The reception space was beautiful! Loved the big windows that overlooked the golf course. Allison was our event coordinator. She was great with answering all my questions throughout the year leading up to the wedding day. When we dropped off all the wedding decor she was very organized and made sure to ask where we wanted everything displayed. On the day of the wedding she was so organized, maintained our timeline to the best of her ability, and all the decor was set up exactly how I wanted. The servers on the day of the wedding were very speedy in bringing out the meals (we had 200 people). Food was good too! My wedding day was absolutely perfect!! If something didn’t go as planned I had no idea, they handled it amongst themselves and did not let me know so I could enjoy my wedding day. Something to keep in mind is that you don’t get a tasting - it’s not even an option to pay for it. However, this wasn’t something that steered us away from this venue. Another plus, this venue was much cheaper than other venues we looked at!

Jennifer and the entire Race Brook Country Club team were awesome to work with from beginning to end. Jennifer answered all our questions, replied quickly and coordinated the wedding day festivities, she did a great job. She is also patient, creative, and friendly. All of our guests complimented the service, food, and beauty of the venue. Thank you Jennifer and Race Brook!

The Larimar was the absolute best decision we made in our wedding planning and we had the most amazing day! The whole team from the start of touring to the check in visits/meetings, the tasting event, rehearsal and the day of was SO thorough and well organized. Not a single thing in our eye went wrong and we couldn’t have asked for the most perfect day. The feedback was absolutely stellar from all of our guests— The venue inside and outside (design, style, ease of access, quality of work) was just exactly what we envisioned for our wedding. Now the food, absolutely SPECTACULAR. The guests raved about the amount of food that was served and how delicious everything tasted (along with the awesome cocktails). They are still continuing to tell us how great the food was. We truly can’t say enough positive things about this day and everything leading up to it. I cried tears of happiness with our wedding and how stress-free they helped make it. To all of you at the Larimar, you made our dreams and vision come to life and we are so blessed to have chosen your venue to make our day so special. Thank you!!

Our wedding at Lake of Isles was absolutely perfect! The venue itself is breathtaking, from the beautiful views to the elegant event spaces, everything was stunning. From the very beginning, Bethany, the Director of Catering, went above and beyond to help us every step of the way. She was so kind, organized, and attentive, making the entire planning process stress-free. On the day of our wedding, Gage, the Banquet Manager, was incredible as well, he made sure everything ran smoothly and that every detail was just right. The food and drinks were delicious, and the setup was flawless. Our guests couldn’t stop talking about how beautiful everything was and how amazing the service felt throughout the night. We truly couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We highly recommend Lake of Isles to anyone looking for a wedding venue that is not only gorgeous but has an outstanding team that genuinely cares about making your day perfect! We cannot say enough great things about the staff at Great River and the beautiful venue. We had our reception there in March, and it was absolutely perfect, from start to finish. Great River was the first and only wedding venue we toured — we just knew it was the place for us. We really enjoyed the menu preview with Chef Matt. He sat down with us and explained everything that was being served. The food was absolutely delicious and presented beautifully. Our guests are still talking about how amazing the food and drinks were, and how nice the staff was. Chelsea, Abigail, Alex, and Chase are the absolute best — so sweet and trustworthy. We can’t thank them enough for everything they did to make our day so special. We met with them a couple of weeks before the wedding to go over all the details, and they were incredibly thorough. When we picked up our decorations the day after the wedding, everything was packed up and ready to go. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. On the wedding day, they were so attentive and supportive — not only to us, but also to our entire wedding party and family. We are beyond happy with our choice to celebrate at Great River and will be forever grateful for such an amazing experience.

Process was really simple. Venue was beautiful. Everyone very helpful. Food delicious. Venue beautiful.

We had an amazing time at the club! The food, service and overall vibes were perfect for my bridal shower!!!!

Our wedding day turned out to be more incredible than we could have ever imagined, and we truly owe it to the amazing team at CT Wedding Group, especially Nicole and Cait. Everything went so smoothly, and they were incredibly kind and attentive throughout the day. Nicole ensured all our last-minute items made it to the tables, kept our drinks flowing, and even arranged for us to enjoy our hors d'oeuvres in a private space. They made us feel so special every step of the way. The decor was absolutely stunning! We brought a lot of things, and they used their creative eye and touches to design our space even better than we had envisioned. We’ve been hearing from our guests that it was the best wedding they’ve ever attended—and we might be biased, but we completely agree! The food was fantastic, the views were breathtaking, and the entire night felt just perfect. We’re still on cloud nine from our magical day! We can’t recommend CT Wedding Group enough, and Lyman Orchards is truly the perfect venue!

There cannot be a better place to get married in New England. The inn is breathtaking with beautiful views of the sound and perfectly manicured gardens. The inn itself is perfectly New England. Just do yourself a favor and visit. But there are beautiful venues in many places. The hosts and staff made our wedding perfect. They will move mountains to support you, are incredibly honest and a dream to coordinate with. They truly make you feel like you are being hosted my family. Particularly if you are looking to bring in outside catering, choosing the Owenego will be the best wedding decision you make.

My husband and I can not speak highly enough of Melaine and the team at Fox Hopyard. We knew that we wanted a venue in CT and loved the setting of Fox Hopyard from pictures and reviews. Melanie and everyone on staff were very welcoming when we came for a tour and made sure to answer our questions and provide thorough details on their packages. Unlike lots of venues that we went to, Fox Hopyard did not have tons of hidden fees and charges. They had straight forward packages that were inclusive but still allowed you to customize and add your personal touches. The venue itself is stunning, with gorgeous views of the golf course and surrounding woods, a beautifully updated clubhouse for dining, and a romantic pavilion for dancing. We knew from that first tour that it was the perfect spot for us. Throughout the planning process, Melanie was responsive and organized. She checked in with us regularly to make sure that things were falling into place, and was always willing to answer our questions or give her opinion. She stayed on top of emails and calls and all of the details that came from them. Our final meetings before the wedding were stress free because Melanie had everything organized and accounted for. She coordinated seamlessly with all of our vendors and made sure that both outside vendors and her team were on the same page. The venue was set perfectly for the day of. All of our details and personalizations were set just how we had envisioned making it feel even more special for us. The entire day went off seamlessly thanks to Melanie and the staff. They went above and beyond to make sure that we were comfortable and had everything that we might need. Everyone on staff was so nice and wonderful to talk to. Melanie kept everything running according to our timeline and checked in with us regularly as we transitioned through the events of the evening. All of the food and drinks were delicious and they catered to food allergies and preferences perfectly. Some of the hardest decisions we had to make were which passed appetizers to select from their menu, because everything was so darn good! From start to finish our wedding day was a dream, and we could not have done it without Melanie and the team at Fox Hopyard. We feel so lucky to have found such a beautiful site and have it run by the most kind, professional people.
