We had plans fall through - and weren’t really sure what to do with little to no time until our wedding. Did some research on here actually to find (not to my surprise knowing what I know now) amazing reviews for this company. They went out of their way to accommodate us. Everyone was so friendly and wanted to know what they could do to make our day special. We had vegan and GF guest and their options made it so easy to pick - and tasty too! We were so happy and our guests LOVED all the options. Thank you again - you guys nailed it. A++

Donna P is the wedding cake baker here and she is spectacular! We cannot wait for her to bake our cake for the wedding! We did our samples this weekend, they were all so good it'll be a hard time deciding on one! She was so so friendly and so helpful and even willing to give us good pointers on other areas of planning! There are so many diverse options as well!

Martha is an artist! She also is so incredibly invested in her clients and helping them get exactly what they want for their big day. Being from out of town, she was incredibly flexible in working with us to allow us to get a tasting experience and to design the cake of our dreams. On the day of we got endless comments about how incredibly beautiful and detailed our cake was. And the best part was that she worked with our florist to coordinate so that the designs would match perfectly with our flowers. Then when it came to the cake itself, the taste was to die for. The cake was so perfectly cooked and the flavors were perfectly balanced to give us the perfect taste of Maine. We loved Martha’s work and would happily recommend her to any couple who wants a masterpiece of a delicious cake as a showcase at their wedding!

I can’t recommend Paints & Pans enough for wedding cakes and desserts! The owner, Jenna, is incredibly talented and creates some of the most stunning cakes I’ve ever seen—truly, if you can dream it, she can bring it to life. Jenna set up a private tasting for us where we sampled her most popular flavors and talked through all the details and next steps. We ultimately chose a smaller cutting cake along with a variety of cupcakes in different flavors for our guests, and everything was absolutely delicious. The cake itself was not only beautiful but tasted amazing. One thing I especially appreciated was Jenna’s care and attention to food allergies and dietary restrictions. She took them very seriously and thoughtfully packaged allergen-friendly cupcakes separately so all of our guests could enjoy dessert without worry. That level of care meant so much to us. Jenna is a true professional and an absolute joy to work with. We’re already counting down the days until our one-year anniversary so we can defrost our cake and enjoy it all over again—it was that good!

If you want not only a delicious, but absolutely beautiful cake for your wedding, definitely go with Kristi at Ahimsa Custom Cakes! Not only was our cake gorgeous, but our guests were raving about the taste. Our best man said it was the best cake he's ever had! Kristi was excellent to work with. I sent her 3 pictures of cakes I found on the internet, each one with one element that I really liked, and I wanted to combine them. She did a wonderful job and it even went perfectly with our wedding colors, although I don't think I even told her what they were! Great flavors, too: We chose French toast, chocolate and cookie dough for our 3 layer cake (even her vanilla cake, which I normally find dull, is phenomenal!). And included in the price is a fresh made anniversary cake for your first anniversary! Can't recommend Kristi enough!

Katie is an incredible baker. My husband and I met with her a month or so before our wedding for a tasting and were very impressed with the variety of cakes and treats she had made for us. With 46 guests, we went with a small three tiered lemon berry buttercream cake and then a dozen or so each of raspberry whoopie pies and carrot cake cupcakes. Her frosting is out of the world, thick, rich yet not overly sweet. Our guests LOVED dessert. I can't wait to go back at the one year mark for lemon berry cake...we may make it a every six month tradition it was so good!

Bread and Roses made us a small, traditional wedding cake (two-tiered), and it was both beautiful and delicious! We also had them make two sizes of classic whoopie pies for our guests (mini and regular) and those were a HUGE hit. People are still raving about the whoopie pies two months after the wedding! B&R doesn't deliver, but it was worth it to have our favorite bakery in the area be a part of our wedding! They were great to work with, but old school in their ways (think: hand written contracts) and sometimes hard to get on the phone. Would highly recommend!!

Our cakes were wonderful! We were initially worried about finding a cake option that my bridesmaids and I could actually eat (between all of us we're allergic to gluten, egg, and dairy), and the cake Frank's made for us was so good you'd never have known it wasn't a normal cake. We ended up doing the layers in different flavors (vanilla and lemon) so the guests could pick which they wanted, and the design was beautiful as well. We also asked for a separate/specially decorated groom's cake that turned out beautifully. Overall, it was a flawless experience and we will definitely go back to Frank's if we need any other cakes in the future.

Royal Icing of Maine makes the best sugar cookies. Has a great variety of flavors and always so beautiful. She always gets back to me soon as she can. Always will to figure out delivery. If I can’t get to her ahead of time always tries to find an alternative

Besides having the best cupcakes ever, Vicki and her crew at LLSB are absolutely amazing. I sat down with them on two different occasions to taste (just some) of their amazing cupcake and frosting flavors. The hardest part? How to choose!!! After some deliberation we narrowed it down to four different flavor. They were all amazing. I sat down and told Vicki what my theme was for my wedding, I showed her a couple pictures and she took it and ran with it. It was a gorgeous pedestal of cupcakes with lights and sparkly snowflakes all with our decadent cake topped with our sparkling gold cake topper. It was everything I envisioned and more. Thanks ladies at LLSB!
