Lili made our wedding ceremony perfect!

Lili made our wedding ceremony everything we were hoping for and more! We met several times (on Zoom and in person) and were in constant communication via email to perfect our ceremony. She made the daunting task of creating a short, simple but sweet ceremony easy to do. She guided us through the whole process and it was not overwhelming at all! She even helped guide us through the vow writing process too. What I was most thankful for though was the actual day of- My fiance and I were both so nervous and her calm, gentle voice kept the ceremony moving at the perfect pace that felt sentimental and special. She is calm, cool, collected perfection! We highly, highly recommend Lili for your wedding ceremony!

Your officiant search is over!

Lili was so great to work with! She spent so much time interviewing us and sending various options so our wedding ceremony was absolutely perfect. You can tell how much she cares and I would highly recommend working with her if you need an officiant for your upcoming nuptials.

Lili is fantastic!

Lili was absolutely terrific. She was easy to work with and was available whenever we needed to ask her questions. Many of our guests were impressed at her professionalism and what she said throughout our ceremony. They even asked how long we had known Lili because she made our ceremony so personal and kept things light and happy. She made the entire experience stress free and easy. We would absolutely recommend her! Having her perform our ceremony was one of the best parts of our wedding!

Officiant for wedding

Lili was absolutely fantastic. She was so helpful during the planning process and explained exactly how everything would go. We were very nervous but she made the ceremony so smooth and easy for us. Everyone loved how sweet the ceremony was. 100% recommend Lili for any wedding!

Professional, personalized, timely

Lili is a pleasure to work with. She has the elegance, kind demeanour, and expressive voice that were were looking for. She worked on a very tight deadline with us, providing personalized guidance on script options and examples of readings. We met over two 60-minute meetings and she promptly responded to our emails.

Lili was wonderful! She was responsive and flexible when preparing the ceremony, and was professional, well-spoken, and warm the day of.

Lili worked with us very collaboratively to develop a script for the ceremony, and came up with great options for us to choose from to shape the ceremony we wanted! She was also very on top of logistics, and made sure we had our wedding license all set and had a clear plan for all logistics before the day of. We were thrilled with the ceremony and with her as an officiant! We highly recommend Lili at Weddings of Heart.

Felt the love

Dr. Lili Freitas won us over with her warmth and positive attitude. When we interviewed possible officiants for our wedding we wanted someone who would work with us to figure out what we wanted, because both my husband and I were raised Roman Catholic but are not practicing Catholics as adults. We also chose not to get married in a church but wanted a ceremony that had some aspects of religion, traditions from my filipino culture and overall a ceremony filled with an exuberance of love. Dr. Lili did just that with the ceremony she put together for us. The ceremony ended up very beautiful and we received so many compliments from guests saying that they felt all the love and even had a lot of happy tears (including my husband who is the most stoic man I know). Dr. Lili was a pleasure to work with.

Lili made our wedding ceremony magical!

Lili made our wedding ceremony magical! We booked with Lili back in 2020 and she was flexible and kind when we had to move our wedding due to COVID. With no problems (or cost) whatsoever with the move she officiated our wedding on 8/28/21.

Our friends and family all commented that they thought she was a grandmother, or a long time family friend, because our ceremony felt so personal. Lili was totally a pro - she had the whole process figured out and it made it easy and not stressful for us to walk through the process. She even asked for our preference on what she should wear.

She gave us a ton of material to work from and then we went through an editing process where we picked out pieces from her scripts that we liked to form our final ceremony. This allowed us exactly the right amount of customization and made it so that we were able to "write" what made sense for us without having to write anything from scratch.

We also didn't want to write super long custom vows like we had heard at friends weddings... (the whole here is our entire relationship story etc), so we asked for some partially prewritten vows and customized those and then read them ourselves and it was exactly the right amount of personal that we wanted to share out loud with friends and family. There were plenty of tears shed!

I would 100% recommend working with Lili on your ceremony! She helped us created something so meaningful (and not religious) especially since we didn't have that perfect friend to officiate. Thank you Lili!!

Above and beyond

Working with Reverend Lili Freitas was the best part of our wedding. She made our ceremony so meaningful. Reverend Lili is pleasant to work with, intelligent, personable and really provided for a personalized wedding preparation experience. Our family and friends all indicated that the ceremony was so heartfelt because of Reverend Lili. Her expertise and experience just shines. My husband and I could not recommend Lili highly enough. If we could do it all again, we would without a doubt, work with Lili and Weddings of Heart. Thank you, Lili, for making our wedding truly special and memorable!!

Just Perfect!

We can't reccomend Dr. Lili Freitas enough! She planned our ceremony with all of our wishes in mind and every aspect was just perfect. Dr. Freitas was so kind and warm we were drawn to her from our very first meeting. She executed our ceremony with such warmth and made us feel at ease the entire time. We had so many people ask us afterward where we found such an awesome wedding officiant! Thank you Dr. Freitas for contributing to our beautiful day and making it so special!

Beautiful ceremony!

We just got married up in Napa and feel so lucky to have had Lili officiate. She is warm, responsive, and set just the right tone for our big day. A handful of people approached us at dinner to say how fabulous the officiant was-and we totally agree! Thank you for so thoughtfully planning and executing our ceremony!

Professional, warm and personal, simply great

Lili was amazing, both very warm and professional, we got so excited and emotional that we basically forgot how to speak but she did put us in ease. The ceremony was very beautiful and she really tried to learn more about me and my bride so it was very personal and touching as well.

Our Perfect Wedding Ceremony

Working with Lili was such a wonderful experience. She was so caring and thoughtful through the entire process. She took time to get to know us and asked us so many thoughtful questions in order to write the perfect ceremony for us. We really enjoyed talking with her beforehand and collaborating on the ceremony. The ceremony was absolutely perfect. She is truly a pro! It was beautiful, meaningful, and had the aspects of traditional ceremonies we wanted and also had our own touch. Our guests were very impressed with the ceremony and how touching it was. We felt like we were in such good hands throughout the process because Lili really knows what she is doing and gave excellent advice and suggestions. She even asked us what we wanted her to wear to the ceremony. We couldn't have asked for more from an officiant. She took the stress out of planning our wedding ceremony and helped make it such a perfect experience.

Lili is a wonder to work with. I loved how she gave my groom and I options for our ceremony and really got to know us to make it really personal. Though our ceremony was all planned out what wasn’t was my 2 yr old son running around the whole time. As well as my 2 yr old niece walking up during the ceremony and asking Lili “are you done talking yet?” She could not have handled it more gracefully and have a good chuckle and continued on. She took anything those two threw her way and continued on without skipping a beat. Everyone asked how we knew her as she wasn’t able to describe us as a couple perfectly.

Lili really made our ceremony special, and I'm so grateful to her for that. At first we were thinking about asking a friend to officiate our wedding but I'm so glad we ended up finding Lili, because she provided so much more than just the formalities on the day of. When we first got in touch, Lili set up a phone call so she could get to know us better and understand what we wanted the ceremony to look like. After that, she sent us pages and pages of options to choose from, for readings, vows, and the ceremony layout. She also gave us sections to write ourselves which she incorporated into the ceremony beautifully. We had a final meeting a few weeks out to nail down all the logistics, and Lili had every question figured out ahead of time. She's clearly very organized and has a lot of experience, but it also feels like she's there for you 100%.

She arrived early to our ceremony, checked in with us to see how we were doing, met our families, and brought copies of the readings and vows. She was an absolute pro - she even stepped away after the pronouncement so she wouldn't be in the background of the first kiss photos, something I wouldn't have even thought of until after. And we had a lot of family and friends who never cry with tears in their eyes after the ceremony, telling us how beautiful it was. I'm so grateful to Lili for helping us put together a really memorable ceremony.

Lili was ah-mazing! From start to finish, she did everything to make us feel comfortable and involved. Extremely professional, and responsive, maybe even more than us (sorry Lili!). We new after a few minutes of speaking with her that she was the one we wanted to marry us. Lili is such a warm soul who is very caring and thoughtful. She even incorporated our daughter into our ceremony which meant a lot to us. Our guests loved her just as much as we did. Any couple would be lucky to have Lili as their officiant. Thank you again!

My husband and I were thrilled to have Lili as the officiant on our wedding day. While we never met in person until the day of the wedding, we both felt an instant connection with her while using face time. She wrote a ceremony that was perfect for us and all of our guests loved her. Lili was always very attentive to us and was willing to make changes to anything we wanted. She gave us reasonable timelines to meet in order to make sure we had our vows written ahead of time. She was beyond just an officiant, she takes the whole wedding day into account. I would absolutely recommend to her anybody looking for an officiant in the bay area.

Lili was everything we were looking for in an officiant for our wedding. She was so thoughtful, and she got to know us during the months leading up to our wedding. She was also very responsive and great at communicating our ceremony drafts to us. In addition to creating our perfect ceremony (which included comments from our family and friends, to whom she reached out), she was also a calming force for me on our wedding day. She could tell that I was very nervous, and she helped me meditate and calm myself just a few minutes before the ceremony, which really helped me to be able to take everything in once I got up to the alter. We definitely plan to stay in touch with her, and we can't recommend her more highly.

Lili was amazing from the very beginning. We were planning our Sonoma wedding from Minnesota and she made it very easy for us from a distance. She scheduled video calls to speak with both of us to gain an understanding of our relationship and what we wanted out of our ceremony. She put together a proposed ceremony draft with a lot of options so we could make it unique to us and even included a list of different types of readings for us to choose from. She staid on top of everything and sent us reminders over the months leading up to the wedding. When we were in Sonoma meeting with vendors, Lili took the time to meet with us in person, leaving us even more impressed. She is very organized with a calming and delightful demeanor that was very much appreciated throughout the entire process and on the wedding day. She spoke with elegance and purpose and made the ceremony very meaningful to everyone. I would highly recommend Weddings of Heart.

My husband found Lili through an internet search. When we met with her for the first time, we were immediately sold! She listened to us, guided us through the whole process, and helped us create a beautiful ceremony. She was always responsive and easy to work with. On the wedding day, she had a neck injury and was in pain, but she made it to our wedding and was a real trouper! Our wedding wouldn't have been the same without her. We are so grateful we found her and truly appreciate her great services. If we ever renew our vows we will go to Lili. If you are looking for someone who will help you write a beautiful wedding with your vision in mind, do not hesitate to go to Lili!

Lili has such a good nature. She is smart, loving and works to make the ceremony what reflects individuality as well as partnership in marriage. She gave us a lot of resources, and guided the process with caring. I would highly recommend her, both for her experience and the value received.

We loved working with Lili and Greg! We enjoyed several "preparing for marriage" sessions with Lili which were always engaging, uplifting, and helpful. She was also instrumental in crafting a ceremony that felt very "us" and had endless suggestions for readings and vows. Lili was the officiant at our surprise wedding at a northern Sonoma winery, and did an amazing job. We had a long conversation with her about us as a couple and some back and forth over email to arrive at the perfect outline for a short but sweet ceremony, and she helped us pull off the surprise by arriving early and hiding out until the time came to shock our family and friends, who thought they were celebrating our birthdays! She also printed out our vows and put them together in a nice little package with the script of the ceremony so we'd have it as a keepsake. Lili is lovely, poised, professional, and warm. Highly, highly recommend!

Lili was an absolute pleasure to work with. She officiated our non-denominational wedding and it was just perfect. Her words embodied how we feel about each other, and really focused on our love.

Lili gave us a good structure to work with and we wrote our own vows as well. She met with us before the wedding and definitely provided a lot of guidance, and also helped us realize some of the logistics as well. Additionally, she has lots of idea for little tweaks to make the ceremony ever so personal. She asked if we wanted to honor any family members/friends, and suggested we add on a drinking from a common cup. I really liked the idea! She's definitely very experienced and I just love how everything went.

I am so glad we went with Lili as our officiant. We just really connected with her from our email/phone conversations. She's incredibly easy to work with and responds promptly. Our friends also commented on how great she was. Everything was just so genuine, and it felt very personal.

She also submitted our marriage license a few days after the ceremony. So it's OFFICIAL!

A big thank you to Lili and I highly recommend her as a wonderful, genuine, easy-going officiant. I loved everything!

Lili was great to work with. From our first meeting, she was warm and professional. We met a couple times before the wedding to review the ceremony, and she offered us many flexible options to make the ceremony our very own. Rachel and I kind of had a feeling straight away that we'd found just the right match for what we had in mind with Reverend Lili. We actually both happened to find and take a liking to her independently. Once the confusion passed and it became clear we were talking about the same person, a dialogue was opened, and soon enough, one of the major points of stress associated with trying to plan our wedding suddenly seemed that much more under control.

Even over Skype (We actually live on the East Coast, though Rachel originally hails from California.), her warmth and professionalism was immediately evident. She started off by trying to get a feeling for the two of us and our quirks. And we had a few to throw at her! We're the type of lovable (Apparently.) social misfits who looked to Star Trek and Lord of the Rings for metaphors with which to explain the needs we each fulfilled for the other. She was obviously amused, but rolled with it like a champ, and soon enough had the general idea of it all worked into her comments for the ceremony.

Soon after that, she had it all broken down and organized over the course of a few successive documents, continually refined with our feedback. Our sometimes late feedback, mind you, but she was always nice and understanding about that. She was even able to work in a few extras that Rachel wanted, such as a hand fasting, and the use of a Quaich.

By the time of the ceremony itself, Rachel and I were rather stressed and nervous, as one might expect, and her warmth and calm was invaluable in helping keep us both together. We couldn't have asked for a lovelier ceremony, and we'd both recommend the woman who steered the event itself to anyone.

As a couple, we had some ideas about what we wanted a ceremony to include, but not the specifics or how to structure it. Still, it was important that it be based on our vision. Since we were from out of state, we did phone interviews with five officiants which included time for some specific questions as well as some chatting/getting to know each other. Several candidates were very good, but Lili Goodman Freitas was by far the best fit for us. We had immediate rapport. She also suggested some ideas as to the form based on what we were interested in.

Throughout the next several months, there were exchanges of email and a couple of phone conversations to bring it all together. We ended up writing a lot of the ceremony (as we desired) and Lili suggested options for readings and flow. She added her own parts, which she had us review, and was open to ideas for modifications.

When the day finally came for us to be in San Francisco, we met Lili at the Botanical Garden in Golden Gate Park. It was a beautiful, sunny, warm day (no, Lili did not provide that, but we were very thankful nonetheless!). We had found a spot that was somewhat private, with rocks to stand on in a babbling brook. Lili’s readings were done very well, and we were extremely pleased with how OUR ceremony turned out…exactly as we had planned, written and hoped.

Lili was always on time for calls, for replies to emails, and importantly, on the day of the ceremony. The three of us worked together really well, and we recognize that was because of Lili’s best asset - she listen’s really well.

I would highly recommend Reverend Lili. She is very pleasant and friendly and open to making the ceremony personalized and special. Not only does she have a broad range of types of ceremonies she has done (making her able to give good ideas for yours), but she actually cares about getting to know her couple prior to officiating. With us both being in the military, she was able to do my husband's and my ceremony on short notice post-deployment, was flexible with meeting times, very helpful with planning, and wonderful the night of. I couldn't have asked for a lovelier officiant and am so glad to remember her as I look back in pictures of the wedding.

Lili provided us with such a fantastic wedding ceremony. My husband and I looked at many officiants, but Lili seemed to be the best fit for us. From the first contact with her, Lili was professional, reliable, and very well spoken. You can tell that she genuinely cares about wanting to get to know the couple she is marrying, and is so approachable. She met with us multiple times, and even skype'd with us to do a runthrough of our ceremony. Rev. Lili Freitas was exceptional to work with. My husband and I live in Walnut Creek and she resides in Petaluma and she was so flexible on all of our meetings. She was willing to meet anywhere, but we ended up Skyping most of our appointments as it was easier for all of us. She was attentive and listened to our story and really made the ceremony everything we wanted. On the day of the wedding we actually misplaced the marriage license and we were all running around crazy trying to figure out what to do! Lili was completely calm and told us that we had plenty of options and to not worry. Luckily we found it the next day and she took care of everything!

Lilly was our dream officiant. We first met over coffee where she told us about herself then asked us about ourselves and our relationship. We worked together to write our entire ceremony and she was always quick to respond to my emails and phone calls. She truly cares about her clients and likes to incorporate personal touches into her ceremonies. Ours was out of this world amazing. I felt very comfortable with Lilly from day one and I admit it was her bright smile that helped me keep it together as I walked down the aisle the day of my wedding. Lili was an absolute pleasure to work with! I must say the HARDEST vendor to find for us was a good officiant. We needed someone able to assist us in creating our own ceremony, without causing any undue stress. We ended up interviewing 8 different officiants with varying degrees of success--some were insisting we needed to take marriage counseling classes prior to them agreeing to marry us-although I am not too sure why? My husband and I get along quite well, and we are in our 30's and are no strangers to the give and take needed for a relationship to work well. We have never been married before-because we were never in a rush. We take marriage seriously--so some officiants tended to be pretty judgmental, which was irritating to say the least.

Well enough of that--I AM SO GLAD WE CHOSE LILI!!! She made everything a pleasure to do from writing our ceremony, to our vows, even rehearsal went smoothly thanks to her. The day of was wonderful and I am SO GLAD she was there to marry us. She is such a sweet lady, and we are both very happy with her services!

We worked with Lili on a destination wedding in Sonoma county and she was very friendly and responsive to emails. It is a breath of fresh air. She was very easy to get a hold of, answered all our questions, and created a very personal and touching ceremony for us. Lily was great! She was so willing to work with our off beat ceremony. We didn't have a traditional ceremony. She helped us construct our own non-denominational labyrinth ceremony. We also scheduled a pre-marriage counseling session which worked out great! She really got to know us that really helped when the day of the wedding came. I had a mini-breakdown moment and she was a great calming light that kept us neutral and sane. A very pleasant person and someone who has done a lot of weddings before and really knows what she's doing. We'll go to her again for sure!

Lili worked with us to co-write a custom ceremony for our inter-faith wedding. I'm spiritual and my husband is Jewish and both sides of the family were happy with our ceremony and left saying how beautiful it was.
