This is not just a venue. When you select Flying Cloud for your wedding you get so much more!!!! Yes the grounds are amazing. And Julia who coordinated for us is amazing as well. March isn’t peak wedding season so rain was a challenge on our big day. Flying Cloud came through and constructed an overhang from the inside to the outside where the bar cart was so guests could walk between the party and getting beverages without worrying about getting wet. Also, we had just enough luck where the rain broke just long enough for an outdoor ceremony and again Flying Cloud came through holding off til the perfect moment to finalize set up keeping flowers and decor inside so everything wasn’t drenched pre-ceremony. The coordination of the event from booking up to the day was excellent. We paid the extra fee for planning support and it was well worth it. Julia knows her stuff, has great relationships with vendors, and basically knows how to make the vision in your head a reality.

We hosted our wedding at Flying Cloud Farm in July 2025 and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful — it has such an intimate feel while being conveniently close to Petaluma, which is a wonderful town to host your guests.

Julia, the month-of planner who comes with the venue, was phenomenal. Honestly, we don’t know what we would’ve done without her. While her official role is ‘month-of,’ Julia was supportive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She guided us in choosing vendors — all of whom we selected based on her recommendations — and every single one was flawless. She was friendly, patient, and incredibly professional.

Leading up to the wedding, Julia was super organized and provided us with so much information, tips, and things to think about that hadn’t even crossed our minds. On the day of, everything ran seamlessly. We didn’t have to worry or stress about a single thing — we didn’t even lift a finger when it came to setup or organizing on the day itself. As the day evolved, Julia adapted and improvised to make sure each moment was used perfectly.

The staff at Flying Cloud were also fantastic — friendly, efficient, and just great to work with. We had absolutely zero issues. On top of all that, the pricing is very reasonable for the value you get. One huge bonus: Flying Cloud lets you bring your own alcohol, rather than requiring you to hire an open bar caterer, which saved us a ton of money.

Flying Cloud Farm exceeded all our expectations as a wedding venue! We hosted our intimate wedding here, and we got so many compliments on the space from our guests. The entire day was absolutely beautiful, and everything flowed seamlessly thanks to the efforts of the venue coordinator, Julia. Jeanette and her team have been at this for a while, and it shows in how organized and smooth all of the operations were. Everything was perfect for our wedding, and it was a steal as far as value in Sonoma County. The surrounding vineyards made a beautiful backdrop during our outdoor ceremony! Highly recommend!

Flying Cloud was everything we could have asked for in a venue and more! Jeanette and her daughter are so knowledgeable, organized and easy to work with. Jeanette was always quick to respond to any questions we had and always had solutions to any bumps we came up against. We got married in March and loved that if the weather did not cooperate that there were inside and outside spaces available.
The bridal suite was comfortable and the perfect spot for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. My husband and his groomsmen enjoyed having their own space onsite as well.
Our guests raved about how beautiful the space is and the friendliness of everyone involved.

Wedding planning can certainly be overwhelming, but choosing Flying Cloud as our venue was the easiest choice we made. Jeanette is beyond amazing and was a huge part of why we chose it for our special day. As a bride who lives on the other side of the country, I never once felt anxious or concerned that she wouldn't meet my expectations! I truly felt so at ease when talking and meeting with her; professional, organized, and accommodating are just a few of the ways to describe her. Flying Cloud allowed me to include all the personal touches I wanted and I was beyond happy with how everything looked on my wedding day. Flying Cloud Farm was the PERFECT place for our wedding ceremony and reception! We held our wedding outdoors, and the beautifully manicured lawns and courtyard created just the setting we were looking for. The indoor space, which we used for the bar and dancing, is lovely and creates a sort of "winery" feel. We have to say, one of the best parts of holding our wedding at Flying Cloud was working with the wonderful Jeannette Bell, the owner! She is a true professional. Throughout the planning process, Jeannette was easily available to answer questions or provide suggestions. Prior to the wedding, Jeannette met with us to make sure all of the details were in order and made sure that all of our vendors had the information. She also guided us through a very smooth wedding rehearsal. On the day of the wedding, Jeannette served as the wedding day coordinator, making sure that all deliveries were received, the set up was done according to plan, and the timeline was followed. Jeannette truly took the weight off of our shoulders! My husband and I were able to relax and enjoy the wedding, knowing we were in good hands! Our guests enjoyed the wedding, and were absolutely raving about the beautiful wedding site! We could not imagine a more perfect wedding day, and we are grateful to Jeannette and Flying Cloud for making it happen :)
