Kristen Kreft and Mayalou Banatwala are the owners and operators of Bars on Wheels. On March 29th, through their creative company Rocktails: An Amped Up Spin on Mixology, they purchased the company from it's original owner who started Bars on Wheels in 1989.

Kristen and Mayalou have a combined 41 years of experience in the service industry working in establishments ranging from fine dining restaurants, high volume mixology bars, kitschy corner bars and music venues in both the Cincinnati area dn New York City. Under their Rocktails brand, the pair have written and published two music history cocktail books and are working on their third currently. Their resume includes not only event bartending, but also creative cocktail design for corporations, artists, and special clients. They recently completed a two year contract at Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati designing cocktail menus for every bar under the casino's roof, as well as acting as bar consultants training Hard Rock's bartenders with their Rocktails branded training program.

Since combining their Rocktails Brand with Bars on Wheels in 2023 alone, Kristen and Mayalou have provided creative bar services to Viral Nation, Vitamin Water, Cincinnati Compass, Park West Gallery, The Mayor's Ball in Kettering, Themed Derby Parties, 80's/90's Themed Events, Grand Opening of the Motz Group, Black Achievers Inc, 1920's Themed Birthday Parties, and Corporate Services for Mercy Health, Christ Hospital, Ethicon, and PayCor to name only a few.

Aside from events, and being authors and musicians as well, Rocktails are proud members of Cincinnati's own Findlay Kitchen where they are marketing and producing their signature cocktail infusion kits which feature specialty sugars, and dehydrated fruits and herbs.
