Mr. D's was wonderful to work with in creating our cupcake vision for our wedding! On top of our cupcakes, which were fantastic, they also helped us make our caramel apple wedding favors! Highly Recommend them!

Anne and Bill were WONDERFUL to work with- fun, friendly, down to earth and professional! There cupcakes and baked good are all homemade and you can tell. People were raving about the cake and cupcakes for days and weeks following the wedding. I would refer anyone to this bakery for any event- birthday parties, weddings, showers, anything! My husband and I did not have to worry about them at all...they knew what they were doing and did it beautifully!

We found Mr. D's through our venue it was one of our options with our package & we couldn't have been happier.
The tasting appointment won us over. They brought out a cookie sheet with a variety of their frostings, fillings & cakes, we were able to mix & match what we thought we would like & they gave a sheet with some suggestions. The owner (I forgot her name) allowed us to pick 5or6 different cupcake flavors.

My husband and I contracted Anne from Mr D's to make the cupcakes for our wedding after we ate "day old" Mr D's cupcakes at a friends house a few months before my wedding. The cupcakes were absolutely delicious even a day old. So delicious I had to have them at our wedding! We went to meet with Anne the next week to do a tasting. Anne let us taste any and every flavor. She was completely flexible if we wanted to change different cakes and combine with different frostings. We sat with her for over an hour and it felt like we were at a friends house. Anne is super friendly, gracious and goes above and beyond to make her customers happy. They even delivered the cupcakes to our venue in Rhode Island late on a Friday night for our early Saturday wedding! These cupcakes are by far the most amazing cupcakes we have ever had. We still have yet to find one better and we sampled many bakeries while wedding planning. I highly recommend Anne for her service and Mr D's for the best cupcakes in New England!

Mr. D’s catered the dessert (cupcake towers) for our wedding at Lighthouse Point Park in New Haven, CT in October 25th and we couldn’t be more pleased with their product, service, presentation, and all around awesomeness! From day one that we worked with Anne at Mr. D’s we so pleased with her and knew we were in for a treat – figuratively and quite literally with her delicious cupcakes. She gave us an impromptu tasting since we had originally just planned to drop by the store for pricing and she insisted that we try the cakes and fillings before we committed to working with her.

I remember saying to her the day we met that I not only loved the taste of her cupcakes, but I felt that she was a genuine person who would treat our wedding day as if it were her own, and I was right on the money! I can go on and on about how great the cupcakes tasted, I honestly haven’t tasted cupcakes or any cake for that matter, as good as hers. That aside, the presentation was perfect. We added an 8 inch round at the top of the cupcake tower so we had a cake to cut which was also beautiful and delicious. I sent Anne a Pinterest of decorations and styling we wanted and she was not only able to reproduce them but improve upon them with her skill and creativity.

There are so many different vendors to consider when planning a wedding, but we got lucky early on with Anne and Mr. D’s. We found her, loved her, and couldn’t be happier with the result. Our friends and family at the wedding raved about her cupcakes, which is evidenced by the fact that they devoured them in minutes! Thank you Anne for helping to make our wedding the incredibly special day that it was, we are forever grateful!

The owner of Mr. D's bakery, Anne, is absolutely outstanding. From the very beginning she was professional and full of ideas. Not only did she supply the cupcakes for my wedding, but she also did a candy bar. I had looked around at other bakeries and was shocked at how much they were charging per cupcake. Not only was Mr. D's reasonable, but they also offered to make any kind of cupcake that we may have wanted even if it was not on their 'menu'. Best cupcakes/ice cream/cookies/candy around in Wallingford! My fiancé and I used to live down the street and we would walk there every weekend. We are looking to have them do our wedding cupcakes. Very friendly staff!

We ordered a cupcake tower and small cake for bride/groom cake cutting purposes - both were fantastic!! The cupcake tower and cake were both gorgeous and exactly what we wanted. Ann was a pleasure to correspond with and she was extremely flexible, as we decided we needed everything delivered last minute and the helped us out. Thanks for everything!

The high rating for this company began with the tasting. We had the most amazing time tasting cupcakes, their topping, and the filings. The owners were so welcoming and sweet. They even made my twins feel special by making them a special ice cream sundae to share. On my wedding day the cupcake tower looked amazing. They set up a display for a queen. The dessert was number 1 for most of the guest and for me, the red velvet cupcake that I cut for my cake cutting was to die for. Everything was delicious and beautiful.
