We used Mystic Marriott for our room block for our September 2021 wedding. Diana, Jennifer, and the entire team there was excellent throughout the planning process. We had started off with a smaller block size, but it quickly filled up. Diana and Jennifer were very responsive and were able to extend our block to add more rooms - twice, when we realized we would need even more rooms. They were also very helpful throughout the planning process and graciously answered my MANY questions. They also helped my parents plan a wonderful day-after brunch. The staff was very helpful throughout our wedding weekend - they put up signs to direct our guests where to go and handed out the welcome bags to everyone. The rooms were beautiful - the guys actually got ready in one of the hotel suites. It made for a great "getting ready" space and looked good in the pictures too! I would definitely recommend the Mystic Marriott. We and our guests enjoyed their stay, and the staff was wonderful to work with.

We recently got married at Water’s Edge Resort and Spa in Westbrook CT, the event took place in the month of October, 2025 and it was a great experience overall. At this venue, our wedding was a magical, beautiful, and special day that we would call it “A DREAM COME TRUE”. So, my husband and I would like to share our wedding experience with other couples that are in the wedding planning process and wishing them a happy journey as ours! For the money we invested in our wedding, We found everything just in venue: a beautiful and comfortable resort with friendly staff for you and your guests to explore, stunning ocean views and gorgeous lawns adorned by lush landscapes for your ceremony, welcoming and spacious ballrooms for you to choose for your reception / celebration, and exquisite restaurants with great and skilled chefs to provide delicious food and service on your special day! However, all of the above would have not been possible without the support, experience, dedication, and professionalism of the Sales and Wedding teams and staff !. A big THANK YOU and shout out to Florent Fougerouse and Kara Stanley from the Sales team, and to our enthusiastic, helpful, and talented wedding coordinator Melody Zielke for their amazing support and commitment to our wedding! We will recommend you this venue for your upcoming wedding celebration and other events. Have fun! Thank you.

We got married during Hurricane Elsa. Because we were rained out we moved the ceremony inside which is just as stunning. The sky cleared and we were still able to get the most beautiful pictures outside by the fountain and gardens. The staff and food were amazing. Gary Baker, Director of Sales, treated us like family and listened to our vision leading up to the big day. Malana Dougherty Jarzabek executed it the day of and was Heaven sent. Incredible all inclusive venue.

Cory Morse and the team was wonderful. We all work together as a team. The staff is wonderful great prices beautiful banquet hall. I had a fantastic experience with Foxwoods. Thank you again.

We got married at the Haley Mansion on September 12th, and it was truly everything I’ve ever dreamed of. From the very first time my husband and I toured the venue, I just knew it was the place we were meant to get married. The property is absolutely stunning — so peaceful, elegant, and beautifully maintained. The mansion itself is breathtaking, and the view over the water made it feel like something out of a fairytale. We had the absolute best experience working with Joe, Zac, and Sue. They made our day beyond perfect! I mainly worked with Joe throughout the planning process, and he was amazing. He was always so easy to reach, quick to respond, and answered every single one of my questions (and there were a lot!). Joe went over every detail with us to make sure everything was perfect — and it truly was. He made the whole process stress-free and enjoyable, and I always felt heard and cared for. He also made sure everything on the day of the wedding was perfect. From the decorations, to checking on me to see how I was doing, to fluffing my dress before walking down the aisle, he didn’t miss a thing and it didn’t go unnoticed. I truly can’t thank him enough for the care and attention he put into our special day.  Zac was incredible too! He planned our rehearsal dinner, which turned out beautifully, and on the wedding day, he was there from beginning to end making sure everything ran smoothly. Thanks to Zac and Joe, every detail was flawless — not a single thing out of place. We even had an ice cream bar (which was a huge hit!), and Zac was the one serving ice cream to guests with the biggest smile. He went above and beyond, and we are so grateful for him. Sue, our officiant, made our ceremony so special and personal. She took the time to get to know us and really understood what we wanted. She added such a meaningful touch to our ceremony and made it feel like “us.” We also had the sweetest server, Kendra, who took such great care of us all night. She made sure our drinks were always full and that we had everything we needed. And oh my gosh — the food!! I can’t even begin to describe how good it was. We got so many compliments from our guests. Everything from the cocktail hour to the entrées was incredible. I had the filet mignon and my husband had the baked stuffed sole — both were to die for! Honestly, it was the best wedding food I’ve ever had. We also decided to have an after-party at Rock21, and it was the best decision! The food was delicious, the DJ kept everyone dancing, and our guests had an absolute blast. It was the perfect ending to the best day of our lives. From the very first meeting to the last dance, everything was perfect. The entire team at Haley Mansion put so much love, care, and attention into our day, and it truly showed. I can’t thank them enough for making our wedding day everything we’ve ever dreamed of and more.

We had our wedding at the Gwyn Careg Inn in June of 2024. After our July 2022 engagement, I – being the data nerd that I am – created a spreadsheet of every venue in the NY/CT/NJ/PA area. We wanted something wild and natural, with a bit of an enchanted quality and the essence of an English cottage garden. We investigated hundreds of venues in search of one that would have the right feel for our wedding, and only one made the cut. The Gwyn Careg Inn was perfect and lent such a special aesthetic quality to our wedding. Moreso, we continue to be so grateful for Rose, who handled the intricacies of our wedding with professionalism and kindness and who truly prioritized my wife and I on our wedding day. Rose even held off planting in the center of her garden so that we could hold our ceremony in the round, surrounded by the beautiful grey stone walls that drew us to her venue. Rose’s touch is everywhere, from her pristine gardens to her beautifully decorated rooms, and it is clear being on her property that the love poured into it reflects the person she is. We are so grateful to her for everything she did to make our wedding day perfect, and can’t wait to be back at the Inn soon!

We want to share the fantastic experience we had in planning and having our daughter’s wedding recently at the Hartford Marriott Downtown. From our first meeting through all the planning, the details of the ceremony and reception, Lauren Pastoreck, the wedding planner at the Marriott, was extremely helpful, professional, knowledgeable and fun to work with. She was also helpful in coordinating with our vendors and with so many helpful tips. The Marriott itself is beautiful with lovely views of downtown Hartford and all our guests seemed to be very comfortable and happy there. The staff was quite helpful and kind, as well. We highly recommend!!

We had our hotel block at the Goodwin and hosted the wedding party and used it as our getting ready venue. They were nothing short of amazing. They were always super flexible with my requests and always what more could they do to help us. It really meant a lot! We were also able to coordinate a super yummy breakfast of breakfast sandwiches and fun donuts delivered to our bridal suite the morning of so we were all happily fed without anyone needing to do anything. I highly recommend them for anything hotel related ever! Thank you for everything!

Our wedding at Madison Beach Hotel on October 18, 2024, was nothing short of magical. Initially, we planned to marry in Walt Disney World, but after some nudging from family, we visited MBH and fell in love within minutes. From the breathtaking beachfront setting to the impeccable customer service, we knew this was where our journey as a married couple had to begin. We signed our contract exactly a year prior, on October 18, 2023, and every step of the process from that moment on was seamless, thanks to the extraordinary team at MBH. Amanda, the wedding coordinator, went above and beyond to make planning stress-free. She answered every question (even obscure ones like the density of flower petals!) promptly and thoughtfully, always accompanied by helpful visuals. Her patience and expertise were unparalleled, and she made every detail feel special and cared for. The food and wine tasting in December of 2023 set the tone for what was to come. Every dish was exquisite, making it nearly impossible to narrow down our selections. The hotel partners with incredible vendors, including J Cakes in Branford, who created our cannoli wedding cake, a cake so delicious that we broke tradition and devoured the top tier within two days. On the day of the wedding, the MBH team outdid themselves. Heather, our day-of coordinator, ensured every detail was executed flawlessly. From arranging our floral centerpieces to working with our DJ, photographers, and videographers, Heather handled everything with ease and grace. The staff guided us through the ceremony and reception with warmth and precision, allowing us to relax and soak in every moment of our special day. Of course, the venue itself is stunning. The ballroom, with its views of the water, was the perfect backdrop for our celebration. The weather that day was ideal, so much so that if we had one "complaint," it was that it was almost too sunny! As two gay men, we’ve occasionally faced uncertainty about how our relationship might be received. At Madison Beach Hotel, we never once felt anything but celebrated. The staff made us feel welcome, valued, and loved, which speaks volumes about the inclusive and professional culture at MBH. Yes, this venue may not be the least expensive option, but it is worth every single penny. From the moment we met Amanda to the final day of picking up our beautifully packed decor, MBH exceeded all expectations. If you’re considering Madison Beach Hotel for your wedding, do yourself the favor of stopping by for a meeting with Amanda or even just enjoying a drink at The Wharf. We cannot say enough about how perfect of a decision it was to host our wedding at Hilton Mystic. From the moment of our initial consult/tour, Keith (Sales Director) made us feel so comfortable with how they treat their clients and how dedicated they would be to any event. Michele (Catering Sales Manager) joined the team about a year before our wedding, and she was an absolute blessing to us. The food is incredible, the ballrooms are beautiful, the entire staff is attentive, and everyone really will go above and beyond for you. They truly operate on the mentality of "what is best for the client" and we cannot thank them enough for providing the perfect venue for our wedding!
