We hired Otto's for our wedding and we're so glad we did. Firstly Ali was amazing with helping us choose our menu, allowing us to try a bunch of options and helping us customize our menu. A number of our guests have been to plenty of weddings, and everyone agreed this was the best food they'd ever had at a wedding by far.

Additionally we had several food restrictions that were easily handled because of the flexible food options. We had a guest with a nut allergy, two vegans, a vegetarian, and a guest with a gluten intolerance. It was super easy to pick a menu that allowed all of them to enjoy the food, and for the rest of the guests to enjoy the meal as well. That was huge for us. We didn't have to compromise our own food preferences and yet everyone enjoyed a fantastic meal.

TLDR: Ottos is amazing food, service, and reasonably priced to boot. 100/10 recommend.

They adapted without missing a beat and took so much stress off of us, which meant a lot on such an important day.

Otto Catering was wonderful to work with from our very first email through the end of our daughter's wedding reception. Ali, the owner, was incredibly warm, responsive, and accommodating throughout the entire process. He made us feel like our daughter's wedding truly mattered to him and was committed to ensuring that we, and our guests, had a wonderful experience.

Ali graciously scheduled a tasting at their restaurant in Charlottesville, where he and his staff prepared a wide variety of Turkish dishes for us to sample as we planned the reception buffet. We were blown away by the freshness, creativity, and incredible flavors, making it genuinely difficult to narrow down our final menu. Who knew a celery salad could be so memorable?

He was also thoughtful and flexible in helping us stay within our budget, offering different levels of service and pricing without ever making us feel pressured to spend more than we were comfortable with.

Our guests raved about the appetizers served during cocktail hour and delighted in the abundance of delicious Turkish and Mediterranean dishes on the buffet. The Otto team was friendly, professional, and attentive throughout the reception, even helping to cut and serve the wedding cake and complimentary baklava, a thoughtful touch that our guests loved.

Planning a wedding can be stressful, but Ali and the Otto team made the catering portion easy and enjoyable. They delivered exceptional food, outstanding service, and genuine hospitality while helping us stay within budget. We wholeheartedly recommend Otto Catering for weddings and any special event.

Ali and his team did an amazing job catering our wedding with utmost professionalism and talent. They served passed hors d'oeuvres to our guests during our cocktail hour and also provided a delicious dinner buffet for our reception. They did a great job of incorporating multiple cuisines to please our various preferences from guests, as well as taking into account the dietary restrictions some of our guests had. They worked with us to create an amazing menu that blended American and Middle Eastern cuisines, which were peanut-free and included halal and vegetarian options. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout the night. I'd definitely recommend Otto Eats as an exceptional catering company and also recommend anyone in the Charlottesville area to visit their restaurant!

If I could give Otto Eats and Catering more than 5 stars, I would! From start to finish, their team absolutely blew us away. Our wedding reception dinner at Sky Ridge Farm was over the top amazing — every single detail was flawless.

The food was simply incredible. Guests are still talking about the flavor, presentation, and quality of everything served. The salmon, in particular, was among the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Every dish, from the passed hors d’oeuvres to the beautifully presented buffet, was prepared with such care and attention to detail that it felt like a fine dining experience for 200 guests.

The service was equally exceptional. Every server had a genuine smile on their face, graciously attending to guests and making everyone feel welcome. The bartender was professional, friendly, and a total pro behind the bar — keeping the drinks flowing and the energy upbeat all night.

The setup and display were stunning. Every table, platter, and station looked thoughtfully designed and perfectly arranged — not a single detail overlooked. And when the evening came to a close, their team stayed until the very end — sweeping, tidying up, and making sure everything was spotless.
