When we chose to have our wedding at The Taubman Museum, we were told upfront that Blue Ridge Catering was the exclusive caterer. Looking back a year later, I can honestly say that requirement was a gift. I wouldn’t change a thing—Blue Ridge Catering was an absolute dream, and I would choose them 100 times over.

First, their communication is top-notch. Timely, clear, personal, kind, and incredibly responsive. From our first interaction, it was clear they genuinely cared about making our day perfect. Their menu options are extensive, offering endless possibilities—whether you want a sit-down dinner, buffet, or grazing hors d’oeuvres. And the bar? They made sure our vision came to life, even bringing special coupe glasses for the bride’s signature Gimlet cocktail!

Beyond the food, they provided an incredible selection of table linens, plates, and cutlery to match any aesthetic. And let’s talk about the food—FABULOUS doesn’t even begin to describe it. Our guests could not stop raving about how delicious everything was. The presentation was stunning, and the service was flawless. The staff was like magic—our drinks stayed full, our plates disappeared seamlessly, and we barely noticed they were there.

Their setup was first-class, and they worked closely with our coordinators to ensure every detail, from the centerpieces to the timing, was exactly as we envisioned. And then there’s Cari. I cannot say enough about how incredible she was. Cari was our main contact at Blue Ridge Catering, and she went above and beyond to make every single detail perfect. One of the highlights? A fairly last-minute request for a donut cake. Cari took 12 boxes of donuts and created the most gorgeous donut cake imaginable!

The quality of service, the attention to detail, the complete lack of stress, and the outstanding food and presentation—they exceeded every expectation. I could not have asked for more, and somehow, they delivered ten times more than I could have dreamed of. Blue Ridge Catering is a must for any event.

Where do I begin? Everything was AMAZING! The food, drinks, service......all perfect. As the bride, they made sure I ate and stayed hydrated all night. Also, they made us plenty of food to take with us after our wedding. We have heard nothing but great things from our guests. Highly recommend BRC!!

This venue had incredible food with so many amazing options to choose from! They were incredibly flexible with making sure to accommodate guests’ food allergies or restrictions. We got so many compliments from guests on how amazing the food was. Their bar package was amazing as well! Would highly recommend!

We had encountered Blue Ridge Catering a number of times before our wedding, so when it came time to choose a caterer for our wedding, we didn't even bother entertaining the idea of anyone else doing our wedding. For the day itself, our event team was FANTASTIC. The coordinators did a great job making sure everything ran smooth on their side. The wait staff really took the fancy-meter up a notch. The bartenders were quick and efficient and fun. The food was absolutely, 100% on point (I have never had a single bad bite from them). Before the event, BRC did a great job of keeping in touch with us and making sure we knew our options. We had a misunderstanding that was figured out right before the wedding, and they worked diligently with us to find a positive solution. My words can't do justice to how pleased my new wife and I were to have chosen them. I would highly recommend that Blue Ridge Catering do your wedding.

Blue Ridge Catering provided the appetizers and buffet for my wedding a few weeks ago and I was wowed by every aspect of the experience, Greg made sure all of our needs were met and made everything run exceptionally smoothly. They went above and boyond with the service and even fixing my table arrangements when the wind had picked up. The appetizers and buffet food were all very delicious and he made sure that the wedding party was fed while we took photos after the ceremony. Highly recommend them and their team for any event!

Blue Ridge Catering is the preferred vendor for the Taubman Museum of Art, so they were "assigned" to us. I could not be happier with the choice. The food was amazing, their event planner, Hannah, could not have been more patient or responsive, and the event came off without a hitch. Hannah handled all of the emails and phone calls with grace, style, and infinite patience. Their team was cordial, responsive, and their poise made the wedding an event worth remembering. I cannot recommend them more!

Blue Ridge Catering (Hannah and Mark) were a dream to work with - they made our experience easy and efficient while we were planning from across the country! Everything was flawless - from choosing our menu to day-of service - we could not have asked for a better experience! We chose to do a seated/plated dinner for our reception of ~160 guests. The food was impeccable and we had nothing but positive and ecstatic reviews from our guests! The wait staff and bartenders were so professional, kind, and efficient! I would argue that this is THE BEST caterer not only in the Roanoke Valley, but in Virginia!
