Flying Cloud Farm is a family-owned wedding venue nestled on 33 private acres in the rolling hills of Petaluma, California. Surrounded by vineyards, eucalyptus groves, gardens, and panoramic countryside views, our property offers the beauty of Sonoma County wine country with the warmth of a private estate.

Just what we hoped for
This is not just a venue. When you select Flying Cloud for your wedding you get so much more!!!! Yes the grounds are amazing. And Julia who coordinated for us is amazing as well. March isn’t peak wedding season so rain was a challenge on our big day. Flying Cloud came through and constructed an overhang from the inside to the outside where the bar cart was so guests could walk between the party and getting beverages without worrying about getting wet. Also, we had just enough luck where the rain broke just long enough for an outdoor ceremony and again Flying Cloud came through holding off til the perfect moment to finalize set up keeping flowers and decor inside so everything wasn’t drenched pre-ceremony. The coordination of the event from booking up to the day was excellent. We paid the extra fee for planning support and it was well worth it. Julia knows her stuff, has great relationships with vendors, and basically knows how to make the vision in your head a reality.

#1 Wedding venue in Sonoma County
My husband and I had our wedding at Flying Cloud this past weekend and it was the easiest and best decision we've made. The entire property is beautiful and was the perfect space for our 95 person wedding.
We were lucky enough to have Julia be our wedding planner/ day of coordinator and couldn't be more grateful to have her in our corner. I TRULY don't know what I would've done without all of her help. Not only is she so approachable and communicative, but she's patient, intentional, and super accommodating. She is also extremely knowledgeable when it comes to the vendors, timeline, and event planning general. Julia truly brought our vision to life and executed the day so seamlessly.
The guests were in shock of how amazing the scenery is from Flying Cloud and from the venue itself. We can’t recommend this venue and Julia as your planner enough. Thank you so much for everything Julia!!

Perfect venue
We hosted our wedding at Flying Cloud Farm in July 2025 and couldn’t be happier with the experience. The venue itself is absolutely beautiful — it has such an intimate feel while being conveniently close to Petaluma, which is a wonderful town to host your guests.
Julia, the month-of planner who comes with the venue, was phenomenal. Honestly, we don’t know what we would’ve done without her. While her official role is ‘month-of,’ Julia was supportive and helpful throughout the entire planning process. She guided us in choosing vendors — all of whom we selected based on her recommendations — and every single one was flawless. She was friendly, patient, and incredibly professional.
Leading up to the wedding, Julia was super organized and provided us with so much information, tips, and things to think about that hadn’t even crossed our minds. On the day of, everything ran seamlessly. We didn’t have to worry or stress about a single thing — we didn’t even lift a finger when it came to setup or organizing on the day itself. As the day evolved, Julia adapted and improvised to make sure each moment was used perfectly.
The staff at Flying Cloud were also fantastic — friendly, efficient, and just great to work with. We had absolutely zero issues. On top of all that, the pricing is very reasonable for the value you get. One huge bonus: Flying Cloud lets you bring your own alcohol, rather than requiring you to hire an open bar caterer, which saved us a ton of money.
We can’t say enough nice things about Flying Cloud and Julia. Thank you for making our wedding day absolutely perfect!

Amazing wedding venue!
Flying Cloud Farm exceeded all our expectations as a wedding venue! We hosted our intimate wedding here, and we got so many compliments on the space from our guests. The entire day was absolutely beautiful, and everything flowed seamlessly thanks to the efforts of the venue coordinator, Julia. Her knowledge of the venue, excellent communication skills, and meticulous planning ensured that our wedding was flawlessly executed. We couldn't have asked for a better experience!

Relaxed, organized and exceptionally beautiful!
Flying Cloud was everything we could have asked for in a venue and more! Jeanette and her daughter are so knowledgeable, organized and easy to work with. Jeanette was always quick to respond to any questions we had and always had solutions to any bumps we came up against. We got married in March and loved that if the weather did not cooperate that there were inside and outside spaces available.
The bridal suite was comfortable and the perfect spot for me and my bridesmaids to get ready. My husband and his groomsmen enjoyed having their own space onsite as well.
Our guests raved about how beautiful the space is and the friendliness of everyone involved.

Charming, Peaceful, Intimate Venue!
I remember how much I relied on reviews when we were choosing a wedding venue. I'm here to tell you that this venue is absolutely breathtaking. We couldn't have been happier with our choice of Flying Cloud Farm for our wedding. Jeanette was so great to work with and she really handles all the details, yet gives you the flexibility of adding all your own special touches. Our day went so smoothly and our guests could not stop commenting on how beautiful and unique the venue was. I highly recommend it!!!
