We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect place to celebrate our wedding. The venue exceeded every expectation, and the staff is truly exceptional. Alexis and Noelle were our wedding planner and day-of-coordinator, and the planning process and execution went above and beyond in every possible way. Alexis, Noelle, and their team were attentive, organized, and genuinely invested in making our day flawless. We initially chose only the day-of-coordination package, and later added the full planning and design package. Worth every penny! I was spending countless hours trying to bring all the elements of my vision together cohesively. With Alexis and Noelle’s services, the colors, textures, styles, and materials flowed seamlessly, and my vision was brought to life. This alleviated so much stress, and allowed us to actually ENJOY the planning process. They were also incremental in walking us through decisions on design elements to optimize our budget. Lastly, the weeks and days leading up to our wedding were far more peaceful with Alexis and Noelle handling all vendor coordination and communications!

We’ve received several compliments from our guests, many saying it was the best wedding they had ever attended. That wouldn’t have been possible without this amazing team and venue. The Lesner Inn was honestly the perfect place for our wedding and I can't recommend them enough! Working with them took so much stress off our shoulders. Noelle and Laine were especially amazing! They walked us through every detail and made sure everything was timed out great. On the day of the wedding, they more than knocked it out of the park, they went above and beyond! The setup was amazing, the decorations beautiful, the food tasty, and the staff so coordinated and proactive. Laine and Noelle even helped the me (the bride) with a dress malfunction. We got so many compliments from guests about how great our wedding was and we never would have been able to pull it off if not for the Lesner Inn and its amazing staff.

As someone who plans events for a living, I had high hopes for my own bridal shower — but The Lesner Inn exceeded every single expectation. I asked for one thing: a “Romantic Comedy” theme… and what I walked into was an absolute dream. Every detail was thought out to perfection — from the florals to the signage to the perfectly timed surprises. The space was stunning, the food was so delicious, the cocktails were spot on, and the service was incredible. I cried (more than once), laughed until my face hurt, and felt completely overwhelmed in the best way. It was magic — truly one of the most meaningful days of my life — and I’m endlessly grateful to the team at The Lesner Inn for making it all happen. 💖 If you’re thinking about hosting your shower, rehearsal, or wedding here… do it. This may be biased, but I promise you, it will be everything!

My husband and I got married here on June 8 and the whole entire day was magical. We worked with Britne, who was an absolute angel. From the moment we first toured, she provided a wealth of knowledge, was a joy to work with, answered every question big or small, helped guide our vision, provided insights and ideas, and was just an all-around rock star. Because of her professionalism and expertise in planning, our wedding day went off without a hitch. Neither my husband nor I felt stressed or rushed on our wedding day because we knew that Britne and the Lesner Inn team had everything under control. They coordinated with our vendors to make sure everyone was on the same page, helped build a seamless timeline and kept us on track, and honestly it was just such a joy to spend our wedding day surrounded by people who are professional but also were so kind, happy for us, and fun to be with. We worked out every single tiny detail in our planning meetings, and Britne really took the time to understand how we wanted our wedding day to go. Day of, she made sure people were where they were supposed to be and when, personally made sure people with allergies had the proper meals, kept all of our vendors moving smoothly throughout the day, and I'm positive she did hundreds of other things that we didn’t even know about to keep the event running smoothly. Throughout the wedding day, she was always nearby and ready to help if we needed her. Our wedding party and families would all say the same thing - it felt like she was always in many places at once and exactly where she needed to be to help us. Truly, if Britne (and I’m sure anyone else on the Lesner Inn team) is helping you plan your wedding, you are in the best hands and are going to have the best day!!!

Lesner Inn itself is also such a gorgeous venue. The views are stunning, the space worked perfectly, and my husband and I truly felt like it fit the vibe for “us” as a couple completely. The ceremony space was incredible and had the stunning water views we were looking for. I loved that we were able to be outside, but fully covered so that we didn’t have to worry about the weather. The cocktail hour space was gorgeous and worked out perfectly for everyone while we took photos. Finally, the reception space was absolutely perfect. It was the right amount of space that we didn’t feel crowded, but still felt very intimate. I loved the views of the water through the windows and all the light it provided.

The food was great, we got lots of great reviews of the cocktail hour appetizers and the dinner entrees. We opted to have a crush bar at our cocktail hour, which was a huge hit. We loved being able to incorporate this Virginia Beach staple for all of our guests (especially the out of towners) to enjoy. The bartender staff was incredible and so efficient. We had 150 guests and two bars and I never saw a long line at either of the bars.

All in all, I would recommend Lesner Inn to anyone looking for a venue with spectacular views and an amazing team. Truly, having an elite team working your wedding is the biggest game changer. It was so amazing to have thorough planning meetings and an expert team so that we were able to show up at the venue with everything already in motion and the event being run without myself, my husband, or our family members having to lift a finger. We trusted them wholeheartedly and they absolutely delivered everything we could have dreamed of and more. Thank you, thank you, THANK YOU!!

There aren't enough positive words to say about the Lesner Inn and how well our wedding went!! Alexis was our event coordinator and she was just the BEST! Everything went SO well. Their recommended vendors are amazing and they make everything incredibly easy to plan and coordinate for your special day. We could not recommend Britne and the entire Lesner team highly enough! The venue is gorgeous with stunning water views - our guests loved the views during cocktail hour on the Waterside Deck and taking in the sunset on the Sunset Deck. Britne is sweet, friendly, organized, attentive to detail, and was incredibly responsive to all our questions big and small throughout the planning process. On our wedding day, she helped ensure our day ran smoothly and our vision was executed perfectly. We loved being able to coordinate our catering, beverages, and many of our rentals directly through Lesner. Highly recommend Lesner Inn for your event!

As a photographer, this was a beautiful venue to work at! Grounds are big for different backdrops and the scenery is amazing, especially a sunset. very helpful staff as well.

The entire staff was so helpful throughout the entire process. The initial tour with Britne, the design services meetings with Alexis, the tasting, the rehearsal, EVERYTHING was amazing. We honestly could not have had a better wedding day. Everyone had such an amazing time! Our family didn't have to worry about all the details / logistics and they could just enjoy the day which is truly a wedding gift that we will never forget. We chose The Lesner Inn for our wedding this past July and I could not be happier that we did. The venue is gorgeous, and you cannot beat the amazing view. The food was absolutely fantastic, the staff was top notch, and our guests were blown away! When planning our wedding here, we initially decided to not have a “Day of Coordinator” as our wedding party only consisted of myself, my now husband, and my daughter. I thought with having a small wedding party that I could do this on my own. Thank goodness I changed my mind because hiring Britne was the best thing we could have done! She was absolutely amazing! Britne was super responsive, provided great suggestions, and helped me talk through everything when I started to become completely overwhelmed with planning. As it got closer to our big day, she responded to all of my panic emails quickly and put me at ease. She went above and beyond with everything. For example, a few weeks before our wedding, she was outside on the Sunset deck playing the songs for our ceremony and figuring out how long it would take for my entrance to make sure the music faded at the perfect time. No matter what I asked, big or small (like if she would help me get into my dress), she was there to help with a smile on her face. She is the reason our wedding was perfect. Following our reception, my husband and I looked at each other and both said that there is no way we could have done this without her. So, thank you to Britne and the amazing Lesner Inn staff for making our special day amazing!

My husband and I were married on 10/13/23 so this review is late! However, it's late because I needed the time to sit down and write the full review. This team was so amazing that I did not want to leave a generic review.

First- NOELLE. She was absolutely fantastic and a real pleasure to work with. I am a wedding vendor myself and the amount of guidance she provided was so appreciated. We worked with Noelle for a little under a year. Her expertise, and eye for detail, is phenomenal. She was always available to answer any questions we had.

Second, Noelle was not our planner (although Lesner does have its own planning services) but with how helpful she was, she really felt like it up to the day of our wedding, when our day of coordinator took over. She gave us amazing, money saving recommendations, guidance on our seating chart, guidance on our timeline and honestly, was more involved than the full planning service we booked with another planner (I do have to mention that our day of coordinator, who we did not meet until the rehearsal, was OUTSTANDING). Noelle really put me at ease during many moments throughout the wedding planning process.

Third, we originally booked just the waterside deck and, with the amount of family we felt obligated to invite, we decided to upgrade to the Lesner Sunset Deck & Hall (upstairs). We mentioned to Noelle we were thinking about just booking the entire venue for the Friday evening but still hadn't fully committed. A month went by and another event inquired about booking the waterside deck on the same night of our wedding (which they are able to do as it's a separate area from from Hall and Sunset deck). Noelle called, and emailed, to ask us if we wanted to move forward with booking the entire venue before they booked the separate space for another group. I was so thankful, and a little in awe, that she STILL checked in with us even though an entire month had gone by! They very well could have moved forward with the other event, as we hadn't put down a deposit for the entire venue, and had only mentioned it in passing!

Fourth, The Lesner is an amazing venue, and it's pretty much all inclusive (with rentals, upgrades, and more that you can add on at an additional cost). They work with many budgets and tailor it to exactly what you're looking for. We had inquired at a few other venue's prior to booking Lesner and fell in love once we saw the packages and the space. I would book Lesner Inn again for any event I have in the future!

Finally, the entire team at The Lesner is great and really make you feel welcome the minute you walk in the door. My wedding was a literal dream come true and it could not have been possible without the help of Noelle and my entire vendor team!

My husband and I had the most PERFECT rehearsal dinner and wedding at the Lesner Inn back in September 2023. The entire Lesner Inn team went above and beyond to ensure that every aspect of our wedding was executed seamlessly. From the initial design coordination meetings to the tastings, we were consistently impressed.

When we arrived on our wedding day, the bridal party was welcomed with champagne. This set the tone for our wedding. coordinators were attentive throughout the entire event, ensuring that my husband and I were taken care of and had the food and drinks we wanted.

The food was also delicious. The appetizers were a standout with the lumpia being an absolute must have. The Hawaiian chicken bites and fried shrimp were equally delectable. The crab stuffed flounder was also another crowd pleaser.

The venue itself is breathtaking. If you are in search of a picturesque waterfront location, the Lesner Inn is the perfect place. I can truly say that everyone is extremely kind and willing to invest their time to make sure that you have the most perfect wedding day.

I want to extend my appreciation to Alexis, our exceptional planner and design coordinator who played an integral part of our big day. Alexis was nothing short of spectacular and we couldn’t have asked for someone better in bringing our vision come to life. She understood exactly what we wanted and was a joy to collaborate with. Not only did she excel in managing all aspects related to Lesner Inn, but she also gracefully handled any unexpected challenges that arose with other vendors, assuring us that everything would be resolved. Her dedication to all things wedding is truly remarkable. Alexis even gave us the idea and helped us plan an after-party next door at the Back deck to incorporate karaoke – in commemoration of my husband and I’s first “date”. If you are seeking top-notch wedding design and coordination, look no further, because Alexis is your go to person!

But when its your own or your fathers wedding you dont know how much the staff at The Lesner Inn really helps to give you a great event and experience.. Our wedding at the Lesner Inn was absolutely AMAZING! From day one signing our contract all the way to the end of our wedding night, we were fully supported by the staff at Lesner Inn. Britne and Noelle listened to all of our crazy questions/requests and made sure to make us feel comfortable and at ease throughout all of the emails and meetings. The venue is stunning and has everything you need, we did not realize having food and alcohol onsite would be a game changer for us, we did not have to worry about a thing the day of our wedding. The views are stunning as well, we could not have asked for a more beautiful day. We recommend the Lesner Inn to all couples for their big day, also hiring the in-house wedding coordinator was a no brainer! Lesner Inn will always have a special place in our hearts!

I had an absolutely amazing experience getting married at the Lesner Inn in September! Alexis was very detail oriented and everything went so smoothly. I had multiple guests/bridal party members surprised with how well everything went! The food & beverage options, as well as decor were exactly what we were looking for. Emily and Alexis were so easy to work with, and everything went seamlessly on the wedding day. They are the absolute dolls to plan the wedding with, and the venue is gorgeous. Our guests were in awe of how lovely it was! Perfect place to hold your wedding, whether intimate or more extensive. The food was delicious, and the venue was very affordable. The Lesner is a beautiful venue on the water with gorgeous views. The staff is very accommodating, and Emily H is the best! We have 120 guests and used the entire facility. The food was delicious, and the staff was amazing! We were married December 3rd and the venue was beautifully decorated. Thank you Lesner for the most magical night of our lives!

I am a professional DJ and I work a few wedding events here every year and already have some lined up for next year. Before this year is over, I wanted to take the time and share with all review readers how grateful I am for the opportunity to be able to collaborate with such a great venue and the talented team that makes magic happen every time I am there. They communicate well with vendors, everything is always clean and looks amazing, and the layout options are awesome. You have the option of having the wedding reception upstairs or downstairs and having an open-air ceremony on the deck. They surely go above and beyond for their clients to have the best time ever. My husband and I got married in September 2022 at the Lesner Inn. We toured several venues, but immediately fell in love with the Lesner Inn and the beautiful views and all-inclusive style planning. We planned the whole wedding while living out of state, and they made that so seamless and easy for us. Emily and Alexis were extremely communicative throughout the process and helped keep me on track with planning. They were quick to respond when we had questions and were flexible with last minute changes. The venue offers day of coordination services that work with you three months prior to the wedding, and it allowed me to enjoy the few months leading up to the wedding. The night of the wedding went so perfectly- if anything went wrong, I never heard about it! Alexis and Emily made sure we had drinks in our hands, food on our plates, and were taken care of all night! Our guests loved the food and the venue! We used several of their preferred vendors and loved all of them! We could not have picked a better venue or staff and coordinators to bring our day to fruition. We HIGHLY recommend the Lesner Inn!

Absolutely loved this venue, everything about it really helped to make our special day perfect! Emily helped us from our initial meeting to the big day! She was great and really went out of her way to meet with us when it worked for us. Could not have planned our wedding without her! The appetizers were truly to die for! They recently renovated, adding some great touches to their already amazing space. They also have so many options to really customize what you want for your wedding!
