After graduating with a degree in journalism from Carleton University, Kate Horodyski spent five years traveling and studying wellness and holistic healing methods. She then merged her passions into a career as a freelance travel and wellness writer. Through KH Socials, Kate now works with lifestyle and wellness brands to help them develop strategic Pinterest marketing.

Experience

Kate has been freelance writing since 2013, and she has written for brands like The Huffington Post, HostelWorld, WeddingWire, Women’s Daily, and Culture Trip. While writing on the side, Kate has worked as an Account Manager for PIKO Marketing and then Content Marketing Strategist for Catalyst Sales and Marketing. In 2017, Kate transitioned into social media marketing. She officially launched KH Socials, her Pinterest marketing company, in 2019.

Education

Kate received a bachelor’s degree in Journalism from Carleton University in Ottawa, Ontario, Canada.
