The Perfect Day!
At the initial stages of learning more about the venue, the Lesner team was incredibly detailed, responsive and patient, even before we were a client! That was a sign of things to come as we primarily worked with the wonderful Alexis Hionis, who has a truly unmatched attention to detail and passion for executing on your vision.
If you end up choosing the Lesner Inn, which you absolutely should, we cannot recommend enough that you use their day of coordination services. Alexis created a timeline for our day that truly left no stone unturned and made sure all of our vendors were on the same page down to the second. The best thing about our wedding was that we didn’t spend a moment on anything other than soaking in what will be one of the best days of our lives. The entire day went off seamlessly and from the second we arrived at the venue, we literally breathed a huge sigh of relief and happiness because Alexis and her team had it COVERED. During our wedding planning, Alexis was always available to talk and the communication was outstanding! She knows her venue like the back of her hand and will have super helpful suggestions.
The venue speaks for itself and we don’t have the words to do it proper justice. We were married on June 1, 2024 and had the ceremony, cocktail hour and reception all at Lesner Inn. The day was an absolute dream. The setting itself is so magical - the golden hour as the sun is going down over the water is just unmatched! The slight breeze off the bay makes it the perfect place to have an outdoor ceremony in the summer. The Lesner Inn went above and beyond in so many little ways, from having a staff member record our ceremony on an iPhone, to having our florist add hints of our color palette to our floral arrangements. The Lesner Inn team is talented, has great taste, and is excited to do everything they can to bring the little things that make your wedding yours to life.
The food was SO good - the Lesner Inn has a plethora of options for both the cocktail hour and dinner. We upgraded our cocktail hour to have an oyster and shrimp cocktail bar, which was a huge hit with our guests. Everyone was raving about the passed appetizers at cocktail hour and the late night snacks that were brought out after dinner! The martini bar was also a guest favorite - everyone feels a bit more ritzy holding a martini glass!
We look back on our wedding day like a dream that we can’t quite decide whether it was actually real. Alexis and her team at the Lesner Inn made that dream a reality.
