A marriage license in Minnesota will cost you just $40 with a 12-hour Premarital Education course completed, or $115 without. Both parties applying for the license must be present and the fee must be paid on the spot. Bring valid ID and social security numbers. Minnesota has a waiting period of five working days after applying for the license, but the marriage license is valid for six months from the date of issue.
