We could not have picked a better venue! Lovingston winery is the perfect setting to tie the knot. One of the most unique aspects of this venue is the onsite lodging. My wedding party loved staying on property. It took away so much stress having everyone wake up on the property the day of the wedding. The Tupelo house was was the perfect canvas to design a gorgeous reception. It even stayed nice and cool inside for my June wedding! You won't regret booking this venue!

This venue couldn’t have been more perfect. The venue really makes the wedding and I’m so glad we picked Lovingston Winery! It was such a treat to have the farmhouse, the cabin, and the Tupelo house for the whole weekend. I loved how the venue felt like it tucked up against the woods and had such pretty views of the rolling hill in central VA.

The farmhouse was so cozy and fit my entire family for the weekend. We loved drinking coffee underneath the trellis and looking at the mountain views. The big bridal suite was perfect - the photos I have in front of the giant bay windows look so ethereal. I also loved the shower! The wall jets were so luxurious!

Walking from the farmhouse to the ceremony spot (we picked by the Tupelo house) with my parents was such a special moment. I’m glad we never had to drive anywhere. My husband stayed in the cabin on Friday night and we used it as our honeymoon suite on Saturday night. Similarly, it was so easy to escape back to our cabin in the woods from the reception.

The Tupelo house was so spacious and beautiful - we loved the fireplace, the big wooden beams, the rich rugs, and giant barn doors. We opened the barn doors up for the mountain views even though it made the room a little warm for dancing. It was worth it to feel like we were bringing the outside in and so that our guests could wander and mingle outside (my brother-in-law brought cornhole boards, which folks actually really enjoyed!). Our guests loved the rose!

Tessa and Wes were both so responsive and helpful. My mom accidentally broke the garbage disposal on Friday and they showed up immediately and fixed it (don’t put entire vegetables down the garbage disposal). They’re so kind and easygoing, which is much needed energy for a wedding weekend.

I’m so grateful we picked Lovingston and had the venue Friday to Sunday morning - the weekend already goes by too quickly. My only regret is that we didn’t book the farmhouse AirBnB for Thursday night!

We truly can't say enough great things about Lovingston Winery. We initially picked it as our wedding venue because of the beautiful property, the scenic views, and how kind and passionate the owners are about how special this place is. Tessa was very communicative throughout the planning process; always willing to answer our questions. During our wedding weekend we were so well taken care of. They made sure we had everything we needed and more. It's the perfect place for those looking for a relaxed, peaceful, slow wedding weekend!

Tessa, Wes, and their family who own the venue are just wonderful humans who go above and beyond for their couples. As a wedding planner, we strive to give our clients the best client experience. Tessa and Wes bent over backwards to make our clients very full wedding weekend on property happen. They were flexible and helped us pivot when the weather wasn't going in our favor. The grounds are absolutely beautiful and just lovely for the couple to enjoy. We highly recommend Lovingston Winery and can't wait to work with them again! If you are looking for a beautiful barn property with adorable horses and mini horses, wonderful venue staff, and know that you are supporting amazing people, this is the place for you!

The only thing that outshines Lovingston Winery are the people that run it! Tessa and Wes are amazing people that made us feel welcome at their venue right from the get-go. We couldn't have asked for a more wonderful place to have our wedding!

From the very beginning, Tessa & Wes were responsive and available to help. My husband and I decided to push our wedding back 6 months and they were so flexible and patient with us in securing a new date! They offered us such a personal touch, and made the property feel like it was our own! We especially loved that our dogs became friends with theirs too and that we could enjoy the space for the entire weekend. We got married at Lovingston on June 22, 2024, and we could not recommend it more! To start, it’s absolutely GORGEOUS. From the beautiful old oak tree on the front lawn to the vines with mountain views, the scenery is SO pretty. Not to mention Tessa and Wes’s beautiful design of the new barn - the Tupelo House - and the cozy vibes they created in the Farmhouse and Cabin. Tessa and Wes were communicative from the very beginning, helping us set up a tour, answering all of our questions throughout the entire process, helping us pick the (delicious) wines for our reception, and being super responsive during our wedding weekend. Having the Farmhouse and Cabin on property was such an amazing amenity. Most of our wedding party stayed onsite, and it made for such a fun and relaxed vibe that I would highly recommend - no need to look at extra properties for getting ready or booking transportation for the wedding party! Waking up on site and sitting on the tree swing and walking around the property with my dog, fiancé, and friends, was one of my most special memories from the weekend. The included furniture was awesome and fit our vibe, and the additional rentals they offered were stunning and matched the beautiful taste they demonstrate throughout the property. Being at a winery, you have to purchase their wine for the reception (just like all of the wineries in the Charlottesville area), and theirs are all amazing. We had our wedding at Lovingston Winery on June 1, 2024, and it was amazing. Wes and Tessa were an absolute joy to work with and are such kind and generous people. You can tell they’ve put a lot of love and thought into the property, and the wine is also incredible! Both Wes and Tessa were great with communication, and they also got married here – so in addition to hosting many other couples, they know this place well! All our family traveled from out of town, so it was nice to have the option for some of us to stay on the property (in the cabin and farmhouse AirBnBs) throughout the entire wedding weekend and not feel so rushed on the wedding day. Some of our best memories were hanging out on the porch drinking coffee together or lounging in the Adirondack chairs sipping wine. Other family and friends stayed at hotels in Charlottesville or other AirBnBs/B&Bs in Lovingston. I also didn’t have a wedding planner, and Tessa was so generous with her time and wedding advice in helping me plan the day. Wes and Tessa set up our chairs for the ceremony and even had some of their crew help carry them back down during cocktail hour so we could use them again for dinner. The barn, called the Tupelo House, where we held our cocktail hour and reception, was beautiful. The weather was perfect with a light breeze, and the giant barn doors allowed plenty of airflow without the need to rent extra fans. I also loved that they offered farm tables, chairs, and a bar as part of their wedding package (among many other perks). The whole wedding weekend was absolutely perfect, and I cannot recommend this space more!

Lovingston Winery is an absolutely beautiful and perfect venue for anyone having a wedding in the Virginia area. Tessa and Wes are the nicest people and are willing to do anything to make your day go absolutely smooth. Tessa was always very responsive and understanding to any questions/concerns. Tessa and her kindness was one of the biggest reasons we chose this venue. Of course, the views and the vineyards are beautiful and make for a perfect backdrop for a wedding. The venue has two places on property for the entire bridal party to stay on site for two nights! In all the venues we looked at this was the only one that offered this and it was so nice after rehearsal to hang around with the bridal party all in one space. This was one of our favorite features of Lovingston Winery. If you aren't certain on the vibe of the ceremony you want... there are multiple locations on the property that work for a ceremony site. As for the reception space... the new Tupelo House is absolutely stunning and perfect for hosting your reception. My wife and I cannot speak highly enough about this venue and Tessa is truly a remarkable person who truly cares about you and wants your wedding to go smoothly and how you envisioned it. If you are looking for a beautiful, unique, and perfect place to get married, we could not recommend Lovingston Winery enough. The wine is good, the people are good, and the views are amazing.

Our daughter wanted to be married surrounded by the beauty found in the hills of Virginia. There is no finer display of that beauty than Lovingston Winery. The minute we arrived; we knew we had found a special place. It was not hard to imagine our daughter’s wedding under the gorgeous oak tree standing tall in front of the 1900’s farmhouse. Being able to stay at the farmhouse during the wedding weekend, added so much convenience and precious family time together. The luxurious bridal suite was a highlight for sure, providing peaceful rest for the bride and excellent lighting for her to get ready. We fell in love with the entire property so much that we held the rehearsal dinner, wedding, and reception all at Lovingston Winery. Tessa and Wes are personable and eager to assist guests in any way. They promptly provided anything we may have forgotten, seamlessly filling in gaps we had overlooked. We look forward to visiting Lovingston for events in the future. Highly, highly recommend this venue!
