Joy was absolutely amazing on my wedding day! She did the hair for me and my bridal party, and I could not have been happier with the results. Every hairstyle was beautiful, and everyone was extremely pleased with how their hair turned out. Joy was professional, organized, patient, and made the entire morning run smoothly. She paid attention to every detail and made sure each person got exactly what they wanted. My hair was everything I had hoped for, and I felt so beautiful on my special day. I am incredibly grateful for her hard work and talent and would highly recommend Joy to anyone looking for an outstanding hairstylist!

I would highly recommend Lara for any hair needs or services! I hired her for my wedding day and absolutely loved my hairstyle as well as my bridesmaids styles. At the trial she allowed me to try two different styles which helped me decide what I really wanted. The day of the wedding her and her assistant were professional, stuck to the timeline perfectly, and were super friendly. I couldn't have been happier and she truly made me feel beautiful on my special day!

Wonderful experience, Gohar was very professional and I felt so beautiful on my wedding day! I don't typically wear makeup so I wanted a natural look and Gohar far exceeded expectations. She was so lovely to our Jr Bridesmaid and Flower Girl in making them feel included. Highly recommend!

I have gotten two amazing massages from Latrice at the Virginia Beach location and I have to honestly say it is the best massage I have ever had!!! I have only had a massage that only targets the back and neck but Latrice does head to toes and is extremely knowledgeable about health benefits of massage and customizing massage for your specific health concerns as well as the relaxation. I highly recommend!!

We had such an amazing experience with Anywhere Beauty by Shae for our wedding! Mandy did our hair and Audra did our makeup, and they both absolutely exceeded our expectations. They made everyone feel so comfortable and beautiful, listened to exactly what we wanted, and our hair and makeup lasted perfectly all day and night. Not only are they incredibly talented, but they were also so sweet, calming, and fun to be around on such an important day. Absolutely wonderful! Holly’s team did hair and makeup for the bride, the bride's mother and mother-in-law, and 6 bridesmaids. As the bride, I ended up requesting a second trial because I realized my original inspiration and description would overwhelm my simple dress. One of Holly's pros Javela then worked hard to make my new vision a reality during a second trial. The results were flawless. In the lead up to our wedding, Javela listened to everything I said about my vision and then used her skill and experience to create perfect wedding day looks! Proof was in our wedding and reception photos which all turned out amazing. Holly's entire team was wonderful and we all could not have looked lovelier throughout the day and into the night. Holly and her team are highly recommended.

Rhett is an amazing hair and makeup artist. He was kind, profession, and did a great job with hair and makeup for myself and the entire wedding party (who all had very different complexions and hair types). We had rain off and on throughout the wedding day and took outdoor photos while it was misting. Despite all that, our hair and makeup looked perfect throughout the evening (even after a couple hours on the dance floor). Rhett was very flexible as we had to make changes to the hair and makeup timeline and made sure that everything ran on schedule the day of. I would absolutely recommend him to friends planning a wedding in Charlottesville/Richmond.

Who you begin your wedding day with is incredibly important - Jenn and Sadé were some of the first people I saw on my wedding day and I couldn’t have asked for anything better. Going back to the first contact, I asked my planner for recommendations for someone who would make me look like myself on my best day and he delivered. Even though I was living in LA and getting married in VA, communication with Jenn was ever-flowing and super easy. I sent a bunch of reference photos before my first trial, she and Sadé totally understood what I was looking for and we had the best time. I did a second trial the week of my wedding and it was the best decision, we got to dial in my look, work out certain details and talk specifics about the day. Jenn and Sadé are the people you want getting you ready for your wedding. The energy and talent they + their team brings is unmatched. I am forever grateful to Jenn, Sadé, Kristen, and Taylor for creating such an amazing environment and for creating some of the most beautiful hair and makeup looks I’ve seen. April (hair) and McKinley (make up) did a fabulous job at my daughter's wedding last weekend! Ave. 42 was helpful, professional, and communicative from the beginning of our planning. We did a trial with April and McKinley about three months before the wedding and were very happy with the results, but the services on the actual wedding day were even more spectacular. Both April and McKinley strike the perfect balance between fun and professional. They interacted with us, asked questions, and shared their thoughts and opinions about our requests in a way that was helpful and guided us in making our decisions. The entire hair and makeup process the day of the wedding flowed perfectly, started and ended when planned, and April and McKinley made us feel pampered and beautiful. None of us wanted "glam" hair or makeup - April and McKinley delivered the classic, clean style we'd requested - we're all different ages, different complexions, different hair lengths, but ALL of our make up and hair turned out AMAZING. Kudos to Ave. 42, April, and McKinley - thanks for making us beautiful on our special day!

My bridal party and I used Lou Stevens Glam Squad and had Jenna do our hair and makeup on the wedding day. We had a great experience and all received so many compliments!
