This is a catering review! Hands down the best catering experience I’ve ever had. It was a personal connection. The food presentation was excellent the tables excellent. Whenever there seemed to be a question Ed was a the problem solver! They cared and treated us like we were family. Whatever I had in my hand Ed asked what did I want to do with it and they’d take care of it just the way I wanted it. Everything was perfect. The Mission BBQ team was present and seamlessly invisible. They cleaned up no one noticed. They stayed to cut cake and serve the cake too. Outstanding! outstanding! outstanding! My expectations were exceeded beyond. Those needing catering pay extra for the full service! They are worth the help and beautiful attitudes and are sweet spirited for sure!!! Mission BBQ was absolutely amazing as our wedding caterer! The food was just as incredible as we expected (we’ve always loved them!), but the service went above and beyond anything we could have imagined. The buffet line was quick and efficient, and there was more than enough food — guests went back for seconds, and we still had leftovers to take home, which was such a treat!

They even decorated the buffet tables to match our wedding theme perfectly — such a thoughtful touch. One of the most special parts? A dedicated server just for me and my husband throughout the night, making sure we were taken care of. On top of all that, they surprised us with a gift bag and a beautiful rose bouquet. We were truly blown away by their kindness and professionalism.

Mission BBQ brought incredible food and heartfelt service to our big day, and we’re so grateful. Highly recommend them for any event!

BBQ was not what I wanted for our wedding, but after the hurricane changed our plans that’s what we went with. Mission was absolutely delicious! Everyone ate a ton and loved the food. I highly recommend them especially if you are trying to stick to a budget. They work with you on customizing your food choices to fit your price point.

My now husband and I went for a tasting at Mission BBQ and we fell in love immediately. Kitt was the one who helped us with choosing the food and organizing how we wanted to handle everything and she did absolutely amazing. I was also happy to see her at our wedding helping to make sure everything went smoothly. The food was amazing and we had a ton of food left over that we were able to eat for the next few days. I will definitely be visiting Mission BBQ again next time I’m in North Carolina for a great bite to eat!
