We had a great experience with Harvest Moon Catering for our wedding at Montfair Resort Farm this summer. A special shoutout to Fern, who was such a calming and attentive presence. The staff who worked our wedding helped make our day unforgettable, and we are so grateful to them!

I had a fantastic experience with this vendor! From start to finish, communication was clear, prompt, and professional. They were incredibly friendly and easy to work with, always making sure my questions were answered and my needs were met. I highly recommend!

We worked primarily with Helen as our catering coordinator, and she was amazing every step of the way. She was very knowledgeable about our venue, having catered there many times before, which contributed to our reception going over so well. She was super friendly and easy to work with. She worked very well with our day-of coordinator, and her team was very well-prepared, competent, and professional throughout the night. Outside of just Helen, the rest of the catering staff was all very friendly and hard-working. They were constantly asking if we had everything we wanted, and did a great job of packing some food up for us to take with at the end of the night. Even early-on in the process when we were still getting estimates for the catering from multiple places, we were impressed by how thorough The Local was with their cost breakdowns. It was very helpful for us to see what costs were going where, since we really had no experience in this realm beforehand. Additionally, the whole catering team was very helpful when it came to accommodating our guests with dietary issues. Cheese crumbles came on the side of the salad for those who didn't like cheese, and vegan plates were specifically prepared for the couple of vegan guests that we had in attendance. Aside from all of the excellent service that I've mentioned, the food was absolutely delicious. Everything that we decided on during our tasting with the Local tasted just as good the night of the wedding. The guests loved it as well - we received multiple comments during the night and after about how good the food was. I've got to stop somewhere, but I cannot say enough good things about Helen, the rest of the catering team, and The Local. Would definitely recommend them to anybody! We will definitely be stopping back by their restaurant for dinner the next time we are in Charlottesville!

Autumns custom catering was a pleasure to work with. They went the extra mile and really did everything they could to help us set up and clean up. The food is good, especially for the price. We loved the hot cocoa and coffee bar, it was perfect for a fall wedding!

Goodrich Gourmet was one of the best choices we made for our wedding. We wanted to show our favorite people some love and feed them something delicious on our big day. Goodrich Gourmet delivered on both loving our people well, and feeding them well. Our guests could not stop raving about the food and many helped themselves to second plates. The staff members we worked with were professional, kind, and genuinely seemed to love being part of our day. Our interactions were sprinkled with well wishes and reminders to enjoy the day, as well as questions to ensure we as the Bride and Groom had a chance to eat. It was clear that each of the staff loved being part of someone's celebration, and that they had not lost their joy for the wedding business. They made the logistics aspects so easy and were willing to make many adjustments for us throughout our wedding process, especially when we saw a big change to our guest count. Our bartender was wonderful, ensuring that there was never a line and that our guests quickly returned to the dance floor. The ladies helping us during dinner were so kind and attentive, always ensuring our drinks were refreshed and we always had a cold beverage waiting for us at our sweetheart table. We also opted to use our own plates and they diligently cleaned and repackaged them with care- truly going above and beyond. I cannot recommend this vendor highly enough for your next celebration.

Hank’s catered my wedding on May 2nd, and we couldn’t have been happier! The planning process was seamless thanks to Sabrina, the catering crew was punctual and professional, and best of all, the food was absolutely delicious! They were very flexible when we wanted to edit the cocktail hour appetizers, and it worked out perfectly. We did the buffet, and everything was a hit (the pulled pork and mac n cheese was my favorite). I would definitely recommend them to anyone looking to have the yummiest (and reasonably priced) food at their wedding!

They were great especially with allergies my husband has a severe allergy and they were very on top of it. The food was unbelievable it was so good everyone told me plus when there is a wedding it’s hard to have hot food. All the food was hot. They were on top of everything and did very well. I highly recommend.

We absolutely loved using Creative Catering for our wedding! Caitlin and Courtnee were so accommodating and helpful with our many requests and questions! The food was amazing and our guests are still reaching out to us to tell us how much they loved everything they ate. We especially heard that the guests loved the salmon, and many people said it was the best they have ever had! The staff was so nice and attentive to the bridal party throughout the day, bringing us drinks and food as we took pictures and constantly telling us how much fun they were having, too! I highly recommend Creative Catering for great food and staff who make you feel important on your special day.

We recently used this caterer for our wedding and bridal events and were very pleased with the experience. The food was delicious—flavorful, fresh, and beautifully presented. What stood out was the team's willingness to accommodate our needs and their flexibility throughout the planning process. While there were a few minor hiccups, their professionalism and responsiveness made everything run smoothly. Highly recommended for anyone great service and great-tasting food.

Early Katering not only has incredible food but has incredible people working the entire show behind the scenes! Early Katering is a family run business who is organized, punctual, accommodating, personable and kind. We got the beef medallions with red wine Marsala and pork loin with mushroom gravy with green beans and mashed sweet potatoes at our wedding which all was incredibly tender, cooked to perfection, delicious and all reasonably priced. They even accommodated to gluten/dairy intolerance for my family! Not to mention the BBQ Meatballs and spinach artichoke dip were to die for and are still talked about to this day. My now husband and I truly enjoyed getting to know and work with Early Katering and 100/10 recommend!
