You can't go wrong
You cannot go wrong with The Mill at Fine Creek. We had to change our plans due to COVID-19 and we reached out the The Mill and I cannot tell you how wonderful they were! We were able to be fit in last minute and had an amazing elopement. We could not have gotten married without them and I will be singing their praises as often and as loudly as I can!Sent on 04/17/2020

There aren't enough things I can say about how special this venue is. My wedding was truly a fairytale thanks to them. From the beginning of the wedding planning to working with me through the Covid craziness; they truly are the best. Super responsive and no question goes unanswered. Everything on my wedding day was more than a dream come true. They fit perfectly in our budget and worked with us on our guest count changing due to Covid with no issues. They made sure that everyone was safe, that everything was super clean and sanitary and that everything went smoothly. I cannot thank my coordinators Colleen and Stephanie enough for making sure the day went perfectly. If you're looking for the perfect wedding venue that has it all and for an awesome price? The Mill is it!Sent on 09/25/2020

Made our Wedding Day a Dream Come True!
Our experience at the Mill at Fine Creek blew away our every expectation from our very first visit. We worked directly with Lisa (the owner), Pierre (the pastry chef), Colleen (our wonderful day-of coordinator), Kendall (the hospitality coordinator), and many other welcoming and accommodating people. Leading up the big day, the staff maintained absolutely excellent communication and responded very quickly to emails and calls for every question and concern we had. They were incredibly flexible and were very generous with allowing us to change our entrees chart/guest count just days before the event due to a death in the family.Sent on 01/02/2020
The day of was nothing short of magical. Lisa, Kendall, Colleen, and everyone else at the venue the day of our ceremony went above and beyond helping us set up the venue and make sure that every detail was stunning- they even put together and set up all of our table decorations and centerpieces while we were getting ready!
In no fault of the venue, there was an issue with the transportation company which caused our guests to arrive 30 minutes late for the ceremony, but not only did they do a wonderful job adjusting the timeline and speaking with the other vendors, they even gave us the option to extend the reception to make up for the half hour free of charge!
So many of our guests were asking us how we found such a beautiful venue; many told us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to- of course with some bias, I absolutely agree! My fiance and I were absolutely floored, and are looking forward to spending our anniversaries at the cottages to 'relive' our storybook wedding. Thank you all so much for all your hard work! I will definitely be recommending this venue to ALL of my friends who get engaged in the future!!

We have been working with The Mill at Fine Creek for years and hear endless compliments on the service and process. A true Central Virginia gem!
The Mill at Fine Creek is one of my favorite venues. The staff is really on task, which is important if you want your wedding to come off without a hitch. Just as important, though, is the site itself. It is historic, with ties to Thomas Jefferson himself. The grounds are well maintained--with blooming flowers throughout the spring, summer and fall. The ruins are strung with lights so it is really just the place for a late afternoon or evening wedding if your guest list in on the short side. It is also a draw that their is a reception area on site. Again, this is fine venue.
The Mill at Fine Creek is such a historic venue and one of my personal favorites. So much so I had my own wedding here. Their food rivals the best restaurants in town. Colleen and Lisa are amazing to work with. I'm confident that every event held here is flawless and you certainly won't find a more gorgeous back drop to make such monumental memories.
