The Woman's Club of Portsmouth is gorgeous! It was the most beautiful venue for my daughter's wedding. Beautiful architecture and lovely setup for a ceremony and a flip for the reception. Chrissy at the Woman's Club is so attentive and responsive and we could not have been happier with our choice.

The Woman's Club of Portsmouth was absolutely the perfect venue for our December wedding! The possibilities are endless in such a gorgeous space; I originally wanted to add tons of drapery and approximately 2 million more flowers before I was reminded by my now-husband that we did indeed have a budget... but ultimately, we didn't even NEED any of that extra stuff. The new floors and glittering chandeliers are so lovely that even very understated decor looks glamorous! We loved the ease and convenience of having our ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception in one space, and our guests were very pleased with that aspect as well. In addition to the space itself, working with Chrissy was such a joy!! She was so fun and easy to communicate with, and went FAR above and beyond for us MULTIPLE times in the year/month/week leading up to our wedding day. We are so appreciative and cannot reccomend this venue and its staff highly enough! The one cautionary note I would leave for prospective clients is to remind your guests (multiple times) to try to arrive earlier than they think they need to if they are planning on utilizing the complimentary valet parking!! As the venue does not have guest parking directly on site, it can take some time to get everybody in the building, and I wish I had sent another 3-4 reminders to my guests. But that being said, it worked out just fine and I wouldn't even call that a downside or negative at all, considering we understood this from the start, and all of the other amazing attributes of this venue and kindness of the staff!! Our wedding day was literally perfect, and we can't imagine having had it anywhere else. Thank you so much to Chrissy and everybody at WCP that helped make our day so wonderful!!!

The inside is massive and stunning, I had planned for my ceremony to be on the back deck the week of we had to pivot and move the ceremony inside and Chrissy was so helpful getting me connected to the best most affordable vendors to make it happen!

Absolutely gorgeous venue. Everything went smoothly through the entire planning process, and day of was perfect! Lovely bridal suite to get ready in! Front and back porches were a nice touch for guests.

This venue has it all. Natural lighting. A beautiful, Big bridal suite. Plenty of indoor and outdoor space. Beautiful blooming flowers. So many places for photos. And a set upstairs that are the perfect entrance for the bride.

Even though it was 100° outside the temperature inside was cool and comfortable. They offered you plenty of tables and discounted chairs. They are very responsive to your emails.

I can’t say enough great things about this place. I received so many compliments on the building itself and will book it all over again.

This venue is absolutely stunning!! It has everything you need and it’s beauty alone requires minimal decor. We were able to have a beautiful ceremony outside and a reception inside that was incredible. We were even able to have pictures on the water during sunset that turned out beautiful. Super easy to work with the staff and they made sure all of my questions were answered promptly!

WCoP is one of the most stunning, yet hidden, venues in the Hampton Roads area. It was initially our first choice venue, but didn't have our date available. Then came COVID. We had to move our date, and when our original venue couldn't support, we immediately wanted to book back at WCoP.

They were absolutely amazing to work with. It was a tough time as restrictions and capacity limits were changing, as well as CDC guidance, but WCoP was very transparent through it all and the absolute best to work with in the end. We had the venue the whole day, were able to drop things off early, and our vendors had plenty of time to set up.

The bridal suite is gorgeous, there is plenty of room for big wedding parties to hang out all day prior to the ceremony. We opted to hold the ceremony indoors, cocktail hour on the front porch, and then the reception inside once the space was flipped. It was a dream setting. Our pictures in the garden area out back are absolutely stunning and amazing.

The price for this venue was cheaper than a lot of other places we looked, but the quality is far greater. We would book this venue again in a heartbeat if we had to do it all over again.

After attending 3 weddings here, I knew I had to have MY wedding at this venue. Every aspect of this venue is beautiful, from the indoor ballroom to the outside decks. There are many ceremony locations available. We personally chose to have our ceremony indoors in the ballroom and have the room flipped for the reception. We had our cocktail hour on the back deck where guests enjoyed appetizers, drinks, and played corn hole! The bridal suite was perfect and very accommodating for getting a large bridal party ready the morning of the wedding. Overall wonderful experience!

Everything from the staff, the facility itself and the surrounding neighborhood is just amazing. We mainly worked with Brittany and she answered any and all questions that we had. Both her and Kelly made sure that we had all of our documents in on time and sent reminders as often as possible without overwhelming us. Their patience and help was much appreciated throughout such a stressful time. The venue speaks for itself with its beauty. We only had one mishap and it was the power going out for about 2 minutes during our getting ready process, but it was fixed promptly and we had no other issues for the rest of the evening. Seriously one of the best decisions that we made was to book our wedding here!
