Facilities and Capacity
At Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard, several hundred of your nearest and dearest can join you to celebrate your nuptials. Whether you wish to host a summer or winter wedding, this charming property can set the scene for events throughout the year. You can exchange your vows on one of the Ceremony Lawns, picturesque settings where romance and eye-catching views are par for the course. The Main Lawn is perfect for intimate ceremonies, while the Vineyard Lawn can comfortably accommodate up to 140 people. An enchanting setting that conjures images of Tuscany or Southern France, The Veranda can also provide the backdrop for ceremonies. After pledging your love, you can head to the Tasting Room for your cocktail hour. This event space boasts a bar that has been crafted from a Cypress tree, a bucolic touch that complements the venue’s rustic aesthetic. You can wine and dine in The Granary, a rural-inspired hall suitable for receptions. It is adorned with string lighting and equipped with state-of-the-art amenities like temperature control, power outlets for bands, and sound-control drapery.

Perfect Venu
My wedding at Pippin Hill Farm and Vineyard was nothing short of magical. From the moment we set foot on the property, we knew it was the perfect place to celebrate our love. The breathtaking views of the Blue Ridge Mountains and the sprawling vineyards created a stunning backdrop that took our guests' breath away – it felt like we had stepped into a dream.
The team at Pippin Hill was exceptional. They went above and beyond to ensure every detail was flawless, from the exquisite table settings to the seamless flow of the event. The food was another highlight; our guests are still raving about the fresh, seasonal menu and the exceptional wine pairings. Each bite was thoughtfully crafted and reflected the local flavors, enhancing the experience even further.
What truly made our day unforgettable was the ambiance. Pippin Hill has a way of blending rustic charm with elegant sophistication, creating a romantic, warm, and welcoming atmosphere. The indoor/outdoor spaces were ideal, giving us the freedom to enjoy the open air while also having a cozy, stylish interior for dinner and dancing.

Our Dream Wedding Venue
We always loved going to Pippin Hill throughout college, and we were beyond excited to tour this venue. When we toured, we knew it was our dream wedding location! We could not wait until our wedding day to be with all of our loved ones at such a gorgeous place. The mountain view is like no other and is the perfect backdrop for a wedding ceremony. Our tasting before the wedding day was wonderful. We got to try so many delicious options. You can’t go wrong with any meal or appetizers you choose. Additionally, it was nice that Pippin includes the food, drinks, and bars when you book the venue because they are of great quality, and it takes away some of the decisions you have to make when planning. All of the employees at Pippin Hill are wonderful and so lovely to work with. We absolutely loved having our wedding day here! It was a dream! We will forever look back on our perfect day here.

Unequivocally perfect
Pippin Hill was our dream wedding venue, and originally was going to remain a dream but due to Virginia’s capacity limitations we were forced to downsize our wedding with only two months notice. It turned out to be the greatest thing that could have happened to our wedding, due in large part to Pippin Hill! Caitlin, Abby, and the entire PHF staff were incredible in ways we cannot fully articulate. They worked with us to quickly figure out how to make our dream wedding happen, helping to answer every question possible with solutions at every step. Pippin Hill is more than a venue, it is a stress reducer because they have so much already figured out and on-site it eliminated so many of the planning headaches! And of course the beauty of those mountains, the veranda and grainery, and the food and wine is unimaginably good! Pippin also has the ability to deal with Virginia’s summer weather, pivoting to a veranda ceremony at the last minute that, truthfully, felt like we had meant it that way all along. Finally, Pippin’s staff treated us like we were their most important client from the first time we approached them, and have continued to make us feel like family even in the month since the wedding! There is no way to relay how amazing Pippin Hill was and how WORTH IT they are.

Our dream come true!
Everything about our planning process and wedding day at Pippin Hill was simply magical. Pippin Hill truly knows how to make a wedding day smooth, seamless, and beautiful. Part of why we chose to get married at Pippin Hill was the breathtaking scenery, but also because of their many plan B options. We knew there was a chance it could rain during our outdoor wedding ceremony, and their rain option, the Veranda, is gorgeous as well. Somehow we ended up dodging Hurricane Dorian’s precipitation for our September 6th wedding and we were able to get married on the lawn with 122 of our closest family members and friends as witnesses. Davis and her team were incredible, the food was exceptional, and overall we just had the best day ever! I loved getting ready in the bridal loft with my girls. On the day-of, I honestly felt 0 stress because I knew the team at Pippin Hill would take care of everything perfectly. I enjoyed every moment of the day. These people are professionals and will put every worry that you may have to rest. I can not recommend Pippin Hill enough!

I got married at Pippin Hill Farm on September 23rd, 2017. I recently returned to Pippin for a wine tasting, and realized that I hadn't given this wonderful team a proper review! Their staff, and particularly Bri Sumey, worked with my wedding planner to make sure everything went off without a hitch. I was truly in awe, and I was by no means an easy bride. To give you some perspective on how amazing Bri was to work with, you have to know a little bit about me and the events leading up to my wedding.
To start, I have 50 different food allergies. I wish I was kidding! Pippin was one of the only venues who didn't even bat an eye when I mentioned this, and Bri made sure I was safe the entire evening. She worked side by side with my planner and I during every tasting, providing specific ingredient lists for each item, and even had food specially prepared for me during the morning the day of. It was a relief not to worry about not only my allergies, but also the allergies of several guests.
Bri and her team also took care of my mother, who broke her jaw the month before our wedding. Bri made sure my mom always had a place to rest, and had the kitchen prepare a special meal for her, as my mom couldn't eat solid food. On the whole, my mother's health isn't great, and Bri made sure to keep a close eye on her the entire evening. She took care of us like we were family, and it meant the world to me.
My #1 priority for our wedding was that my guests were happy and healthy, and Pippin made sure that happened. Thanks to Bri, our wedding day was everything I'd hoped for and more!

The pictures of Pippin Hill alone speak a 1000 words. The venue is just perfection. We knew the second that we arrived at our preview appointment that the venue was perfect for our American ceremony on August 1, 2014. Between the views, the gorgeous space, the fantastic wines, the delectable farm-to-table food, all the way to the amazing staff, it’s hard to decide which part was the best. We just can’t say enough amazing things about this venue. Our only words of advice would be to book and book fast because the dates fill up so fast!
Many, many thanks to the Pippin Hill team, including Megan, for their fantastic service and support. We truly appreciate the lengths you went to in making our day perfect. We highly (highly) recommend using this venue!

My dream venue!!! I can call myself amongst the lucky ones who got to be married at Pippin. They are a class act, know every detail that goes into the planning, execution and aftercare of weddings. This place was made specifically for weddings, so there are no amenities missed or needed, this place has it all!! It is worth every dollar, the food/wine is superb and I had nearly everyone at our wedding tell us that was the best wedding food they ever had! You don't need much to make this place a gorgeous location to get married, very little decor is needed, mine was really a lot of florals, candles and a few extras!
