Lili Goodman Freitas, Ph.D. began officiating weddings in 1983 and brings her professional experience as an ordained minister, educator and counselor to her work. Her educational background includes master’s degrees in social work and psychology, along with doctorate degrees in folklore-folklife and spiritual science. She maintains a role in academia through serving on the faculty of Meridian University teaching M.A and Ph.D. students in psychology. Dr. Goodman Freitas’ knowledge of couples, psychology and spirituality are apparent in the insightful, joyful, and loving presence she brings to her work. She is a seasoned public speaker and will present your ceremony with poise, lightheartedness and love.

Weddings of the Heart aims to envelop each couple with love, compassion and respect from beginning to end. The initial complementary consultation offered allows you to explore what you hope for in your wedding ceremony. Lili is available to officiate a civil union, non-religious, single religion, interfaith, intercultural, vow renewal, commitment ceremony or rehearsal services.
