The Janitors MADE my reception!!! I think every single guest was on the dance floor at one point! The group of men have such great personalities and know how to get a party started!!! Their playlist has such a variety and they will even learn new songs for you. I could not imagine my reception without these guys! I highly recommend!

AWESOME band! We used them for our Rehearsal Dinner at Pirate's Cove Pavilion in Manteo, NC. They knew exactly what songs to play to get the crowd dancing. They also worked the crowd very well!

Our family had the "Glen Boswick Sound of Swing Orchestra" play for our daughter's wedding reception in January 2010. In a word, they were just AMAZING! During the reception and afterwards, none of our guests were talking about the beautiful bride, the fabulous cake or the great food!! All anybody could talk about was the incredible Orchestra. The Orchestra not only played so beautifully all evening long, but also all of our guests just loved the happy, upbeat AND understandable music that was played. Even the hotel staff loved the music! The "songbird" who sings with the orchestra was equally terrific - a real "lounge lizard" of the highest quality. It was simply PERFECT music for a wedding reception! We could not have been more pleased! Our guests crowded the dance floor all evening long, young and old alike! Glen Boswick, who is the orchestra leader, is such a wonderful gentleman! He is very easy to work with as well as a dedicated professional. He is also a man of his word, which is often a rare find these days. In addition to his orchestra responsibilities, Glen also helped to MC the reception for us. And, he even helped us to contract a great limosine service for our daughter and her groom, because I didn't know where to go too. You can use the entire orchestra - about 18 members, I believe. Or you can use a 7 member combo or somewhere in between, depending on your desires, the venue location and your pocketbook. We wound up using about 2/3's of the Orchestra. Speaking of your pocketbook, I feel that the "Sound of Swing Orchestra" is very, Very, VERY reasonable cost wise - in fact, an exceptional value. I would use the "Sound of Swing Orchestra" again and again, without any hesitation.

Paul and Laurie made our reception truly a day to remember! Without those two I doubt our reception would have been half the fun it ended up being. They made it so easy to just sit back and enjoy being married while they worried about timing, music, getting people to dance, etc. I would absolutly recommend this DJ to anyone getting married in the VA area!

We heard about Snackbar Jones from our planner, and I'm so glad we chose them! Frank was responsive and open to all of our song requests. Our guests we up dancing all night and I had several people tell me they were one of the best wedding bands they've ever heard. We had a fun mix for everyone and they totally made the night memorable!

Actualized Entertainment was great to work with and did an amazing job playing and emceeing our wedding! They put together one of the best swing bands on the east coast and were a highlight of the evening.

We hired The Brightsmith's for the cocktail hour for our son's wedding. They were incredible. They were punctual, played great music, received many, many compliments. Maggie's voice is incredible, both Steve and Jon are wonderful musicians. Their voices all blend together perfectly. Everyone was totally impressed. We definitely recommend them and would choose them again. They are the nicest people you will ever meet. Thanks!

Eldon provided music and sound equipment for our beach wedding in Rehoboth, DE. He played a small list of songs while guests waited for the ceremony to begin. He was more than willing to accommodate our wishes and learned two new songs for our ceremony. His song choices are a great mix of classical, modern, jazz, and pop. The sound equipment he provided was perfect for our beach wedding! Thank you Eldon for helping us create an incredible ceremony.

Brackish Water Jamboree was SO. MUCH. FUN. at our rustic, barn wedding! They came fully equip with a banjo, fiddle, washboard, stand up bass, guitar...the works! They got there about two hours before the ceremony began to set up, and played outside as our guests were seated for the ceremony. The music was so much fun and helped give the light atmosphere that we were hoping for at our wedding! We gave them a list of songs we wanted them to play (processional songs, etc), and they learned all of them with no problems whatsoever! After the ceremony, where they played us both down and back up the isle, the band moved to our venue's back patio and "roamed" around playing their instruments during the cocktail hour, which was so much fun for our guests! We had TONS of compliments from our guests on how much they LOVED the band, and even had a few people asking me for their info so they could book them for future parties! Best part!? THEY DJ ALSO!!!! Paul, the banjo player and singer, brought all of this DJ equipment for when the real party began on the dance floor! They played all of the top hits, and even a few specific songs that we requested which was awesome! Paul also did ALL of the announcements for us which made the night go extremely smooth! Not only would I recommend going to see these guys play at your local bar/restaurant, but I HIGHLY recommend using them for your special day! A fun band, DJ, and announcer all in one - you can't go wrong!
