for! I can't tell you how many compliments we got on the food we served (even our pickiest/food snobbiest guest)! They offer such a huge range of food and it was all fantastic. Between our cocktail hour, dinner and late night snack we had things like antipasta, crab dip, steak, chicken, mashed potatoes, burgers and fries, all phenomenal! Seriously do yourself a favor and hire them!!!!
