The staff here was so amazing. They were open with communication and did great helping make our day great!

AMAZING venue. I had my wedding here. The staff was so helpful and kind and did everything they could to make my day perfect. Also, the food here was soooo good!!! I got a ton of compliments about the food and the venue. It's also nice because they have plates, flatware, servers, etc included so you don't have to rent everything or have a ton of different vendors to keep track of. I really can't say enough good things about this venue!!

Everything about this venue is amazing. Right when we stepped foot inside during our first meeting, we knew it was the one. We mainly communicated with Courtney, and then Catalina, Jessica, and Jamie along the way - and they ALL were very helpful, responsive, and organized. Especially during this COVID wedding season - they all have been a lot of help with our many many questions and inquiries. We actually had to reschedule our wedding from May to July, and it was honestly a breeze to do because of their help. On our wedding day, the venue was absolutely beautiful (it’s already beautiful on its own tbh), cocktail hour at The Shack was awesome (everybody thought it was really cool), our food (buffet) was delicious, the orange crushes (of course) were a hit, etc. etc. etc. We received so many compliments from our guests about the venue and staff. Their customer service was great! Super accommodating. One example: The staff pre-plated our dinner from the buffet before our guests went up, but by the time we would have sat down after taking pictures with each table, our food would have been cold. When we finally sat down, we didn’t even start eating yet, when Jamie came over and re-plated our dinner so that our food would be nice and warm for us, and then took our cold food to be boxed up. It was so great to experience such hospitality. She was also very accommodating with our family setting up a last minute video slideshow. Festival on 8th is the greatest wedding venue, at least in our opinion ;) We even have family members who want to inquire in holding their own events there! :) THANK YOU FOR SUCH AN AMAZING AND UNFORGETTABLE WEDDING JOURNEY

We had our wedding here 2/22/2020 and it was THE BEST DAY EVER!!! Catalina helped us start planning this special day a year in advance before we even moved to Virginia Beach. She is AMAZING and was so responsive and helpful to my many (and I mean MANY) emails. The space is absolutely beautiful on its own and so versatile!! A little bit of greenery and the space was as beautiful as all the Pinterest photos I had been dreaming of. The location is perfect for all of your out of town guests!! Literally the hotels were all directly across the street and the parking garage conveniently right next door. And the food!!!! A month later and our guests are still calling to rave about how delicious the food was and how attentive the staff were!!!! Do yourself a favor and make sure you order the fried shrimp appetizers and the mini crab cakes (or full size!!!), I’m still drooling. Not only was the food spectacular, they packaged up all the left over food from the Buffett and we had dinner for the next week, score! And lastly, the open concept of the space is just amazing. We had kids join us for our celebration and we had room to dance and for them to run around and have fun with out worrying about anything breaking or being too crowded. You also have the benefit of having an out door space to use to to get some fresh air! Our wedding day was so special and I mean it when I say, the BEST DAY EVER!

I absolutely loved working with Catalina and her team. Everything was amazing, from their communication, to the service on the day of, to the food and cleanliness of the venue. I reached out to Catalina MANY times and she was always prompt in her responses, helpful, understanding and honest. I highly recommend Festival on 8th for any event.

The Festival on 8th was a perfect venue for a bigger wedding. Courtney Whitby worked with us and ensured everything went well along the way as we planned. The day of the wedding was more perfect than I ever could have imagined thanks to the amazing staff of this establishment. I got married at The Festival Center last month and am so happy I chose this venue! The staff are amazing, Catalina is personable, easy to contact, informative, and so helpful. I loved the location, perfect for all of our traveling guests. Options for Hotels and restaurants are endless and within walking distance. The food was beyond delicious!! The price is also very competitive and reasonable. What more could you ask for?

Venue was great! From the attentive staff to the wonderful decor, our wedding day went great. It's so spacious and the bar was in a great location. They really did an awesome job in every way. Catalina was easy to contact, got back to me quickly and always polite and helpful. Jen did great with the management the day of the wedding along with my day-of coordinator, which helped everything go smoothly.

The venue was amazing. The staff was helpful, friendly and acommodating. Catalina was knowledgable and had great input. The food and service was outstanding. I can't think of anything that I would have done different. A great experience on a very special day!

The venue was incredible. From the service down to the presentation. Very prompt and responsive. Catalina met us quite a few times to do venue walkthroughs, some at a moments notice. Allowed for easy planning and set up.
