The Mill at Fine Creek was the perfect wedding venue. Many of our guest said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to. The food was excellent and the staff made everything run so smoothly. Our coordinator, Lexi, was fantastic leading up to and throughout the event. She answered all of our questions promptly, and helped us think through all the details. The chef helped us create a unique menu and even cooked a favorite recipe of ours that we gave him. The cottages were great for guests to stay at and the Millers Cottage for us as a couple was incredible. The Mill really knows how to manage details and the space itself is incredibly beautiful. We didn’t need much in terms of decoration to pull the space together! The list of vendors The Mill works with were also incredible. We can’t thank The Mill enough for helping us create a day we’ll remember forever!

As the mother of the bride, I can honestly say that Historic Whitewood made my daughter’s wedding day absolutely unforgettable. The moment we arrived, we were surrounded by such beauty — the elegant white tent, the soft Virginia breeze, and the stunning natural scenery all came together to create the most romantic setting imaginable. It felt like we had stepped into a storybook. What truly set this venue apart, though, was the care and love that Chad, the owner, poured into every single detail. From our first visit to the very last moment of the evening, his warmth, professionalism, and passion for creating magical experiences were evident. Nothing was overlooked — everything flowed seamlessly and beautifully. Our family and guests are still talking about how special the day was. Historic Whitewood isn’t just a venue; it’s a place where memories are made with heart and love. I’ll be forever grateful to Chad and his team for giving my daughter the wedding of her dreams. 💕

Got married during covid, they we were great, however we got told we had to cut our guest list after already sending our invites out which was hard for us but we understood. Kim was super nice and professional but the other lady was a bit rude to some of our guest who come to us and complained ( Meg or Marge?) but was still a great place to get married. Would highly recommend!
