The food was fantastic and the catering manager and server went above and beyond in making our guests feel welcomed! The set up was timely and the food was hot and fresh. The chef also checked in to make sure we had everything we needed. They cleaned up efficiently and even provided us with takeout boxes for the leftovers. I would highly recommended the North Street Press Club for your special event!

I don't like writing bad reviews of businesses, but I do feel a responsibility to inform other brides of my experience. Of course, one person's experience does not make a pattern, but I'm putting this out there in the hope of some change. I hired this company for a brunch wedding on Nov. 15, 2025. I met the company at a bridal show in Richmond, VA. The interaction was fantastic. I went out to the restaurant in Farmville to taste the food, which was also fantastic. We communicated via text over several months, and everything was fine. The day of my wedding, they were over 1.5 hours late and my day-of coordinator could not reach them by phone. My entire family panicked on my behalf - I had over 100 guests coming - and they had started to call various Panera's and Chick Fil-A's to place orders. Eventually, the caterers showed up and the food went out (late and plated horribly), but it tasted good and the guests rolled with it. However, the lack of communication was not ok. They said their truck broke down and had some staffing issues that morning. Alright, but you can't make a phone call to my day-of coordinator to let her know that you're still coming? All of my friends and family were left scrambling because we'd had no word from them. For any future brides who choose this company (the price was good!), I would recommend you discuss expectations around communication on the day-of. I would have back-up numbers of managers, chefs, and everyone you can get to ensure this doesn't happen again. I hope they learn from this experience and improve. They are a newer company and not bad people, but what they put my family and friends through was not ok.
