We loved working with Rachel at Palmieri’s Cakes for our wedding! We decided somewhat last minute that we wanted a cake, and she was so flexible and accommodating throughout the process. She has the best flavor selections and was so easy to work with... truly a delight from start to finish. And the cake itself? Absolutely delicious! We got compliments left and right from guests about how amazing it was. It looked beautiful and tasted even better. I hope I have more events in the future to work with Rachel again. 10/10, highly recommend!

Our wedding cake from Sugar Crystles was nothing short of a culinary masterpiece! From the moment we laid eyes on it, we knew we were in for a treat. My husband and I were not only lucky to have our wedding cake included in our Society Room package, but also to have one of the most delicious wedding cakes we’ve ever had! Creative Cakes by Donna truly takes the cake when it comes to wedding cakes (pun absolutely intended!). Any flavor you choose is guaranteed to taste like a real cake- like the one your mom bakes for your birthday. You can feel the love, nostalgia, and sugary goodness in every bite. We had guests going back for seconds and even thirds, all declaring it was one of the best cakes they’d ever had! Even more importantly, the team was amazing to work with: prompt, detail-oriented, and incredibly creative. They made this part of the process completely seamless, and we only wish we lived closer to Hartford so we could order their cakes more regularly. We needed a gluten free wedding cake and I read about Shayna B's & The Pickle in a newspaper article. Based out of Ashford, we picked her because they were close and new and we wanted to give her a shot. We weren't disappointed. We wanted a natural looking cake and it was decorated with edible flowers and mint leaves. Exactly as we asked. The price was more than reasonable since we payed under 100 and she delivered! We made our own regular cupcakes to go with the cake but it was wonderful knowing my husband and I could enjoy the cake traditions on our wedding day without getting sick!

Extreme Cakes by Heather are a work of art! Everyone at our wedding proclaimed the cakes to be the very best they have ever had and I would agree. Heather is a small business owner. She makes the cakes herself, decorates them, and delivers them. She is meticulous and can make a cake from a picture. Because she makes these cakes herself, I highly recommend that you contact her early on and make a reservation as she only has two hands. You will be impressed with her skills and talent. Check out her facebook page to see all of the beautiful creations she has made. She prepared a very elegant wedding cake for us (we had a hawaiian luau themed wedding) from a picture. It was coconut cake with pineapple cream cheese filling and a very classy, artistic fondant finish with a unique, hand-sculpted topper. Our caterers were wowed when she arrived and assembled the cake. They watched her put the finishing touches on the topper. Heather also created the Groom's cake, a double chocolate cake with chocolate butter cream frosting in the shape of a bucket truck to look exactly like my husband's company bucket truck, complete with logo, boom, the works! My husband was shocked and delighted to see his handsome surprise, which was scaled to perfection. Our single guests enjoyed this cake and we took home the leftovers to eat the next day for breakfast with champagne (naughty but fun). I give Extreme Cakes by Heather my highest recommendation for any cake needs. She has a multitude of offerings including cake pops. Her prices cannot be beat either.

Cozy Corner provided a cake and cupcakes for our September wedding! Everything was amazing- we had ordered about 20 more cupcakes than number of guests because past weddings we had gone to with cupcake bars usually had some left over but ours were gone within minutes! And at a fraction of the cost of other bakers that we looked at! We chose to go with a small 2 tier cake with 156 cupcakes, including a dozen gluten free cupcakes for our gluten sensitive guests. We highly recommend this baker and enjoyed working with Wendy.

One of the best parts of my wedding was the cupcakes and cakes we had!! The Sissycakes girls are wonderful to work with. They have flavors for everyone! I personally love the apple cinnamon cupcakes and my husband loves the red velvet cupcakes. We ordered a few dozen cupcakes and a 2 tier cake for our wedding. We were able to sample the cupcakes and Amy helped me decide how to decorate them. She was so much fun! She would send me ideas, which was perfect. She also delivered the cupcakes/cake and then decorated the cupcake and cake stand! Since my wedding I have also used them for a bridal shower. They always do an amazing job and their products taste fresh for days after. I would absolutely recommend them and I look forward to having my reasons to indulge in their cupcakes in the future!!!

the wedding cake was wonderful, very moist, not alot of icing and just enough with some extra for the guests. she has a ton of choices to choose from and the taste testing is wonderful!! very flexable iwth meeting times and punctual for day of wedding..highly recommend
