Set in an area of such maritime beauty, this venue has proven a standout choice for hosting wedding celebrations for over 30 years.
Facilities and Capacity
The Resort can provide splendid choices for either indoor or outdoor wedding ceremonies with a minimum of 75 guests. Indoors, the Lighthouse Gallery, refurbished in 2019, can host up to 200 seated guests for a ceremony or reception. Outdoors, couples can be married on the terrace or at Compass Rose, which has panoramic views of sunsets over the Long Island Sound.
Services Offered
Wedding events that can be hosted at the Inn include engagement parties, bridal showers, rehearsal dinners, ceremonies, and receptions. All-inclusive packages cover your wedding needs, from get-ready rooms to audio-visual equipment. The experienced staff will readily assist you with event planning while coordinating with outside vendors. On-site parking is present as standard, while valeting and wheelchair-accessibility services are also available.
Cuisine
The guiding belief behind the cuisine at Saybrook Point Resort & Marina is to source food locally and grow herbs on-site. With a solid commitment to seasonal ingredients and local artisans, the distinction manifests in the menu, the taste, and the atmosphere. Accommodation
You and your guests can be accommodated in several locations near the Inn. These include 82 rooms in the main Inn, with ready access to the spa, fitness center, and restaurant. The two literary-themed guesthouses, Tall Tales and Three Stories, can comfortably suit up to 12 and 16 guests, respectively.
Other Services
In addition to weddings, Saybrook Point Resort & Marina is available to host other special events and milestone celebrations. These events include baby showers, mitzvahs, and holiday parties. Saybrook Point Resort & Marina is open throughout the year to provide a venue for these special times.

A Dream Wedding!
We booked the guest houses for our wedding parties to get ready, and it was one of the best choices we made. The private, cozy, and beautiful spaces made the morning feel joyful, calm, and personal. It felt like home — but with more space and more luxury. It felt like we were getting ready in a real life dollhouse! Being just steps away from the venue while still having our own space was the perfect way to start the day.
Our guests couldn’t stop raving about the food, the setting and how flawlessly everything ran. The service was amazing (no one had to wait long for a drink!) and every detail was handled with care. If you’re looking for a picturesque location, exceptional service, delicious food and a team who truly knows how to create a magical wedding experience, Saybrook Point is it. The transportation vendor booked by the client directly never showed up and the manager of the hotel got their shuttle and did the job on the spot. Talk about saving the day and flexibility! The guest got here safe and efficiently!
At the end of the night we had a few vendors stranded due to no u era and the staff took care of every last one to get them safely to their hotels.
I can not say enough about this staff.
I am so excited for the next time I can work with them!
