About Dover Hall
Welcome to Dover Hall – a refined English Tudor-inspired estate placed elegantly among the bucolic, rolling hills of Manakin-Sabot, Virginia. Conveniently situated between Richmond and Charlottesville, Dover Hall was built with one primary purpose in mind – to entertain. The estate seamlessly marries the grandeur of days past with modern amenities to provide a truly exquisite and exceptional experience for you and your loved ones.
Magnificent in both size and style, the 2,400 square foot Ballroom creates a picturesque indoor ceremony and reception location with wood coffered ceilings and wrought iron chandeliers that were specifically customized for Dover Hall. The Ballroom opens upon a blue stone Terrace and spacious greens that can be utilized for outdoor ceremonies, al fresco cocktail hours, or grand receptions for up to 400 under an ancillary Tent.
The Bridal Suite is an intimate space complete with white Carrara marble in the fashion of Napoleon III, an Edwardian crystal chandelier circa 1900, and an abundance of natural light highlighting the still serenity of the dressing room. Additionally, the groom and his groomsmen can relax with cocktails pre-ceremony in the Billiard Room, reflecting a Teddy Roosevelt-era trophy room.
Complete with artisan in-house catering led by Executive Chef Lee Hendrickson, Dover Hall provides an unparalleled sense of luxury atmosphere and high touch service that will create an unforgettable wedding day and delight your guests for years to come.
