We held our rehearsal dinner, welcome party and wedding brunch at the Interlaken. It is a beautiful setting that can hold a large amount of guests. The team was great to work with, and they have various packages to choose from to fit your requirements. Our guests loved the location and all the activities on property. Having everyone in one place made it super convenient for our guests. We'd recommend working with the Interlaken team!

From start to finish, we had an incredible experience hosting our August 2024 wedding at the Interlaken. Susan, our wedding planner, was such a delight to work with and was so helpful when I sent her an endless number of emails with questions about the details of the day. I really appreciated how she thoughtfully incorporated all the little details we wanted to include to personalize it to us. However, what truly made this venue stand out was their grace and professionalism during the wedding weekend. Firstly, having the wedding parties and families stay at townhouses at the site made the entire weekend run so much more smoothly with no need for shuttling people. I also highly recommend adding their night-before bonfire to your wedding package, it's a very fun way to kick off the weekend! Through no fault of the Interlaken, there were a few incidents that could have caused chaos but the Interlaken was able to manage them expertly. The ceremony was meant to be outside on the lake but due to rain, we had to move it inside but, as this venue has a back- up ceremony space inside, the ceremony was still breathtakingly beautiful. And just as the ceremony was supposed to occur, one of the guests had a medical crisis and the ceremony needed to be delayed by 15 minutes. But as the Bride, I had no idea that there was even a crisis until after I walked down the aisle. It is so obvious that Interlaken is masterful at hosting weddings due to the number of weddings that are hosted there year after year. They have the process down to a science. Our guest needed to be removed from the site by ambulance but the situation was handled with such grace and efficiency, it did not deter from the day at all.
Even at the reception, as the wedding party and couple walk-in was delayed because of an issue with one of my bridesmaid's dresses, Susan came in clutch with a large safety pin to save the day. The reception itself was so beautifully decorated and everyone had a wonderful time. We also greatly enjoyed having Woodside as our bridal suite. It was such a magical and grandiose space and of course, it was wonderful to take a soak in the jacuzzi after our long wedding day! The entire wedding weekend itself was truly a dream come true and I cannot recommend this venue enough to other engaged couples.

We got married at the Interlaken Inn in October and it was truly the best wedding experience we could have asked for. From the initial tour, planning, tasting, and wedding weekend it was everything we could have imagined. We were looking for an 'all-inclusive' style venue, and the Interlaken Inn was just that. We loved that we could have all events right on site and not have to worry about transportation. The lake was so beautiful for our ceremony! The staff was incredible all weekend and took care of everything we needed. The food was delightful at every event. They were able to accommodate all dietary and special requests we made for the rehearsal dinner. The food for the cocktail hour, dinner, and breakfast Sunday morning was great! We started the weekend with the welcome bonfire and it was such a great kickoff to the wedding festivities. We were so happy to see the bistro lights and drink trailer set up down by the lake for our guests to enjoy! Sarah, our coordinator, was truly incredible!! Her communication, dedication, and care were visible throughout the entire planning process. She was so attentive to us, our families, and whatever came up all weekend. The wedding was amazing and we have only received the most rave reviews from our families and friends. We would highly recommend Interlaken Inn for weddings or other special events!!

We wanted to take a moment to express our deepest appreciation to Interlaken Inn and our wonderful coordinator, Susan. Susan jumped right in last minute and blew it put of the park! Everything flowed seamlessly, allowing us to fully be in the moment, from the weekend start to end without worry. Susan streamlined our vendor arrivals, setup all the details and made our dream wedding truly a reality, and we will be forever grateful. She even made sure our vision of creating the hydration station on our vintage truck's tail gate was executed at the ceremony by the lake. It was phenomenal and, no doubt, a testament to her meticulous attention to detail. Her calm, cool and collected demeanor was exactly what we needed throughout the day.
Interlaken Inn is the perfect spot for a dream wedding, from the amazing food, beautiful setting and friendly staff, it was everything and more. We couldn't have imagined navigating the whole thing without our coordinators guidance, direction and dedication. We started our weekend with a lovely rehearsal dinner, and bonfire with smores, followed by our stunning wedding day by the lake and in the tent and ended with an amazing after party where everyone wore wigs! Our families and friends are still talking about how much they loved the location, the food and the fun they had!

We loved our experience at the Interlaken Inn this past September. This was the only wedding venue we looked at and we booked it immediately on the spot. From the lake, to having your guests onsite, the beautiful tent -- they know how to do a wedding and it's very clear it's what they are good at.

Susan was our coordinator after our original coordinator unfortunately was no longer able to work with us for personal reasons. Susan picked our wedding right up while juggling many others. It's a lot to plan but very worth it. Highly recommend having the rehearsal dinner, bonfire and day after brunch experience! It was such a beautiful weekend and if there were any hiccups, they were extremely minor and not felt by us (bride & groom) or guests. We felt cared for--many small details such as bringing us a plate of our appetizers to the suite so we didn't have to worry about eating anything during the cocktail hour, bringing our wedding cake pieces to our so we could enjoy it later after the wedding, bringing us (b&g) drinks on the dance floor all night-- they make it so easy for you to relax and enjoy your weekend. Susan was AMAZING but the whole staff deserve lots of kudos. We can't wait to go back on our anniversaries and relive the best night of our lives. OK I'm getting teary writing this now, so gotta stop. If they have an open weekend -- book it, you will not regret it!

We had our daughters wedding at the Interlaken Inn in October and everything was absolutely perfect! The staff was so polite and accommodating, even our guests remarked how lovely they were! The food was delicious and plentiful and served just as we requested it. Each event we had throughout the weekend came to life by the staffs hands and was just as we had hoped. Our Coordinator, @Sarah Rudzavice, was so incredibly helpful and we truly got the impression she cared that everything went perfectly, and if it didn't, we didn't know a thing about it! During the entire planning phase, every single person at the Inn was so accommodating and genuinely concerned to make our daughter and her fiancee's day so special. I would 100% recommend having your event at the Interlaken Inn - you won't be disappointed and you'll be so happy with the results!

We had the best wedding day we could have imagined thanks to the amazing team at the Interlaken Inn. Our coordinator Susan was organized, professional, and so easy to work with. From our first planning meeting we felt so reassured that no detail was overlooked. Every member of the team was exceptional. From the maitre d Janette, who took such excellent care of us during the reception, to Brittany who drove the golf cart and worked the dinner service, to the bartenders and all the other staff- the service was top notch. We had multiple guests mention how impressed they were with the service throughout our wedding. Every event, starting with the welcome bonfire and ending with the farewell brunch, was seamless. Interlaken Inn is a venue that prioritizes the couple's experience and does their absolute best to make the wedding day unique to the couple. There was nothing we asked for that was a "no". Having all events on property added to the ease of the weekend and guests raved about the accommodations and the convenience. The lakeside ceremony site is stunning and there are so many other beautiful parts of the property for pictures. If we had to do it all again, we would choose Interlaken Inn again in a heartbeat.

We had our wedding at Interlaken on 6/30/24. Our coordinator, Susan, and the whole staff at Interlaken went above and beyond to make our day amazing. Due to rain, we used the “rain plan” area for our ceremony, but it was so beautiful that it didn’t even feel like a back up plan! I want to give a shout out to Brittany who not only transported us around the grounds in the golf cart, but also helped me carry my (very long) train around while taking photos so it wouldn’t get wet or stained before the ceremony, threw my veil so our photographer could get awesome photos, and helped me adjust my necklace multiple times throughout the day when the clasp was showing. The food and service during our cocktail hour and reception were incredible. We also had guests comment in surprise that the bartenders were able to make every single drink they asked for! Guests told us that it was the best wedding they’ve ever been to! My husband and I have said multiple times that we hope someone we know gets married at Interlaken in the future so we can enjoy another wedding there!

We instantly fell in love with the Interlaken Inn for our wedding, having visited on our first dating anniversary in 2019. After reaching out to their wedding team on our way home from our engagement, Jodie promptly assisted us in finalizing contract details and establishing a payment plan for the Grand Winter Wedding package scheduled for December 2023. Susan, one of the resort's wedding coordinators, made the planning process seamless in two 2-hour meetings and a few phone calls, displaying unparalleled attentiveness and responsiveness. In summary, our review emphasizes the excellent staff, delectable food options, and the venue's good fit for a fairytale wedding. The detailed review covers three key aspects: Food and Catering, Hotel Stay and Event Space, and Staff Service. Starting with Food, the chef at Interlaken, who also oversees Morgan’s restaurant, delighted our guests with perfectly cooked steak, savory cheese and prosciutto stuffed chicken, and silky-smooth butternut squash ravioli. The catering staff efficiently handled dietary restrictions, ensuring quick and satisfying service that left our guests highly pleased. Second, the Interlaken Inn is a charming resort nestled in between two lakes in the hills of Lakeville, CT. The hotel has undergone amazing renovations since we first visited in 2019 making it a stylish and cozy resort in 2023. They renovated their gym, and then even built a movie theatre that plays movies twice a day. Guests will have plenty to do while they wait for the couple’s ceremony. Even though our wedding was during the winter, when most of the outdoor activities like the pool were closed, our guests still enjoyed the small-town charm of the nearby village of Millerton, NY. Most of the guest rooms in the main building have comfortable walk-in showers and a nice outdoor porch to relax in the fresh air. The pet-friendly rooms are also very welcoming for the whole family and furry friends. This hotel is extremely dog-friendly so all members of the family can enjoy weddings. The reception venue is a wonderful hybrid indoor-outdoor space with a tent that allows for great flexibility in decorations and table arrangements. In the winter the heaters that are installed in the tent keep it perfectly warm, sometimes a little too warm if the party gets a little wild. Lastly, our honeymoon suite was the perfect getaway to relax after the wedding, the hot tub providing a soothing soak after a long day. Finally, staff service at Interlaken stands out, with our coordinator Susan acting as our fairy godmother, ensuring we got our fairytale happily ever after. Notably, Isaiah at the front desk displayed exceptional hospitality, treating guests like VIPs and even so far solving a small wedding day crisis with the groom’s room. The overall friendliness and hospitality of the entire staff left a lasting impression on our guests. In terms of wedding logistics, Interlaken Inn impressed us with transparent pricing, easily accessible on their website as of December 2023, which is something most wedding venues try to hide and obscure. Throughout our whole wedding, the staff's approach was focused on meeting our needs rather than the stereotypical vendor pushiness. Simply put, we could not be happier and if we could get married again, we would 100% pick the Interlaken Inn.

I had my wedding at Interlaken and it was absolutely magical. The service they provided was totally above and beyond; Victoria and Vanessa seriously made magic happen. I am so thankful to them and all of their hard work and attention to detail. It was the perfect venue for a late summer wedding and I'll never forget how special and lovely it was. Best weekend ever.
