Otto catered both our welcome dinner and wedding reception, and we couldn't be more pleased with how the food turned out. Ali and his team were easy to work with leading up to our wedding (including addressing dietary restrictions) and ensured everything ran smoothly the day of the event. The food was phenomenal and received so many compliments throughout the weekend. Thank you, Otto, for feeding us all weekend! -

Ali and his team did an amazing job catering our wedding with utmost professionalism and talent. They served passed hors d'oeuvres to our guests during our cocktail hour and also provided a delicious dinner buffet for our reception. They did a great job of incorporating multiple cuisines to please our various preferences from guests, as well as taking into account the dietary restrictions some of our guests had. They worked with us to create an amazing menu that blended American and Middle Eastern cuisines, which were peanut-free and included halal and vegetarian options. The staff were very kind and helpful throughout the night. I'd definitely recommend Otto Eats as an exceptional catering company and also recommend anyone in the Charlottesville area to visit their restaurant! -

If I could give Otto Eats and Catering more than 5 stars, I would! From start to finish, their team absolutely blew us away. Our wedding reception dinner at Sky Ridge Farm was over the top amazing — every single detail was flawless.
The food was simply incredible. Guests are still talking about the flavor, presentation, and quality of everything served. The salmon, in particular, was among the best I’ve ever had — perfectly cooked, fresh, and bursting with flavor. Every dish, from the passed hors d’oeuvres to the beautifully presented buffet, was prepared with such care and attention to detail that it felt like a fine dining experience for 200 guests.
The service was equally exceptional. Every server had a genuine smile on their face, graciously attending to guests and making everyone feel welcome. The bartender was professional, friendly, and a total pro behind the bar — keeping the drinks flowing and the energy upbeat all night.
The setup and display were stunning. Every table, platter, and station looked thoughtfully designed and perfectly arranged — not a single detail overlooked. And when the evening came to a close, their team stayed until the very end — sweeping, tidying up, and making sure everything was spotless. That level of commitment and pride in their work was something truly special.
To Ali Sevindi and the entire Otto Eats team — thank you for helping make our celebration so seamless, elegant, and unforgettable. You made it easy for us to simply enjoy the night.

We considered several local vendors to cater our wedding reception, but we knew as soon as we met Ali, the owner, that we’d go with Otto Eats. It was the best decision! Ali and his whole team were amazing to work with from beginning to end. Ali was so helpful with planning and did everything possible to make sure our day was wonderful. Literally everything we tried at the tasting was delicious, which made it hard to make selections, and we got so many comments from our friends and family about how great the food was!
We HIGHLY recommend Otto Eats to anyone looking to cater an event or for a special occasion! -

Otto Eats catered our 75-person wedding in June 2025, and we recommend them in the strongest terms! We had a difficult time choosing a caterer since we were looking for something to fit both our budget and our larger vision for the role food would play at our wedding, and many of the other options we tried failed to stand out. All it took was experiencing Ali’s hospitality and incredible food during our tasting to make it clear we had found that special vendor we were hoping for. Throughout the planning process, Ali was extremely fast and detailed in communicating with us whenever we had questions or needed to make adjustments. On the big day itself, the Otto Eats team brought their food truck and arrived early to set up. The food was fresh and delicious, from cocktail hour appetizers, to the main dinner buffet, dessert and into the late night snack. We also used their bartending service and they did an excellent job keeping the drinks flowing throughout the night. The entire team was professional, kind, and helped make sure everything ran smoothly. We really feel they went above and beyond, not just providing great food but also serving our guests like family. We are incredibly grateful to the Otto Eats team for being a part of our celebration, and we can’t wait to visit their restaurant for many anniversaries to come! -

Incredible experience working with Ali and his team for our wedding! From the beginning, we were assured that our catering would be fully customized to our desires, and that is exactly what they delivered. We had several restrictions including vegetarian, gluten free and nut free options and it was no problem for them to handle. We asked the serving staff to be very attentive to our guests and they went above and beyond. Even months after the event, our friends still rave about the food! We chose Otto to have something a little different for our wedding reception dinner and they were even better than expected. The food was excellent, coordination with Ali was easy, and their staff was kind and professional. No issues at all throughout the whole process, and they were very reasonably priced. We hired Ottos Eats, Ali, and his incredible team for our June wedding with 160 guests, and we truly cannot say enough amazing things about the entire experience. From our very first conversation, the communication was flawless — clear, timely, and genuinely thoughtful. Planning a wedding can be stressful, but working with someone who is so responsive and organized made a huge difference.
Their professionalism stood out right away. Every interaction felt effortless, yet everything was handled with such care and precision. On the day of the wedding, the team arrived early, worked seamlessly with our venue staff, and went above and beyond to make sure everything ran smoothly. They even made the time to gather a rain plan and be on the ready for last minute weather! They moved 200 chairs for our guests to enjoy the ceremony outside.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. We have family connections to Turkish food so he was able to serve them family style. Our guests were chatting and sharing stories all night over food. Our guests are still raving about it. But what really set them apart were the personal touches — from customizing the menu to include our own choices, to thoughtfully accommodating dietary restrictions, they made everything feel personal, special, and uniquely "us."
If you’re a couple looking for a catering team that brings not only talent and professionalism, but heart and soul to your big day — I would highly suggest Ottos Eat, Ali and his team. They will absolutely exceed your expectations.

Otto's food is great, and a perfect fit for a group of guests with varied dietary restrictions-- the buffet allows you to accommodate carnivores, vegans, gluten intolerance, and allergies safely and deliciously! Beyond that, Ali (the owner) was the most conscientious and responsive vendor we had for our wedding, and he and his staff did an exceptional job, day of and before. He was the first person we talked to once we had a venue.
Also, get the shrimp. Just do it. -

From the very beginning, Ali and his team were true professionals—his attention to detail and generosity during the tasting floored us. What truly set them apart was their remarkable ability to accommodate special off-menu requests of foods that were important to our memory of Turkey. Each dish was carefully prepared and they were some of the best examples of the food we’ve ever had, in the US or in Turkey!
The serving staff were great and made us and our guests feel at ease. They served a buffet spread but made sure to interact with each guest to explain to them what the food was and to reassure them they would like it. The bartenders did a great job of feeling out the night and adjusting drinks as necessary to the people who were asking.
Highly recommended for anyone seeking an outstanding Turkish catering experience that goes above and beyond expectations.

I used Otto Turkish Streetfood for my wedding catering and I am so happy that I did! The food was so delicious and I had many guests say that it was the best wedding food they ever had. The team was very nice and everything was efficient. They staffed the event, did the set-up, ran my bar, provided the DELICIOUS food, and cleaned everything up afterwards. I cannot say enough good things about my experience and will definitely use them again in the future. -

We hired Ali and Otto Eats to cater our pre-wedding rehearsal dinner at a remote farm location for about 110 people. The team was amazing! Communication was easy from the beginnjng - Ali was so flexible and quick to respond to all our questions and changes. The food was incredible - they did a mix of local ingredients with authentic Turkish dishes. Our guests loved it! The catering team and bartenders were on top of everything and the dinner ran very smoothly. The pricing was more reasonable than other caterers we looked at for the same quality. Would recommend them to anyone!
