Wonderful experience

We found the Mill while searching venues and knew the minute we set foot on site that we were going to go with them. The entire place is beautiful and we loved the options for ceremony sites - we were fortunate that the weather held for us and we had our ceremony in the Mill ruins as planned. The majority of our guests were from out of state and the on-site cottages were a key factor for us. Everyone loved the cottages, the venue, the brewery, and everything. Our day-of coordinator, Abby, was lovely to work with and it was such a relief to have her handle everything to make sure they day went smoothly. The food was AMAZING and we had a great time planning the menu. Our guests could not stop complimenting the food, drinks, and entire experience. We also appreciated their willingness to accommodate gluten free options, as I am Celiac. The majority of our menu was made gluten free, and the entire staff made sure that I knew what wasn't and brought me separate, gluten-free portions of both the passed appetizers and the main meal. Our cake was entirely gluten free, absolutely beautiful, and delicious! No one even realized it was gluten free, which is a feat. Overall an excellent spot, and we'll continue to visit the brewery in months to come! Cannot recommend them highly enough.

Perfect Wedding!

The Mill at Fine Creek was the perfect wedding venue. Many of our guest said it was one of the best weddings they’d been to. The food was excellent and the staff made everything run so smoothly. Our coordinator, Lexi, was fantastic leading up to and throughout the event. She answered all of our questions promptly, and helped us think through all the details. The chef helped us create a unique menu and even cooked a favorite recipe of ours that we gave him. The cottages were great for guests to stay at and the Millers Cottage for us as a couple was incredible. The Mill really knows how to manage details and the space itself is incredibly beautiful. We didn’t need much in terms of decoration to pull the space together! The list of vendors The Mill works with were also incredible. We can’t thank The Mill enough for helping us create a day we’ll remember forever!

Our Fairytale Venue!

We had an absolutely wonderful experience with The Mill! From booking to the big day, everything was seamless and stress-free. Our day-of coordinator, Lexi, was incredible — she went above and beyond to help us through stressful moments, made sure every detail was perfect, and kept everything running smoothly.

The food and cake were amazing, and our guests are still talking about how delicious everything was. Communication was always easy, and we truly felt supported from start to finish. The venue also included so much beautiful décor, which made planning and decorating so much easier for us.

One of our favorite parts of the venue is its natural beauty — the stunning landscaping, the peaceful creek, and the overall atmosphere created the perfect backdrop for our ceremony and photos. It felt magical! We also loved that there were cottages available on-site, which made it convenient for us and our guests to stay and enjoy the full experience together.

Everything about our wedding day was perfect, and we’re so grateful to Lexi and the team for making it all happen. We can’t recommend The Mill at Fine Creek enough to anyone looking for a venue that combines breathtaking scenery, amazing food, and an incredibly supportive staff! 💍🌿✨

Wouldn't change a thing

I mean...wow. I couldn't say enough good things about our experience with the Mill. We got married there in December and it was absolutely magical. The scenery there is breathtaking! Even though it was only 30 minutes away from where we live, it felt like we were hours away from the city. The all-inclusive aspect (food on-site, day of coordinator) took a huge weight off of our shoulders and made the planning process so easy. Also, the cottages were so cozy and convenient for our families to stay in. We're already planning on staying there for our anniversary next year.

The food! Everyone will be telling you how good their food was. Truly, wedding venue food has no business being this good. And Pierre, their pastry chef, can make the most delicious and beautiful wedding cakes I've ever seen. 12/10. Their culinary team is unmatched.

Our day-of-coordinator, Jeannie, was the best!!! Her and her team kept everything running smoothly throughout the whole day into the night - I never had to think about what time it was. Knowing that I could trust her to take care of everything really let me relax and enjoy the day. Could not recommend this place and these people more!!!

Amazing Experience!!

I cannot recommend the Mill enough. We have them what we wanted and then they took care of EVERYTHING to the most minute detail! It was so nice to get to be present on our day and let them sweat the details! Beth, our coordinator through the Mill, was amazing! The food was SO GOOD and we got to pick exactly what we wanted. Plus, it’s beautiful!

The Best Venue in the RVA Area

We knew we wanted to get married at the Mill before we even got engaged. It is such a perfect wedding venue with beautiful grounds- there are so many great spots for photos and to have your ceremony. The staff are wonderful. Melissa gave us multiple venue tours before booking and she was so patient while answering all of our questions. Beth the coordinator was such a joy to work with and made us feel like we could just relax on the day of our wedding and not worry about a thing! She was attentive to our needs and very organized. Our guests loved the food and Lisa and her team did a wonderful job with planning our menu. We received so many positive comments about the bartending staff as well! If you are looking for a beautiful, all-inclusive venue with a getting ready space, on site accommodations, top notch food and bar menu- The Mill at Fine Creek is the best spot in Richmond.

Just Perfect!

From the day we visited The Mill at Fine Creek, we received nothing but professionalism, attentiveness, and good vibes. I knew immediately that we would be married at the Mill. Lisa and Beth were instrumental in delivering the wedding of our dreams. We are still receiving compliments about the beauty of the venue, the deliciousness of the food, and the graciousness of the staff. The cherries on top were the adjacent cottages (where our families stayed) and the brewery where we held our Rehearsal Dinner. Just perfect!

The BEST Option for RVA Brides

I cannot say enough about The Mill at Fine Creek!! Even three months after the wedding, we’re still constantly getting compliments about the venue, the food, and the staff. The Mill provided everything we could have ever wanted in a wedding venue and made the planning process a breeze.

Melissa, our day of coordinator, was amazing and eased any and all stressors and solved any problems that came up. Pierre, the pastry chef, made us an incredible wedding cake and delicious macarons. Our guests raved about the food, the bar, and our cocktail hour options. The Mill let us run wild and made our dream wedding a reality, including going the extra mile and finding the gummy sharks we wanted for our signature drinks.

The ruins are beautiful and make for gorgeous photos. The bridal suite is beautiful and perfect to get ready in. We comfortably fit our hair and makeup team, five bridesmaids, two moms, and myself and still had room for the photographers to get their shots. The groom’s cottage is large and gave our guys plenty of space to relax before the ceremony. Do yourself a favor and stay in the Miller’s Cottage after your wedding! It was so nice being able to just walk next door after everything was over.

You cannot find a better wedding venue option. It’s gorgeous, the catering is amazing, the bar is fully stocked and reasonably priced, and the staff is incredible.

Highly recommend The Mill at Fine Creek!

We had our wedding at The Mill at Fine Creek in February and it was absolutely amazing. Everyone on the staff is caring, helpful, and professional. Not only are the location and scenery beautiful, but the Mill and Miller's Cottage are the perfect setting for your wedding and reception. Beth was our coordinator and was amazing to work with. She was communicative, organized, and helped relieve so much of our stress with her calm confidence and expertise. Bryan helped bring our menu and signature cocktail vision to life. We received so many compliments on the meal, with many people saying it was the best wedding meal they've ever had. Pierre created a beautiful and delicious cake masterpiece. We highly recommend The Mill for your big day!

The Most Perfect Venue!

Our wedding at The Mill was everything we could have asked for. From the planning process, the communication between our day-of coordinator Melissa, and everything leading up to the big day, it was absolutely perfect. Every detail was worked out and everything went so smoothly. Their staff worked so hard to make sure everything was exactly as we had envisioned it. The food and our cake was incredible and we are still, to this day, getting compliments on all of it. Have No Fear, The Mill is here

The Mill at Fine Creek was the perfect venue for our ceremony and reception! The staff was very easy to work throughout the process and was also very friendly, helpful, and flexible with our ideas and food selections. They ensured that our wedding day was unforgettable. Our close family and Friends who attended the wedding is still speaking about how beautiful this site is and how friendly all the staff was on this beautiful day. We also had the opportunity to stay in the cottages with this venue. The cottages are very cozy and relaxing. All that is needed before one’s big day.

Best wedding

I got married here in April 2022. We had a phenomenal experience. There were a few hiccups with emails being In spam folders and a misunderstand or two but nothing that outweighed our overall experience. We met w Kim several times and I felt like she got us as a couple. She let me make the decisions I needed to but took the lead if I wasn’t so sure of something. Lisa Is thé most amazing and will honestly sit w you and create whatever you want for your wedding. The food was incredible. People still rave about it! The day if the wedding, Kim and the staff, couldn’t have been more incredible. They made sure I had everything I Wanted and there was literally nothing that went wrong. They were very accommodating w guests that cancelled late and my late seating chart changes! My only recommendations, would be to make more space in the bridal suite. My hmu said the tables were narrow (I had a small party but I could see how a big party would be cramped). The bathroom up there is huge and the kids area is a plus (but if not needed, a waste of space, but if needed a total bonus!). And to give wedding parties right of first refusal (until a certain date) for booking the cottages the night of the wedding. Overall, It was 10/10. My husband and I love using the brewery as a reason to come visit! If you want a top notch experience I couldn’t recommend them more.

Love love love this venue!

My husband and I had our rehearsal dinner, wedding ceremony, and reception at the Mill at the end of May. Not only is the entire venue (inside and out) absolutely stunning, but the staff at the Mill are so incredible to work with! All communication and planning was timely and effortless, with each person (including Lisa, Kim, Pierre, Bryan, and others) taking care to make our day exactly how we envisioned it.
We received endless compliments from our guests on the food (apps, dinner, and cake made by the Mill), as well as how gorgeous the whole venue is. Our wedding party stayed two nights in the cottages on site, which are equally cute and perfect. This made the whole weekend for our family and wedding party so much more relaxed and enjoyable, not having to worry about driving and being able to spend more quality time with each other. If you're contemplating staying at the cottages, I promise you won't regret it! Getting married at this venue is a true dream come true.

Incredible

The Mill at Fine Creek made all our wedding dreams come true. They have so many unique spots to getting married on property - all of which have stunning backgrounds with the creek, woods, gorgeous trees, and (our favorite) the mill ruins. Kim was our wedding coordinator for the day of and made everything effortless for us. Our guests have been raving about the food, all of which is completely custom and unique to your day. Their pastry chef made the most delicious cake with delicate details. All of their staff is so helpful and ready to answer any questions you have - big and small. We had to postpone our wedding due to Covid and they were so understanding and flexible that we did not have to stress about anything! We cannot recommend The Mill at Fine Creek more highly for any of your celebrations - intimate or large!

Tearing up just writing this review...

Absolutely, positively, hands-down, cannot imagine there is a better venue out there. From the absolutely amazing experience planning with Kim (who was so incredibly thoughtful; sometimes I would off-handedly mention an idea and MONTHS later SHE would remember and I would be the one to forget) to the absolutely breathtaking views, their incredible working relationships with vendors, to the impeccable food including CAKE! This was the greatest decision we made. I've heard so many friends have such a terrible time with their wedding planning and mine was an absolute pleasure. Our guests were awestruck and in wonderment. The service was seamless and Kim helped me get things set up the entire day and was even helping to chill me out. The Mill has such a special place in my heart and I will cherish this day forever. Thank you so so so so much to the entire staff. Y'all made it so easy and I am forever grateful! I love you guys! I could gush forever but just know we were extremely, extremely pleased with every detail. Thank you, guys, from the bottom of my heart.

Frank and I recently wedded at this venue and did our reception here as well. We loved it, nothing can be “perfect” but if anything ever could be it was our day here at the Mill. The entire staff was so welcoming and helpful to make our day! Our family and friends raved and continue to do so about the beautiful property and the food and cake! Best day ever!

You will not be disappointed with having your wedding here at the Mill! The grounds are beautiful, the food is delicious, and the people are so friendly! Not only that but there is a coffee shop, cottages, & brewery all on site. I’m still getting messages about how beautiful the space was and how delicious the food was! The Mill at Fine Creek? More like The Mill at BEST Creek

Y’all...first, I have to say that being a Covid bride was definitely not an ideal situation to be in...but that’s why your vendors and venue should matter even more! My husband and I got married at The Mill at Fine Creek on August 13th after having to postpone from November 13th of last year...and it could not have been MORE PERFECT! When I initially reached out about the need to postpone, Melissa, the GM, was so lovely and gave me a list of not only the open Fridays for 2021, but a current update of cottage availability for the dates. She knew that we had a number of out of town guests so that little touch was just one of many that the amazing folks at The Mill took into account. The communication from everyone throughout the whole planning process and the day of was top notch! Future brides- keep in mind that this is a venue that is GORGEOUS on its own. We did zero decor for our ceremony site and our guests are still telling us how beautiful it was. The tables, chairs, place settings, glassware, tablecloths, napkins, etc are ALL INCLUDED in the venue price. I had zero anxiety about that stuff and got to focus on the important concepts of our big day because of it. We are also still getting messages everyday from folks raving about the food (it’s seriously the best) and how lovely it was that they had their own beers (brewery right up the hill!) on tap. The Benusas have done a PHENOMENAL job with this venue and they have the best staff on hand to make your big day your literal dream come true ❤️ Thank you all again for everything!!! The Berans love you!

WalkersByFaith2021 Wedding

This was the most amazing place for a wedding We loved it and I would recommend it to everyone. The venue setting was out of this world the staff was the best ever!!!!! The creek setting was amazing our friends and family were amazed at how beautiful it was. The ruin is where we had our ceremony at and it was stunning. I wanted to get married in Paris and this was the next best thing. My day was everything I dreamt of and more. Thank you staff of The Mills At Fine Creek we love yall.

The Mill at Fine Creek was PERFECT

We got married in May using the elopement package they offer and it was perfect! When choosing a venue, one of our greatest priorities was finding a place that would enable us to have our wedding that didn't feel like a "cookie-cutter" experience. Between the multiple ceremony sites, the highly customizable menu, their in-house pastry chef, and how flexible they were with flowers, decorations, day-of timeline, etc, we were truly able to design a wedding that was unique to us. The food was incredible, from appetizers to entrees to the cake! They are very receptive to food suggestions and seemed prepared to make anything. The star dish at our wedding was a Spanish paella that everyone loved! Pierre, the in-house pastry chef, designed a beautiful wedding cake that he detailed with edible cherry blossoms.

The venue really is a one stop shop for all your wedding needs. They have a private cottage for the bride and groom to stay in overnight as well as a limited number of other cottages onsite for guests to stay in too. They provide table linens (of all different colors and styles to choose from) and have multiple table setting options (table numbers, votives, etc), and easels. At a cheap cost, they will provide lunch and drinks for the wedding parties as they are getting ready. They also have a bubble machine for the bride and groom exit.

The overall service from the venue was outstanding. Lisa, Kim, and Melissa made the planning process enjoyable and very easy. The day of the wedding the staff were incredibly attentive and all events ran smoothly. We were so impressed and appreciative of the entire execution of the wedding by The Mill Team. We couldn't recommend this venue more.

Perfect and beautiful venue!

Lisa, Kim, Melissa and the staff at the Mill were above and beyond spectacular. During our first visit back in March 2020 (right before everything shut down due to COVID), we knew we found our perfect venue. Everything from the beautiful landscape to the creek to the cottage charm - it was everything we could've ever dreamed of. COVID caused a lot of uncertainty, but the Mill was always there for us and maintained an open line of communication. Our wedding day finally arrived and it was a total dream come true. Our guests were raving about how naturally beautiful this venue is, the accommodating staff, and of course, how tasty the food was! We highly recommend The Mill to future couples!

What a wonderful venue with equally wonderful staff. The entire process with them was so easy. We worked with their coordinator and she (Kim F.) held our hand the entire process. The Perfect Pandemic Dinner Party

The Mill at Fine Creek is an extraordinary venue! My daughter and son-in-law celebrated their wedding with a lovely dinner party. In spite of the pandemic, the night exceeded our expectations! We greatly appreciate everyone who made this possible. Melissa, Colleen, Stephanie, and Lisa went above and beyond. Thank you to Ken, Darrell, Pierre, Emily, Margaret, and Andrew for an enjoyable cocktail hour, delightful meal, and delicious wedding cake. The charming guest cottages offer many amenities while Elise and Mary keep them immaculate. During your stay be sure to visit Fine Creek Provisions, and say hello to Rosalie and Shane.

Outstanding!

There aren't enough things I can say about how special this venue is. My wedding was truly a fairytale thanks to them. From the beginning of the wedding planning to working with me through the Covid craziness; they truly are the best. Super responsive and no question goes unanswered. Everything on my wedding day was more than a dream come true. They fit perfectly in our budget and worked with us on our guest count changing due to Covid with no issues. They made sure that everyone was safe, that everything was super clean and sanitary and that everything went smoothly. I cannot thank my coordinators Colleen and Stephanie enough for making sure the day went perfectly. If you're looking for the perfect wedding venue that has it all and for an awesome price? The Mill is it!

You Want to Get Married Here!!!

Where to start with The Mill. We were blown away every step of the way, and they made us feel special, supported, and cared for the entire way through, even in the midst of a pandemic. The grounds and facilities are impeccable - everyone's jaw dropped when they arrived for the ceremony and explored through cocktail hour and the reception. We also had our rehearsal dinner at the brewery up the road and it was AMAZING. We can't wait to go back to the cottages for our anniversary next year. The food is so unique and we loved that we created our menu based on foods we like to eat and around Paris where we were engaged. The chefs are so creative and collaborative - our guests could not stop talking about the food. Make sure you opt-in to their day of coordinating; Colleen and Melissa were so amazing day of - they made sure we had plans A to Z (it was supposed to hurricane *right* during our ceremony, but ended up missing us) just in case we had to change plans. I love that they use a portal which keeps everything in one spot and they offer a variety of payment options. Use their preferred vendors - they are so in sync and work seamlessly, we honestly were able to relax and enjoy day of, and the organization process was so easy. I would recommend The Mill 1000 times over - don't go anywhere else to get married!

You can't go wrong

You cannot go wrong with The Mill at Fine Creek. We had to change our plans due to COVID-19 and we reached out the The Mill and I cannot tell you how wonderful they were! We were able to be fit in last minute and had an amazing elopement. We could not have gotten married without them and I will be singing their praises as often and as loudly as I can!

Made our Wedding Day a Dream Come True!

Our experience at the Mill at Fine Creek blew away our every expectation from our very first visit. We worked directly with Lisa (the owner), Pierre (the pastry chef), Colleen (our wonderful day-of coordinator), Kendall (the hospitality coordinator), and many other welcoming and accommodating people. Leading up the big day, the staff maintained absolutely excellent communication and responded very quickly to emails and calls for every question and concern we had. They were incredibly flexible and were very generous with allowing us to change our entrees chart/guest count just days before the event due to a death in the family.
The day of was nothing short of magical. Lisa, Kendall, Colleen, and everyone else at the venue the day of our ceremony went above and beyond helping us set up the venue and make sure that every detail was stunning- they even put together and set up all of our table decorations and centerpieces while we were getting ready!
In no fault of the venue, there was an issue with the transportation company which caused our guests to arrive 30 minutes late for the ceremony, but not only did they do a wonderful job adjusting the timeline and speaking with the other vendors, they even gave us the option to extend the reception to make up for the half hour free of charge!
So many of our guests were asking us how we found such a beautiful venue; many told us that it was the most beautiful wedding they had ever been to- of course with some bias, I absolutely agree! My fiance and I were absolutely floored, and are looking forward to spending our anniversaries at the cottages to 'relive' our storybook wedding. Thank you all so much for all your hard work! I will definitely be recommending this venue to ALL of my friends who get engaged in the future!!

Aug 18th Wedding

The whole team was great from start to finish even when my husband and I hit a snag with our finances. They were very thorough in checking in throughout our planning. We did our catering and that whole team was phenomenal. The food was amazing. Theres something for everyone and our cake was to die for ! Lemon raspberries. Plus we had cupcakes the same flavor and red velvet.

A One-Stop-Shop That You and Your Guests Will Love

I can not say enough positive things about The Mill as a venue, as well as about the team. Kendall and Colleen were a dynamic duo on the day of, not to mention they were there every step of the way for me during the planning process. Emails were always answered under 24 hours and they were accommodating to my schedule and let me come on-site any time I was in town (I was planning from another city). Lisa helped us put together an incredible menu which our guests have not stopped talking about (the fact all food and beverage is provided in-house is truly amazing). For those guests who stayed at the Cottages on-site, Rosalie made sure everyone felt at home during their stay (the Cottages are truly beautiful and so convenient). Pierre executed our dessert vision (miniature pies) and even made samples for us to try during our group tasting. Finally, Daniel at the Brewery went above and beyond to help us select beers for our beer blending unity ceremony (he recommended options to blend in addition to letting us taste them). The team at the Mill is truly the dream team. You nor your guests will be disappointed with this venue.

Beautiful Venue and Wonderful People

We fell in love with this place after our first tour. Lisa is an amazing chef, everyone told us how awesome the food was. She also helped us build a custom menu with dim sum, flat breads, grilled oysters, beef tenderloin with a compound butter, chicken marbella and atlantic salmon. Pierre's desserts were completely gone at the end of the night. We did a mix of cookies, macaroons, pastries, cheesecake, key lime pie. YUM. The coordinators are on top of their game. They were helpful with our seating charts, timeline and making sure people were where they were supposed to be. With our group, it was like herding cats and they got the job done. Also, if you visit you HAVE TO see the cottages. Rosalie is the sweetest lady you will ever meet and cottages are straight out of a magazine. I would recommend this wedding venue, or any event, to everyone I know.

Dream Come True

Our entire experience with the Mill at Fine Creek was outstanding. Our daughter is a celiac, and the entire reception was gluten free. We had some individuals with other allergies and they handled it perfectly. The food was amazing and delicious. We were told by numerous guests it was the best wedding/event food they had ever had. The staff was coureous and beyond helpful. I HIGHLY recommend this venue. Thank you The Mill for such a wonderful wedding and reception!

Absolutely magical!

This was truly the venue of my dreams and I feel so lucky to live close by! It was like something out of a fairytale, which is pretty much what I was looking for. Both the grounds and the buildings were beautiful, clean, and pristine, the food (did I mention they have onsite catering and pastries??) was to die for and I swear I'd go to any restaurant of theirs if they had one, and the staff was so sweet and helpful all the time. We couldn't have had our dream wedding without this place and for that we are forever grateful!

Highly, Highly Recommend

From the very first tour at The Mill, my fiance and I were sold. They are truly the most accommodating and friendly staff I’ve ever met at a venue. The entire day went so smoothly and I can’t thank this team enough for that. Colleen and Stephanie were an absolute delight to work with and kept me calm throughout the whole process. Lisa is a magician in the kitchen and our guests are still raving about the food! Not to mention Pierre’s delicious, beautiful cake. Everything was so perfect, including the cottages and the beautiful grounds. I just can’t say enough good things about The Mill. I don’t have a single regret or complaint. I highly recommend this venue to everyone, you won’t be sorry.

Like a Fairy Tale

My daughter had her wedding at the Mill in May 2019. I cannot say enough about this venue. From the very first time my daughter showed me the venue and I saw they included the tablecloths and voltives I was excited! Then when we all got there the beauty of the venue is breath taking! This place has the planning process down with such precision and from Lisa, the Owner, the Coordinators, the Baker and all the Staff, the Professionalism and attention is amazing! I have had so many of the guest say it was the most beautiful venue they have ever been! I'm a bit sad that the wedding is over because I'll miss going there! Another amazing aspect is the bridal party, families and guest can stay at the cottages which are located right on property! Rosalie in the Provisions is amazing! And, the rooms and take away basket breakfast is top notch! Do not leave without checking if they have some of their homemade salted caramels! Definitely add the Mill to your list to check out. I'm sure you will get that feeling as we all did when we first saw this venue!

Absolutely Perfect Venue

You cannot go wrong with The Mill at Fine Creek. They are really good at what they do and very efficient when it comes to weddings. I highly recommend this venue to anyone looking for a beautiful place with everything taken care of for you, and may different options to customize the space and make it unique to your wedding vision.

We knew we wanted a venue that had a very all inclusive feel where we wouldn't have to worry about booking a ton of other vendors (ie. in house catering, in house alcohol (with a wide variety of local selections), tables/chairs/linens provided, on site lodging, and a place that wasn't far outside the Richmond area.
We were extremely satisfied with the services provided, and loved working with Colleen and Lisa, and appreciate all of their help. Our wedding was absolutely perfect, and we got SO many compliments about the venue and the delicious food. We wouldn't have changed a thing about it!

The Perfect Venue

As soon as I toured the Mill at Fine Creek I knew it was the perfect venue for my wedding this past March. I couldn't have asked for a more organized and amazing experience. Colleen did a fantastic job as the coordinator for the event. The food and pastries, also done by chefs at the Mill, was delicious. We got so many compliments on both the beautiful venue and the delicious food. Overall, this was a fantastic venue that I would definitely recommend.

No stress for us, a beautiful day!

As a couple who was weary about the planning process and wanted to get married in less than 6 months we were nervous as things began but choosing The Mill was the best choice we made throughout the process! We didn't have any idea what we were doing, or what was next on the to-do list but working with Colleen and the rest of the staff filled us with such a peace. With flexibility in every area, a wide knowledge of vendor connections, a beautiful space inside and out, and an amazing onsite Coordinator that knows the venue so well, we had the most beautiful wedding day. We can't say enough kind words, this is totally your venue!

I recently booked with them. I love this place and the owner is so gracious to still give us the old price when we first inquired with them. Their food are amazing too. My fiancé and I at least go here twice a year even if it’s two hours away from us.

The perfect wedding with a hurricane in the Carolinas!

The Mill at Fine Creek is a unique venue that gave my husband and I exactly what we were looking for in a wedding venue. We loved the ruins, the river, the cottages, and the brewery. Their team was extraordinary from start to finish and made our jobs easy. Our parents didn’t help with the planning so we took on the whole wedding on our own. Colleen and Stephanie were friendly and responsive, and helped us every steps of the way and answered all our questions. The week of our wedding a hurricane was heading our way and ended up hitting the Carolinas instead. Their team was prepared in case of everything; umbrellas, backup generator, etc. They reassured me and we talked about all the possible outcomes. My husband and I ended up having the wedding of our dreams, outside in the ruins. It was perfect and I know that the Mill’s team’s hard work was all behind it. The food was amazing and all my vegan/vegetarian friends were thrilled by the options offered. Thank you for the support, help and the hard work. We would recommend this amazing venue to anyone.

The Mill is incredible. Every single person that works there makes you feel like you're family. We felt so organized from the very beginning because of all of their help and attentiveness!! The venue itself is beautiful, all of the food is AMAZING, the beer from the brewery is awesome, honestly everything is perfect!!! We booked all the cottages on site for our family/wedding party as well and those could not be better either! HIGHLY recommend!!

The perfect wedding experience!

We had an absolutely amazing experience with The Mill at Fine Creek. We got married in October of 2018 and could not have asked for a better wedding. If you are considering having your wedding at the Mill but haven't visited yet, one visit will decide for you. My husband researched venues all over Virginia and DC, but we both knew right away when we visited the Mill that it was right for us. It is a beautiful place and the pictures hardly do it justice.

The entire experience of preparing for our wedding with the Mill was seamless. Throughout the planning process the staff at the Mill was incredibly helpful, guiding us through the process and reminding us of things we hadn't even thought of.

One of the biggest reasons we chose to have our wedding at the Mill initially was the flexibility we could have with our menu. Lisa is so easy to work with and is so creative in the kitchen. She made it so easy for us to choose our menu. The food was phenomenal! We loved every single dish, and Lisa even suggested a fun mid-dinner drink with champagne and sorbet that matched perfectly with our signature cocktail.

The word I would use to describe our wedding day is again "seamless." You have access to the site pretty much all day, which gave us plenty of time to not feel rushed as we got everything set up. Throughout the morning and afternoon, the staff was available to help us with anything we needed. Special thanks to Hannah for being available and making us feel so welcome.

I would highly recommend spending the marginal extra amount to work with one of the Mill's day-of-coordinators. Colleen was our day-of-coordinator and was nothing short of amazing. Every time I turned around, Colleen was ready for the next step of the night. From the start of the wedding on, I never stressed about what was coming next because Colleen was always organized and ready.

We loved having the beautiful cottages right next to the venue as well. Family and friends were able to stay there and simply walk back to their rooms after the wedding festivities. The brewery has some great food and we had a lot of fun with family and friends hanging out there the night before our wedding.

Our entire wedding experience was perfect. We couldn’t be happier and I am so glad we chose The Mill at Fine Creek!

P.S. We are a same-sex couple, and the Mill treated us with the utmost respect and made us feel completely comfortable.

My husband and I found the Mill online and the first time we went to visit we immediately fell in love. Lisa is absolutely incredible and Stephanie, Colleen, Melissa, Hannah and team made us feel incredibly special. Even though they have so many couples they are working with we always felt like they gave us their full attention when we talked. The care and attention to detail gave us confidence that we would have a great wedding. I recommend hiring them not only for your venue but also wedding planning. It was the easiest, most relaxed day and we just got to spend it with each other and family and friends. Best decision we made, our family stayed in the cottages and we enjoyed the Mill all to ourselves!

Couldn’t be a better place to have a wedding. The weather was beautiful! The service was amazing and the food was DELICIOUS!!! Yummy, yummy, yummy!

This location is breath taking. So many places on site to be married. We got married by the water. My guest loved the view and the silent/loud enough sound of the water.

The staff, nothing but smiles and always helpful. They respond quickly to emails and always willing to help you make your best day the best!

The also have vendors they like working with but are willing to be outside the box. The food is a must from this location. Delicious!

My husband and I knew The Mill at Fine Creek was where we wanted to have our wedding from the second we drove onto the property. The cottages were being built at the time, but we had our close friends and family make reservations from the blueprints alone.

Fast forward 18 months to our big day...the weather was hot and the skies were becoming threatening, but Colleen and staff stood ready should we have to make a last minute switch from holding our ceremony in the pergola to inside. Fortunately, the weather held out until the reception where our guests enjoyed delicious food and drinks. Many commented it was some of the best food at a wedding they had ever had. We had a special family recipe we requested be made and served with the passed hors d’oeuvres. Lisa and her team executed upon this beautifully.

The Mill takes great care to make your wedding planning easy and pays attention to even the smallest detail. Following the wedding, my husband realized his cuff link had broken and one side lost. He was disappointed, as he had them made as a keepsake of our day, but knew we’d never find the lost piece. When we arrived home and began unpacking our things, there was an envelope containing the missing piece. It’s as though Colleen and staff were fairy godmothers quietly correcting anything that tried to go astray. If you’re on the fence about hiring their day-of coordinating services, we absolutely recommend them. Colleen and team not only made sure everything went off without a hitch, but she saw to it that my husband and I were taken care of, had time to eat, and even led us to portable air conditioning to cool down after the ceremony while she bustled my gown.

Rosalie at The Provisions Shop makes the cottage experience feel like your staying with a beloved family member. She’s so accommodating, genuinely kind, and a delightful presence who was adored by us and all of our guests.

The Mill is an enchanting venue with a top notch team!

The Mill at Fine Creek is a beautiful location to hold the ceremony and reception. The Mill has multiple outdoor locations for a wedding, and we opted to have the ceremony in the old mill ruins. It's just gorgeous and charming. We particularly liked some photos of the mill ruins under the strings of lights. My wife and I fell in love with the site as soon as we arrived the first time.

You choose a venue because of the size and location of course, but you also need to feel comfortable with the people there that they can turn your vision into reality. The Mill's team is first rate. The Mill offers a wedding coordinator service, which we highly recommend. We worked primarily with Stephanie and Lisa, the chef/owner. The other wedding coordinator Colleen was also involved in the planning. We found all of them to be friendly, helpful, flexible and accommodating throughout the planning process. When we had a DJ no-show crisis during the day of the wedding, they went way above and beyond to deal with it.

The food was excellent during the cocktail hour and dinner. Several guests commented that you don't typically go to weddings expecting great food, but this food was exceptional. We agreed. We also had Pierre design and bake our wedding cake, and that was excellent too.

The Millers Cottage is a great place for the groomsmen to hang out during the day and also nice to stay for the night after the wedding so you don't have to drive somewhere. It's really a nice unexpected feature of the property. Try to reserve the guest cottages as well for key family members so they don't have to travel after the wedding too.

Overall, we highly recommend the Mill because of the beautiful location, amazing team of people and great food!

We knew The Mill was going to be our wedding venue the moment we walked in. The venue is absolutely gorgeous; unlike any other. The atmosphere is something you won't find anywhere else. The staff demonstrated the utmost professionalism and flexibility, even when dealing with a busy bride like myself! Lisa (owner, head chef) was amazing. She assisted us in creating the most wonderful menu, while staying within our budget. Colleen and Stephanie (coordinators) were consistently available prior to our wedding, to help us plan the day of our dreams and nail down all of the important details. The day of the wedding, they ensured everything ran smoothly, and eased transitions throughout our day. Pierre did such a beautiful job with our cake. He was able to make our dream a reality; we were so impressed that it was everything we asked for. We were so grateful for all of the staff at this gorgeous venue.

I honestly cannot say enough good things about the Mill. From the first minute we visited, Colleen, Lisa, and Stephanie were 100% on top of everything. They were accommodating and communicative and extremely pleasant and receptive to our ideas and questions. Our guests RAVED about the food and at least 90% of our guests made a point of telling us that it was hands down the best wedding food they had ever had. Not only was everything delicious, it was different from the wedding food norm - Lisa sits down with the bride and groom and hand selects each item and cultivates the menu personally, so it is unique and reflects each couple's personal tastes. Our guests also raved about the location - I don't think anybody had been to the property before and they were blown away with how distinct and beautiful it was. I keep using the word unique because it is honestly the best way to describe the Mill. The property is extremely unique and so different from any other venue I have ever been to. There are tons of cute places for guests to explore and the property makes for great photos. We also lucked out because the cottages on property were ready for our wedding. They were AMAZING - each is super cute and beautiful and so much more special than a hotel. There are only 13, but they range from 1 to 3 bedroom cottages, so there is room for a lot of guests. It was so nice to be able to walk over to the cottages after the wedding and be able to spend some extra time with our friends in such a gorgeous environment. To top it off, breakfast in the morning at the cottages is amazing, all of our guests were blown away. The general store provides adorable picnic baskets filled with delicious breakfast. It was honestly the perfect wedding. The last thing to reiterate and really drive home is how great the service was. Our wedding party was sort of a mess. As soon as I went for a tour, I knew that The Mill at Fine Creek was the perfect venue. Not only because it is absolutely beautiful, but because they are wedding pros and know how to make the day go perfectly smooth (thanks to Colleen and Stephanie, the in-house wedding coordinators). The food was delicious and a good time was had by all. We also stayed in the new cottages, which was perfect. I can't recommend them enough!!

My husband and I recently had our June Wedding at The Mill, although our experience with them started over a year ago when we booked our venue.
I had done extensive research in the Washington D.C. and surrounding areas looking for a venue that gave 10+ hours of time at the venue and had the ability to also have an outdoor ceremony, was all-inclusive, and had a certain je ne sais quoi factor. I decided to only tour those places, and The Mill was the first venue we went to. We booked right away because we loved the grounds, the ceremony sites (they will completely turn the inside around for "Plan D" rain plan) which was very important to us. We loved that there were cottages on site that my parents and I stayed in the night before the wedding, and several of or wedding guests appreciated the no shuttling! Our guests also took advantage of the new brewery up the street, and it was a great way to keep people and family entertained prior to the wedding itself.
The day of the wedding everything was seamless. I proceeded to the upstairs bridal suite, where there were cookies and mimosas waiting! The ability to start our day early was crucial for pictures. The coordinators Stephanie and Colleen helped our other vendors (dessert, photo booth, photography, videography) set up and took care of them all day. The coordinators were so amazing welcoming and directing guests to the ceremony.
Following, the venue passed out sangria to all our guests and they meandered to cocktail hour and the bar while we took our pictures. My father, who is gluten-free and hard to impress, was approached by multiple staff members with gluten-free options of the passed hors d'oeuvres. Two of our other GF guests rexperiences. Not to mention that the food was amazing, even better than what I remember eating at our tasting!
We and our guests had so much fun and wanted for nothing. You will not be dissatisfied with The Mill! Everything is first class and done with attention to detail.

I have got to say The Mill at Fine Creek is the best venue I could have asked for to have my wedding at. They make sure everything is to how you want it, and they make you feel like family. Every moment of my wedding was incredible. The atmosphere and grounds of the venue helped create my dream wedding. When it came to the food I have to say I wish I could eat it every single day! The staff was very professional, and were ready for everything. I used the onsite coordinator Colleen, and she made me feel relaxed and calm. I knew she had everything under control. I could not have been as happy with my wedding if we had it somewhere else. We loved the venue, and our guests loved the venue too. They are still raving about it a month later. We are so thankful with how the wedding went, and they were a big part of that.

I can't say enough about this venue. The natural setting is stunning and well kept and the staff is just the best. The planners they have are the sweetest and so organized. The food was to die for. This was a perfect venue, period. We were planning everything out of town so only had a few times to actually go to the venue and talk to someone but Lisa and her staff were always accommodating; especially, Colleen, she was there answering every email and kept me updated throughout the planning. Actually, we were in correspondence for over a year if you think about it and every response I got back I knew there was time and care taken to find the answer. To have a reception and ceremony all in one place was ideal--we had all out of towners so this was crucial to know that no one would be getting lost or there was an lag time in between events. We even had our rehearsal dinner there in the cottage site which was the perfect intimate gathering. From start to finish, this venue is of high caliber.

The staff at The Mill really went out of their way to make our day special. Lisa helped us to craft a unique and perfect menu; from hors d'oeuvres to the meal, she worked with us to make sure we were optimizing what was in season and fresh in their garden. Mark was patient with us crafting signature cocktails and making sure the bar was stocked with everything our guests would desire. And Colleen is so meticulous, she made sure all of our requests were addressed and answered what seemed like a hundred emails from us as we were in the planning process.

The Mill is a very professional venue as well. They worked in concert with our planner and vendors, may of whom were recommended by the staff at The Mill.

If you are looking for a picturesque, all-in-one, make your day stress-free venue, this is it!

I almost cannot find the words to describe how wonderful our wedding at The Mill was. The difference between the Mill and other venues is the details. At The Mill, they took care of the smallest details. From snacks and drinks in the getting ready areas to always been able to answer questions to finding the missing bustle loop in about half a second, the staff at the Mill has it covered! They took care of every little thing so that we could relax. For example, they lit the candles in the center pieces and even printed a sign we forgot to make! The food was delicious, to the point my family was trying to recreate a few days later. From the moment we got there to the moments before the ceremony when all the jitters are hitting to the moments after the reception has ended and you realize you are starving, the staff was two steps ahead of us and always had what we needed (including extra plates of dinner and cake in the cottage)! We cannot recommend the Mill enough! We were so well taken care of, I hope someone I know gets married at the Mill so I get to go back!

Lisa and her team at The Mill are amazing. You get to customize every detail of your wedding. We really enjoyed not having to work up a plan B in case of rain; the Mill team does all of that for you. When we found The Mill, we were immediately sold. We then started getting nervous that The Mill wouldn’t be able to live up to the hype. Everyone we came across who knew of The Mill gave rave reviews about Colleen and Lisa, the food and the atmosphere. We were not at all disappointed. The wedding was beautiful, Colleen made sure it went so smoothly. The food was AMAZING and definitely lived up to the hype. Between Colleen sitting down with us on multiple occasions to make sure our vision was realized and Lisa personally crafting our menu to include some of our favorite homemade recipes, they made sure our wedding was personal and perfect. We got so many compliments on the venue and the food and cannot imagine our wedding taking place in another location. We even had some recently married friends tell us they wish they had found this venue AND not-so-recently married friends talk about renewing their vows here! I would absolutely recommend!

My husband and I absolutely loved getting married here! Some notable points:
-The environment: I fell in love with this venue on instagram, without having actually visited the grounds :-P In the summer, there's a lot of lush greenery, and the mill ruins were perfect for the "intimate garden" theme that I was going for. I loved that the scenery was already so beautiful and didn't really require any additional decorations.
-The FOOD: to die for!!! Every one of my wedding guests loved the food!!!!! The Mill definitely excels at their hors d'oeuvres (honestly, I wish I'd chosen a looser dress so that I could've scarfed down more food) and the main courses were stand outs as well. I definitely recommend their crab cakes, tempura eggplant, as well as their sea bass! We loved that Lisa was willing to incorporate an Asian flavor profile to the Seared Sea Bass and all the guests loved it! If you're able to, I'd recommend choosing the $95/person option for the food. It's definitely a very cost efficient option considering all the different types of dishes that are included in the price.
-The people and the venue as a whole: We loved how there were no "hidden charges". All prices, tips, taxes, other costs were given up front. There were no "extra charges" for the silverware, the chairs, and the linens. Colleen, Stephanie, and Lisa were so accessible and they always made an effort to respond back to an e-mail within 24 hours (even on a day where the entire state of Virginia was covered in snow). The entire wedding party loved having everything at the actual venue (bridal suite and groom's cottage) and once the new cottages open up, I'm sure that'll be even more convenient for future wedding guests! I'd write even more but I'm limited to a certain number of words :( when I contacted them in January of 2016, every weekend was already reserved except for 2 fridays, so book early!--Vivian

Not only is the venue breathtakingly gorgeous, but the staff is so amazing. Lisa, Colleen and team made sure that our day went so perfect. With 4 different ceremony options and so much variety to choose from in food The Mill at Fine Creek is worth every penny. The day of coordinator services are well worth the cost as well. My bridesmaids and I stayed In the on site cottage the night before our wedding (we had a Friday wedding) and the venue was so willing to let us use any decor they had with minimal cost associated. I cannot say enough how beautiful and perfect the venue is. Can't wait to go back and see the brewery and guest cottages once complete. You won't be sorry booking here!

Truly the entire staff of The Mill really out-did themselves. From the moment we first toured the venue we just knew it was the correct choice. It was the first place we visited and we had several on our list to check out, but we just knew we had found our perfect place and the list went into the wastebasket.

Everyone was so easy to work with, flexible and absolutely put what few concerns we had to rest. The place is gorgeous inside and out with lots of options for the ceremony, the food delicious, and the assistance we got during every meeting was incredible. All follow-up emails were quickly answered. The rehearsal went great and on the day of the wedding we all felt like royalty.

I knew we were "just the next wedding on the calendar," but in reality the entire staff made us feel like we were the only wedding they had to do. We just felt so loved and pampered and cared for in every regard all day long. The personal touches were unbelievable.

Up until the the day of the wedding we had only met with the owner/caterer or coordinator, but on the day of we were fully accommodated beginning early in the day (a Saturday). And as the time for the ceremony drew near, we began to see all the staff appear and everything just come together - we felt like we were in a dream. The fine details they attended to were truly wonderful. Our guests were made comfortable despite the warm temperature, and every single thing was on their radar and done perfectly. Not a single detail was left undone. The groom's mom told me afterwards that friends of theirs said they go to a lot of weddings but that this was the nicest they had ever been to. And, many other guests expressed similar compliments.

I just can't say enough good things about The Mill at Fine Creek. Their kind and gracious hospitality got the marriage off to a wonderful start.

I recently had my wedding and reception at The Mill at Fine Creek and cannot say enough about this incredible venue. The grounds, facilities and staff are nothing short of first rate. Lisa, Stephanie and Colleen were so attentive throughout the planning process and the day of. We planned to have our ceremony in the ruins, but it rained off and on throughout the day. At the last minute, we decided to move the ceremony indoors and the staff did not bat an eye - I am so grateful for their flexibility. Our guests are still raving about the food (the mini chicken and waffle passed appetizers were a runway hit!) and the service by the entire team. I was so impressed by everything and everyone at the Mill and I thank them for making our day so amazing.

I cant say enough good things about the mill at fine creek. We selected this venue because it is beautiful and unique and had amazing reviews online. The venue itself is gorgeous and the building and grounds are so well maintained. The service was beyond my expectations; there was always someone to answer my questions. Colleen was our day of coordinator and she took care of everything, making sure that I didn't have to worry about a thing on the day of. The food was amazing, we loved getting to create our own menu with Lisa. Guests kept telling us all night how great the food was. Our wedding at the mill exceeded all of me expectations. They paid attention to every detail, and you could tell throughout the process not only how professional and knowledgeable each member of the staff is, but also how much they enjoy their jobs. We got married at the mill on an overcast day in the last weekend of April. We arrived early (us girls) and got to use the bridal suite all day. We had an amazing time and the mimosas were a perfect touch! It was plenty of space for us to get ready. Our ceremony took place in the ruins and was perfect, Colleen and Stephanie were amazing coordinators helping us think through the day. Everyone loved the food and drinks! Set up an appointment to tour The Mill at Fine Creek. It is such a unique, charming and romantic venue. We liked the fact that there are several possible outdoor spots to choose for your ceremony and enough space for an indoor ceremony if that is preferred or needed due to the weather. We fell in love with The Mill's setting. It was exactly what we were looking for in a venue and was even better that we could have both our ceremony and reception in one location. Colleen was great through the planning process providing her expertise and tips to a smooth and enjoyable day. However, I think I was the most thrilled with the service provided that day. We didn't have to worry about anything. The staff at The Mill was attentive and did not miss a beat. They helped to set up our special touches and keep everyone on schedule. Colleen's wedding coordinator service for the day-of was so worth the peace it brought to us and our families that day. Not really having much of an option in terms of catering was a huge relief for us. The Mill helped to create our perfect menu and suggested substitutes where needed. We even had a couple of guests with food allergies that we were able to appease. The entire menu that day tasted amazing. The cocktail hour food was displayed exactly how I imagined and the appetizers and entrees were delicious. We received numerous compliments that this was the best wedding food they had ever had. The Mill's various locations such as the bridal suite and cottage for the men made our day stress-free being able to have everyone on site all together.

My husband and I both lived out of town while planning our wedding at the Mill. The entire staff was very helpful through the planning process. Lisa did a phenomenal job helping us make decisions and Colleen was so pleasant and efficient with her planning. Our guests were stunned with the venue and how beautiful and romantic the Mill was. In addition, our guests were thrilled with the friendliness of the staff. We had a November ceremony in the ruins with our reception inside. The Mill at Fine Creek is a a hidden gem. Not only is it an absolutely gorgeous venue but everyone that works there is extremely nice. Lisa, chef and owner, makes the best food and is great when planning your menu. She takes the food above and beyond. In our case, we needed a blend of Indian and American food and she took our needs and provided us with the perfect menu to satisfy all wedding attendees. A lot of places you go to aren't willing to stray from the typical menu but Lisa is very upfront and even says if there is a family recipe you want made for your wedding she is willing to take that and make it for your day. Colleen, the in-house coordinator, is absolutely amazing to work with. Any questions you have she is quick to respond and puts you at ease with any worries you may have. Our guests absolutely loved the venue and we got so many compliments about our choice on picking The Mill at Fine Creek.

We cannot say enough about how wonderful the Mill at Fine Creek is! The views are incredible, the staff is professional, kind and extremely helpful, and the food is the best. We planned our wedding from Chicago and relied heavily on Colleen, Stephanie and Lisa for planning assistance since we could not be there in person for the most part. They were all flexible with our schedules and doing phone meetings. The day of our wedding ran very smoothly and we got to enjoy every second of it without any stress or worries. Our guests loved the amazing bar selection and the "best food" at a wedding ever. We highly recommend the chocolate chip bread pudding. It's sooo good that we ordered a smaller wedding cake and added this as an additional dessert - it disappeared! We had an amazing time and highly recommend using them for your special day!

We just had our ceremony and reception at The Mill. We are eternally grateful for the service provided by the entire team. All of our guests made sure to tell us that this venue was absolutely amazing and it was the most beautiful venue they had ever been to. So thankful!

Our experience with Lisa and staff was phenomenal. The grounds are breathtaking and we couldn't have picked a better place. I want to live there.

My daughter and son-in-law were married at The Mill. Lisa, the owner and chef, helped us design an elegant menu for our guests. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. Colleen and Stephanie responded promptly to all our questions and covered every detail in planning the wedding day. Our guests raved about the venue site, food and service. We also enjoyed the exclusive use of the venue which added to the intimacy of the celebration.

My husband and I got married at The Mill at Fine Creek in early September, and we had an amazing experience!!! Colleen, Lisa, and Stephanie were so helpful and responsive throughout the entire year of planning leading up to the big day. We ended up having our ceremony on the lawn with the ruins behind us, and it was the perfect venue. It was so nice that the bridesmaids and groomsmen could get ready there too! We had everything we needed all morning getting ready, and it went very smoothly. Also the food was really important to us, and we were able to create custom meal with Lisa and it was delicious! Many of our guests have made comments saying how delicious all the food was and how much they enjoyed the wedding. I am so glad we chose The Mill and would definitely recommend it to friends and family!

My husband and I had our wedding and reception at The Mill in August. Lisa and Colleen were lovely to work with. They were responsive and professional. We booked with them because my husband and I didn't want just any wedding venue with average wedding food. The venue is stunning and every single thing that comes out of their kitchen is of the highest homemade quality. Even a month after the wedding our guests are still talking about how amazing the food and drinks were! The Mill is pricey but if you're looking for a home away from home and to work with some great wedding professionals, you most definitely need to check out The Mill. Our wedding was out of a fairytale!

You have got to pick The Mill at Fine Creek for your wedding venue!!!! It was absolutely perfect in every way! From day 1, the staff was very easy to work with and contact. They answered all of our questions and helped to create the dream wedding that was always in my mind. They made the wedding planning process so easy and enjoyable. The day of the wedding went without a hitch because of the Mill's coordinators! They helped with all the details so my family and I could sit back and enjoy this special day. The food was beyond our expectations. Lisa is the chef on site and helps to create your dream menu. She uses fresh food from her garden and really puts her heart into her dishes. My husband and I are "foodies" and really enjoyed everything! I cannot tell you enough how beautiful the grounds are. Our guests were so impressed and said this was the best wedding they've ever been to! I have NOTHING bad to say at all about The Mill at Fine Creek! Thank you for everything!!!!!

The Mill at Fine Creek is the most picturesque setting for a wedding. Not only are the grounds beautiful, the indoor reception venue is breathtaking as well. On top of the physical beauty of the space, the staff is just as incredible. Colleen was our wedding coordinator at the venue, and she helped our day run so smoothly. She was friendly and professional and was always there to answer my questions. She always responded in a timely manner and she made me feel comfortable going into the day. Carrie does a beautiful job of setting up the tables - I didn't have to go downstairs once during hair and makeup and I was in awe when I saw her finished product. Lastly, Lisa and her team do an incredible job in the kitchen. I had quite a few guests tell me how good the food was and that made me so happy. My goal was to have great food, and the guests were raving about it!! If you are concerned about the price, do a Friday wedding at the venue. You will not regret it. It was everything I could have imagined and more! A huge thank you to the Mill at Fine Creek for helping to make our day so magical.

I can't say enough about how amazing my experience was at the Mill! During planning, Colleen and Stephanie answered every little question and thought of every fine detail about the big day. Lisa, the owner and caterer, sat with us to create a customized menu and executed it to perfection.

On the day of our wedding, everything went better than I ever could've imagined- I truly don't have one, single thing to complain about. My bridal party and I stayed in the cottage onsite the night before, woke up the next day and leisurely prepared for the wedding. Carrie checked in on us all day, brought mimosas and double checked the details. When it was showtime, Stephanie made sure that the wedding party and vendors knew exactly where to be and when. Dinner service was impeccable- these guys are a well-oiled machine! Stephanie made sure the wedding party ate some appetizers between the ceremony and reception, and dinner was served quickly with no hiccups.

The three things I heard over and over and over again from my guests:
1) The venue was unbelievably beautiful
2) The service was incredible
3) The food was amazing!

Choosing the Mill was the best wedding choice I made (aside from the Groom, of course). I can't thank these guys enough!

This is a beautiful, well run venue with indoor and outdoor space. The owner is on site and has a professional, polished staff. If you want an elegant and unique venue, this is the place to come.

The entire staff at the Mill was wonderful to work with from helping me identify vendors, making a dinner selection that all our guests raved about and overall making my day smooth and drama free. This was the perfect location for my husband and I and we are so glad we chose to get married there.

They have been so wonderful with my wedding planning. They are quick to respond to any questions, almost everything has been included to make our wedding day as perfect as possible. And, not to mention, the venue ground are absolutely beautiful! so excited for our big day!

The Mill is beautiful and I wouldn't have wanted my wedding anywhere else. It is clean, updated and just beautiful. They were very flexible with taking pictures there for our engagement pics and day of wedding. They made a menu that fit our budget and wants. The food was AMAZING! They did the little things, like making sure the wedding party had food before the reception b/c they knew we might not eat during the reception, to packing plates of food for us (bride and groom) for the next day in the cabin fridge where we spent the night that night. I would recommend this place to anyone. It was a great experience!

This is the best, most spectacular, amazing place ever! I could not have asked for a better site. It was amazing, breathtaking, and left all the guests and myself speechless. There are no words to describe how amazing and wonderful it was. The staff was excellent and handled everything to a T! They handle to catering, the planning, literally EVERYTHING! This is a must have place! Cannot wait to go back for our 1 year for anniversary photos!

The Mill at Fine Creek is an amazing venue for a wedding! We had a small group (40 people), in the ruins at sunset. It was Absolutley gorgeous- Everything fromThe grounds, flowers, landscape, etc. They take care of your every need!!!! The reception was beautiful and so many amenities were covered. The food was delicious! I am over the moon excited with how everything turns out! I highly recommend this venue to everyone!

I can't say enough about the beauty of the Mill at Fine Creek. When you first find out your daughter is getting married, their is tremendous joy. Then, you realize you have to plan it! When we met with Colleen at the Mill over a year ago, we knew we had found the perfect place. Since my daughter lived in another state, but was getting married in Richmond, we needed a venue that required few decisions, but allowed us to individualize her wedding. From table cloths to food, we had a wide variety of choices. My daughter and her new husband had a spectacular day full of excellent food, a wide array of drinks and all in a fairy tale setting. We could not have had a better day!
