Dinner at Home was absolutely amazing! Ashley and Carter were an absolute pleasure to work with, and everything was so delicious and beautifully presented. We received so many compliments from our guests about the food! They were also incredibly responsive and helpful throughout the entire process. We also worked with Bev as our day-of coordinator, and she was wonderful! She helped the day flow effortlessly so we could truly enjoy every moment. Together, everything came together perfectly, and we couldn’t be happier that we chose Dinner at Home for our wedding!

We recommend DaH catering. The food was great, everyone kept complementing it. They were very timely, organized, and quick to reply to questions. It was great to be able to just enjoy the wedding and not have to worry about the food in any way. Ashley did a great job leading the team. You can't go wrong choosing DaH for your wedding or big event.

DaH catering was wonderful all around! Ashley worked with us to provide a menu for our daughter’s wedding that more than met our expectations. She is very professional and actually listens to what the client wants. The dinner was delicious, the service excellent and all within our budget! I would definitely hire them again!

They helped coordinate with other vendors and stayed in close communication with us throughout the entire planning process. The food was excellent and executed flawlessly.

Ashley and Carter are such good people and fun to work with! The food at our wedding was great (get the bruschetta!) and their staff was unbelievable. I am so thankful to all of their waiters, bartenders, and kitchen staff that helped my wedding run smoothly despite the rain! Ashley worked hard for me throughout our planning process to help me save money where I could, but was also always honest with me when things were “worth it.” I changed the menu multiple times and she was always accommodating and kind about it. Great team all around, I highly recommend them!

DaH catering did a beautiful job catering our wedding. Ashley and Carter are super responsive and easy to work with. The food was absolutely delicious, the set up for the reception looked fantastic, and I got lots of compliments from guests on the wait staff. We also worked with their day-of coordinator, Bev Wakefield, who made everything run smoothly. Would highly recommend using DaH for your wedding too!

We loved working with DaH catering! They were extremely responsive, gave us lots of options, and were very open to working with us on any changes or personalizations we were looking for. Everyone told us that they really enjoyed their meals, and we had more than enough of everything to go around - which is exactly what we wanted! The catering and bartending staff was very friendly and attentive throughout the entire evening. We would happily work with DaH again and recommend them to others.

We just had our 2 year reception after an early-covid marriage and I am still on cloud nine from how perfect DaH helped make our day. We hosted about 150 people. The food was fantastic and folks consistently tell me how smoothly the day went and how great the service was. From start (3 years ago...!) to finish, Ashley and Carter were responsive, knowledgeable, flexible, and kind about not only the food but rentals, alcohol, setup, layout, etc! Their established rapport with other professionals like rental companies and coordinators made everything seamless and easy. On the day of the reception, despite some classic Virginia spring rain, everything was stunning and executed perfectly. Ashley and Carter made what could have been an exhausting three years of wedding planning feel relaxed and fun, and we'd do it all over again if we could.

DaH Catering was fabulous to work with at every stage of our pandemic-delayed wedding celebration and planning. I think that you learn a lot about who people are when things get tough. And what we learned about Ashley and Carter as we *twice* had to reschedule our wedding due to Covid is that they are incredibly kind and compassionate people who cared about us as people and not just as clients. They would earn my unreserved recommendation for that alone.

But in addition to being great people they are also consummate professionals and talented caterers. The food was delicious and the whole process of choosing our menu was very smooth, even when we had to change practically our entire plan a month out to better suit a smaller wedding. They handled all of the details of our rentals, so that all we had to do was go and pick out what we wanted. Everything during our event was smooth and seamless, so much so that we didn't have to think about it at all. The food looked great, tasted great, and was served quickly and on time. The bar service was particularly impressive, and Carter worked overtime with me to get our signature cocktails just how we wanted them. While we had many hiccups getting to and through our wedding day, it was nothing but smooth sailing with our entire catering service. I would recommend anyone getting married in the Charlottesville area to work with DAH Catering. You'll get great service provided by great people--we couldn't have asked for more!

Working with DaH for our wedding was a dream from start to finish! Ashley and Carter were professional, responsive, and lovely to work with in the lead up to our big day. They walked us through the whole process including what we needed to know, what decisions we needed to make, and when we needed to make those decisions. I also appreciate that they partner with a company that provides equally-excellent service and high-quality rentals. Once we said “yes,” everything was smooth with planning. We couldn't have been happier with how things went on the day of our wedding. The cuisine was outstanding and the service was excellent. We appreciated the variety of dishes that DaH offers, and were very pleased with our final menu choices. Each dish was fresh, delicious, and memorable. In terms of logistics, the whole event went smoothly and seamlessly, a huge credit to the DaH team orchestrating things from behind the scenes.
