We recently had our wedding at The Boathouse at Sunday Park, and it truly exceeded all our expectations. The venue itself is a picturesque setting for an outdoor wedding. The well-maintained garden provided a stunning backdrop for our special day. What made our experience even more memorable was the endless options available, from choosing linens to selecting chairs, ensuring everything looked just perfect.

Throughout the planning process, the staff at The Boathouse were exceptional. Our coordinator, Amanda, deserves a special mention. She was by our side every step of the way, ensuring our happiness and comfort were the top priorities. Amanda's dedication and attention to detail truly made a difference in our wedding journey.

The food provided by The Boathouse was absolutely divine. Our guests couldn't stop raving about the delicious appetizers, exquisite dinner selections, and the impeccable service provided. My wedding at The Boathouse at Sunday Park was truly unforgettable, and I can't say enough good things about the experience. Amanda was absolutely incredible from start to finish—her attention to detail, quick responses, and deep knowledge made the entire process so much easier and enjoyable. She went above and beyond, even helping with setup, which I greatly appreciated. She also took care of things I didn’t even know needed attention, ensuring everything ran seamlessly. Every member of the staff we interacted with was kind and accommodating, making us feel well taken care of throughout the day. Thanks to Amanda and the team, my wedding day was absolutely perfect. I can’t wait to return for future events! From the food to the service to the location, everything was a solid 10/10!

This was our magical reception venue on 08/24/24.

We first visited their other location in Rockets landing (which is an amazing venue with awesome views!!!), but it was out of our budget. Bonnie let us know they had a location at Sunday Park with a more affordable price for our date. We toured other locations that day but didn’t have time to go to Sunday Park. One month later, we decided to go and check out Sunday Park and WE IMMEDIATELY FELL IN LOVE. We knew we had to have our reception there. I could speak hours about how magical the venue is (outdoor gardens, patio, architecture, lighting, waterfront views, etc). I have always loved to watch sunsets by the ocean/river/lake and this was a highlight of our wedding day!

Amanda was our point of contact during the organization and also our onsite coordinator the day of the wedding. We didn’t have a wedding planner and even though we highly recommend having one, we were very satisfied with how everything turned out. We were able to pick our favorite color for the table cloths and lines at no extra charge, they had our favorite cider (boldrock) in the beverage package, they accommodated all our food requests and even had non-alcoholic cider for the toast for some of our guests. Amanda guided us through all the planning with a template they had and helped us built our timeline! The day of the wedding, she made sure we were fed with delicious food ( hushpuppies and crab dip were top!!!!) and Amanda even helped with my wedding dress bustle!!!!!! Nobody could find it and it was time for our first dance but Amanda was there to help!!! Signature drink mojito was great and refreshing for our summer wedding. Our guest were very happy and some said it was one of the best weddings they had been too.

On top of all of this, I need to mention we are not local to the Richmond area and Amanda helped us working around our full-time work schedules in order to meet with her either virtually or in person at very convenient times for us.

We are beyond grateful for having chosen this venue! Really looking forward to coming back to eat here and who knows, many celebrating one of anniversaries here in the future!
