Aimee, the owner is a graduate from the International Institute of Cosmetology in 2008. She opened Modern Designs Salon in 2010. She specializes in color, specifically blondes. She is also an expert in women and men's cuts and styling and working with curly/textured hair. Aimee has worked with many brides in her career as well as working with bridal and special occasion styling.

Traci specializes in men’s cuts, curly cuts, color, and highlights. She has been styling hair for over 10 years and is also a graduate of the International Institute of Cosmetology. She has worked with many brides in her career and loves to make them all feel and look beautiful for their special day.

Betsy is a graduate from Paul Mitchell the School in North Haven. She has been behind the chair for over 10 years and joined the Modern Designs Salon team in 2016. She specializes in bridal hairstyling, special occasion styling, coloring services and women's cuts. She highly enjoys making her clients feel and look their best when they leave her chair, especially on their wedding days.

Amber has been a hair stylist for close to 15 years. She specializes in curly/ textured hair, enjoying the creativity natural texture offers. In addition she specializes in integrating the healing aspects of yoga, meditation and reiki for her brides and guests alike as desired. Amber is a graduate of International Institute of Cosmetology.

Maddie has been with the salon for over 3 years after also graduating from International Institute of Cosmetology. She specializes in different types of hair extensions. She also is very skilled with color and women and men's cuts. Maddie is also curly hair certified to cut, color, and style our guests with textured hair. She has great experience with brides during her career at Modern Designs Salon

Josephine has been with Modern Designs Salon for close 5 years. She focuses her skills on women's cuts and color and men's cutting. She is a certified make up artist. and loves helping her Modern Designs clients feel glam when they say "I do."

Alexa is our newest up and coming stylist who recently graduated from the International Institute of Cosmetology. She is great with all her clients in fulfilling their needs. She specializes in spray tans and can get any bride ready for their special day.
