With twelve locations in the greater Portland, Southern Maine area, family-owned garment care company Pratt Abbott Cleaners has specialized in wedding dress cleaning and preservation since 1944. Accredited by the Association for Wedding Gown Specialists, Pratt Abbott is passionate about providing professional, eco-friendly service customized to the needs of each bridal gown.
Services Offered
Whether you need your gown cleaned before, during, or after your wedding, Pratt Abbott is happy to serve you. Pratt Abbott completes all wedding gown preparation, cleaning, and preservation services in-house by certified garment care coordinators. Pratt Abbott can also aid in vintage wedding dress restoration, and steaming and pressing services can be provided for bridesmaid's gowns, suits, and tuxedos. All clothing is hand-cleaned and preserved in acid-free packaging. Flexible to your needs, bridal party services can be provided on-site or via shipping, and Pratt Abbott offers free delivery to nearby homes and hotels. A pick-up service is also available to immediately preserve your gown after your wedding.
