Hope is an incredible baker and was amazing to work with! The tasting & design process was easy and enjoyable, we had lots of flexibility when it came to the flavors & design, and she created a wedding cake that was better than we had imagined! We additionally purchased a number of other small desserts from J Cakes which were delicious and a huge hit at the reception.

We had a 3-tier wedding cake included in our wedding package at the Woodwinds, provided by JCakes. We picked from the included flavors and styles and upgraded to add fresh flowers as decoration. The cake looked beautiful and was delivered on time for our wedding. The cake itself was delicious (yellow cake with lemon curd filling and white buttercream frosting). We had kept our expectations low, since the cake was part of a bundled package, but honestly it looked and tasted like we spent hundreds on it.

I've used J Cakes for a few things over the last few years. We don't live close, but I stop in a few times throughout the year for their cupcakes! Our wedding cake was phenomenal, they executed our idea perfectly. I forgot to order the groom's cake and I called in 4 days before the wedding and they were accommodating! They make my wife's favorite cake flavor, "Blue Velvet!"... another reason I will continue to order from them.

Our wedding cake was a star at our wedding! It tasted every bit as good as it looked. We had a tasting back in the summer, sampling many different filings. We loved too many of them to choose only one, but ultimately were able to choose two, and make each tier a different flavor (cannoli cream and mixed berry). If we had been in the position to have a three-tier cake, I would have made the third one mocha (it, too, was so good!). We worked with the owner to design the cake itself, and she helped us to create this very specific, personalized/custom topper, which we adore and have now placed on a prominent shelf in our kitchen to look at every day. The morning after our wedding, the remaining cake was in a box in the fridge at our venue (where we stayed), and we were able to take it home with us, where we polished it all off before leaving on our honeymoon! What a treat that was, and a great way to transition from wedding day to honeymoon. It's so cool that the cake continues to play such a part in our daily lives (we have actually both put this picture of the cake as the background on our phones!). Visiting friends who with at our wedding the week after our honeymoon, they did also comment on the beauty and the quality and taste of the wedding cake. We cannot recommend JCakes enough.

J Cakes made us the most BEAUTIFUL 3 tired cake for our wedding day! We had a super fun cake tasting and got to choose THREE awesome flavors. One for each tire.
