MBH was our first choice of venue for our summer wedding because of the beautiful setting with incredible oceanside views. We cannot speak highly enough of Lisa, who took us on the venue tour the same day we called; Amanda, who made the entire planning process as smooth and stress-free as possible; and Heather, who worked her tail off the day of the wedding to make sure everything was executed flawlessly so that my husband and I could just enjoy ourselves! In terms of special requests, there is not much the team at MBH can't or isn't willing to accommodate, but this can come at a steep price, so just be prepared for that. We had perfect weather on our wedding day, and everyone commented on how good the food and drinks were and how pretty the venue is. It was all we could ever dream of and more, and we wish we could do it all over again!

Our wedding at Madison Beach Hotel on October 18, 2024, was nothing short of magical. Initially, we planned to marry in Walt Disney World, but after some nudging from family, we visited MBH and fell in love within minutes. From the breathtaking beachfront setting to the impeccable customer service, we knew this was where our journey as a married couple had to begin.

We signed our contract exactly a year prior, on October 18, 2023, and every step of the process from that moment on was seamless, thanks to the extraordinary team at MBH. Amanda, the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond to make planning stress-free. She answered every question (even obscure ones like the density of flower petals!) promptly and thoughtfully, always accompanied by helpful visuals. Her patience and expertise were unparalleled, and she made every detail feel special and cared for.

The food and wine tasting in December of 2023 set the tone for what was to come. Every dish was exquisite, making it nearly impossible to narrow down our selections. The hotel partners with incredible vendors, including J Cakes in Branford, who created our cannoli wedding cake, a cake so delicious that we broke tradition and devoured the top tier within two days.

On the day of the wedding, the MBH team outdid themselves. Heather, our day-of coordinator, ensured every detail was executed flawlessly. From arranging our floral centerpieces to working with our DJ, photographers, and videographers, Heather handled everything with ease and grace. The staff guided us through the ceremony and reception with warmth and precision, allowing us to relax and soak in every moment of our special day.

Of course, the venue itself is stunning. The ballroom, with its views of the water, was the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The weather that day was ideal, so much so that if we had one "complaint," it was that it was almost too sunny!

As two gay men, we’ve occasionally faced uncertainty about how our relationship might be received. At Madison Beach Hotel, we never once felt anything but celebrated. The staff made us feel welcome, valued, and loved, which speaks volumes about the inclusive and professional culture at MBH.

Yes, this venue may not be the least expensive option, but it is worth every single penny. From the moment we met Amanda to the final day of picking up our beautifully packed decor, MBH exceeded all expectations. If you’re considering Madison Beach Hotel for your wedding, do yourself the favor of stopping by for a meeting with Amanda or even just enjoying a drink at The Wharf. It may very well change your life, just as it did ours.

The staff at the Madison Beach Hotel were all very kind, professional, helpful, welcoming and more! I can not describe how beautiful our wedding there was. The entire staff, the atmosphere, the venue, the beautiful pink/orange sunsets and breath taking sunrises felt like a movie. I would recommend Madison Beach to EVERYONE for their weddings and stays!! We had the most incredible wedding at the Madison Beach Hotel! The staff went above & beyond to give us a perfect wedding day and all of the days leading up to it. Our guests went on & on about how beautiful the venue was. 10/10 experience!

A beautiful venue on the Connecticut shoreline with great views, great food, and amazing service. We were worried about fitting 150 guests and an 8 piece band in the ballroom, but there was plenty of room for everyone. The bar and wraparound deck were great bonus spaces that allowed people to spread out.

It was a very hot summer day, but that didn't keep our friends and family from enjoying the sea breeze at the Wharf between our (offsite) ceremony and the reception. The MBH staff took excellent care of us all afternoon long. When we arrived at the venue, we were greeted with cold water bottles so that our families could stay cool during photos. It was a thoughtful touch that set us up for success throughout the rest of the evening.

Everyone we worked with at the Beach Hotel was beyond helpful. Madeline and Amanda promptly answered countless emails and Heather and Lisa executed a truly perfect day. They all managed to make wedding planning as stress-free as possible. We had a great time and we know our guests did too!

The Madison Beach Hotel was our dream wedding venue! Amanda and Madeline made the process seamless. My family still talks about this wedding to date and said it was the best wedding they have ever been to. There is nothing more romantic than getting hitched on the beach!!

The 4th of July. I recently went to dinner at The Wharf months after our wedding and the staff remembered me. The Madison Beach Hotel will always hold the most special place in our hearts. I wish I could re-live our wedding every single day thanks to the tireless work from the team at the MBH.

We are so happy that we chose the Madison Beach Hotel for our wedding—the staff and the venue surpassed our expectations. We couldn’t have found a more beautiful beach ceremony location in Connecticut. The Madison Beach Hotel staff from our first conversation with sales to planning with Amanda to everyone on the day of from valet to wait staff to manager made us feel like this was their most important event and made us feel like family. Our guests raved about the setting and the food, especially cocktail hour and the lobster rolls! The bartender created a very special signature cocktail which was a hit. All the recommended vendors were great, too. I wouldn’t change a thing about the day or our decision to use the Madison Beach Hotel.

Choosing the Madison Beach Hotel for our wedding was the best decision we made. The service was immaculate from our first tour. We had multiple people available to answer any question we had the year leading up to the wedding. The day of coordinator was fantastic for our rehearsal and smoothing out every detail the day of. She also was amazing with the timeline and flow of the day. Every guest said it was one of the best weddings they had ever been to and how beautiful the venue was. I will also note that the food was outstanding and every guest commented on it. It was hard to choose a menu because there were so many great options. Thank you MBH for creating our dream wedding!
